Read for my toddler's bedtime. What an amazing book! I loved learning about how smart the octopus is! Octopus life is very fascinating. I didn't know that when it tried to escape from predators it can let go of one of the 8 arms and regrow it weeks later. I was not aware of the octopus escape in New Zealand aquarium in 2016! How interesting that after the male and female mate, the male dies.. whoa! I'm fascinated by octopus facts now.

48 pgs. I loved reading this book about the octopus. It has beautiful photos throughout and lots of interesting facts. I think any student could use it for a report or recreational reading. Highly recommended for Grades 5-7.
