Another Laurence bachelor bites the dust😉, this time to a NYC 🌇Alice in Wonderland❤

Format: Kindle Edition
👍4.5 🌟stars
A great mixture of romance, heat, intrigue and warm moments with family and friends. Set in NYC and Magnolia Falls, Dean Laurence finds a lovely, intriguing girl turning up in his home and soon discovers she's Alice of Wonderland, a classic theater under restoration in difficult circumstances. I really like that the author has written a mystery to be solved in each of these romances about the obscenely wealthy and successful Laurence brothers. In this one the mystery and intrigue focus on strange problems and accidents cropping up during the theater renovations.

There are secrets and lies of omission as well as physical danger that threaten this couple's future, but when they are in sync they steam up the room! Alice has an unusual and touching backstory that drives her ambition and Lee, a friend and colleague who supports her through good times and bad. R.S. Lively creates excellent sidekicks for the series' principal characters, also providing some comic relief with the Laurence brothers' bucket list business clients and the community doings in quaint Magnolia Falls, the Laurence family's hometown. Magnolia Falls events marshal and stickler for order and perfection Judy is one of my favorite secondary characters in the series.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

What a great read by R.S. Lively,,,,

Alice Larkin was always with her father at the theater,,, movie or live, when she was young,,,, since her father's passing she has done several things but one thing was set in her mind,,,, she wanted to buy the old Goldberg theater,,,, she finally got to do just that, but she needed more, so, she has a silent partner, he goes only by "Q" ,,,, she has a best friend, his name is Lee ,,,, now, behind on her payments, this "Q" is getting nasty and she has no where to turn,,, or, does she,,,,

Dean Laurence is a twin with his brother, Preston,,,there are 3 other brothers, Grant, Asher and Seth,,,, the oldest brother started a business called DreamMakers Inc....and the other brothers followed suit,,, they each have their specialties and they help their clients with their own bucket lists,,,, Dean's are in the arts,,, music, theater and things alike,,,, he meets Alice one night and now he may be behind the messages Alice has been getting,,,,

This was an awesome read,,,, I really enjoyed the chemistry between Dean and Alice ,,,, and I really thought I knew the identity of "Q",,, boy, was I WAY wrong,,,,, this has got the action, adventures and some very steamy scenes,,,,, I would so totally recommend this book to everyone,,,, I have gotten this ARC voluntarily to do an honest review

Dean and Alice meet by fluke, but boy do they hit it off and man do they have chemistry. Alice and Dean may come from different upbringings but they have the love of theater to share. I loved seeing Dean fall for Alice and the way he takes her out and surprises her on their dates. He is a keeper, but he is keeping a few secrets that could possibly cause trouble in Wonderland if he isn't careful. Alice is sweet, funny and very stubborn and that is what Dean likes about her. Their story is sweet and heart warming with a good story line that has it share of surprises.
R.S.Lively always brings us such well written stories with such strong characters and this one is no different. Dean's story is number three in the Laurence brothers series, although it can be read as a standalone why not read the other two stories first and get connected with the other Laurence boys, because why would you want to miss out, and it will help you connect the characters in this story. Thanks again for another "Wonderful" read.
I received an advanced readers copy in exchange for my honest review. This series is well worth your time!

When I read that first paragraph as Alice described how she thought the G.I. Joes in drag she played with were simply "kick-a$$ women with intense physiques, edgy haircuts, and highly developed self-awareness" I knew this was going to be an amazing and memorable read. I was not disappointed. This book simply rocked. Alice and Dean are a pure force of nature when the stars are finally in alignment. Combining their strong personalities takes a certain...finesse, and all the pieces need to be in just the right place at the right time like an intricate puzzle. But as with most complex things, it's worth the wait and the trouble when it all comes together.

Quirky sidekicks and some other unique personalities join the steamy couple as life gets pretty crazy. But there's nothing average about Alice and Dean, including the way they deal with the troubles at hand. Between the plot twists and the steamy heat, they'll keep you turning those pages. Great fun...great read.

This is book three of the Magnolia Falls Series. Although you can read this without reading the others, I probably enjoyed the book more because it felt like a homecoming of sorts. Alice was wonderful, kind, caring and trying to not only retain memories of her father but also trying to do something she thought would make him proud. Dean was a real sweetheart and I loved his personality. His main fault was not telling Alice the truth sooner. How they meet, come together and all that transpires afterwards had me smiling and laughing at times and a little teary eyed too. There are some similarities between this and the second book but there is enough of a difference to give the formula a twist. Dean and Alice were also more likable than Preston and Victoria were in book two

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Dean and Alice were amazing characters, they draw you in and you won’t be able to put this book down. Their story is sweet, emotional and heartwarming, you just get all the feels with these two. I’ve been waiting for another Laurence brothers book and Dean did not disappoint. Alice is not aware of who he is or how wealthy he is and Dean finds that so refreshing and very appealing, because he’s so used to someone wanting something from him and Alice doesn’t. He wants to do everything for her and protect her all the same. The chemistry and spark between these two is explosive and this is a must read and I highly recommend this book.

ONE EXCITING EXPERIENCE!!!
Sizzling! Talk about hot, steamy and intense. Lively came through again with this pulse racing, smooth flowing, smoldering storyline and engaging plot that brings this little gem alive beautifully. The trials and tribulations, along with a few glitches and scrapes draw you in so deep you feel as though you're right there. Lively brings all of your emotions swirling into play so realistically it's easy to get swept away. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it makes a perfect backdrop for this amazing read. Incredible job Lively, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

I read the reviews and decided to give this historic romance a try. I did love Samantha/Sam and her delicious Lord Westwood, Benjamin. They have a magnetic sexual chemistry that draws the two together. That being said, I missed that this wasn’t a stand alone, which I could accept but this book ends abruptly as though someone rips the pages out and then had the audacity to have an epilogue that wasn’t really an epilogue. Sorry folks, but if you are looking for a smooth read, you won’t find it in this book. The stuffy writing style of historic novels slows the storyline down to a snails pace at time and there are far too many secondary characters to make this one that I would recommend.

What a wonderful story. The book is so well written and has you pulling for the romance and love between Alice and Dean. They come from completely different backgrounds but the minute Dean sets his eyes on Alice and talks to her he discovers what is really missing in his life. Their love of New York and the theater brings them closer then ever. But there are things at work that might keep them apart. Awesome story that keeps your interest throughout the book. Great HEA. Dean and Alice are a great couple that are really good together. They both seem to want the same things and their personalities fit together nicely. Excellent interactions and great development of their relationship. But there’s more to the story and these likable characters have more to face and that includes facing the truth. This is the third book in the series but I thought it worked fine as a stand-alone. We do meet characters from the other books but they don’t impact the story about Alice and Dean. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

Adorable

When you sit down to read this latest Laurence brothers novel you are immediately pulled into the story. I found myself getting lost in the story and not wanting to put the book down until it was finished.

I cannot help but love when a couple comes together over common goals and nothing feels rushed. Of course no relationship is perfect and a man always seems to mess something. The point that makes the story interesting is to match the man to prove himself.

Until Next Time.... Tabi

I loved Dean and Alice's story.

It was romantic, sweet, mysterious and captivating. A true love story with a bit of spice. The answer to the mystery also surprised me. There is a lot that goes on in this book. I had to read it in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book. It is very well written. I am looking forward to another.

I loved this well-written, entertaining, billionaire romance. There is drama, a huge secret, a surprise baby, steam and likable, relatable characters. While this is part of a series, this volume can be standalone. The main characters are defined and share a love of theatre but secrets can break them apart. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

This is the third book about the Lawrence brothers, and is Dean and Alice’s story. Dean in back in town to work with his brothers and Alice has a passion for theatre. This is a well written story which is fun, sweet, and entertaining as well as action packed. I was totally enthralled throughout, and recommend this talented authors’ work for all.

This series keeps getting better and better with each story!!

All Alice wants to do is keep her promise to her late father but is having a hard time doing so. She bought a piece of her childhood with the help of a silent partner that has become aggressive and demanding. When her best friend asks her for a favor last thing she expected was to meet a handsome man that will change her life in more ways then one.

Dean has it all. From the looks to very large bank accounts thanks to being part owner of DreamMakers, Inc., alongside his four brothers. When one of his loyal clients wants to have a dinner to introduce him to a potential new client he hires a cook for the evening. He is taken back by the beautiful, sassy woman cooking in his kitchen. Determined to get to know her better he stops at nothing but when he finds out some information that could hurt his relationship with her and hurt her he needs to decide what’s best for them both but at what cost??

This is the third book in the Magnolia Falls series and just like the ones before it, it’s an amazing read with all the feelings. There were moments my sides and cheeks hurt from laughing so hard and moments I needed tissues. Can’t wait to read more of this series!! 🖤🖤
