About the author

So who am I? Well, I'm the crazy girl with an imagination that never shuts up. I LOVE scary movies. My friends laugh at me when I scare myself watching them and tell me to stop watching them, but who doesn't love to get scared? I grew up in a small town nestled in the southern mountains of West Virginia where I spent days roaming around in the woods, climbing trees, and causing general mayhem. Nights I would stay up reading Nancy Drew by flashlight under the covers until my parents yelled at me to go to sleep.

Growing up in a small town, I learned a lot of values and morals, I also learned parents have spies everywhere and there's always someone to tell your mama on you. So when you get grounded, what is there left to do? Read! My Aunt Jo gave me my first real romance novel. It was a romance titled "Lord Margrave's Deception." I remember it fondly. But I also learned I had a deep and abiding love of mysteries and anything paranormal. As I grew up, I started to write just that and would entertain my friends with stories featuring them as main characters.

Now, I live Huntersville, NC where I entertain my family and watch the cats get teased by the birds and laugh myself silly when they swoop down and then dive back up just out of reach. The cats start yelling something fierce...lol.

I love books, I love writing books, and I love entertaining people with my silly stories.

This is Mason Kincaid’s story, the youngest of the Kincaid brothers. This book starts with Mason and Jo already dating. Jo has recovered from a traumatic break up with her ex and has been moving slowly in her new relationship with Mason.

As their relationship progresses the storyline takes a twist which sees Jo receiving strange texts and emails from an unknown sender. As things take a more sinister turn the Kincaid brothers start investigating. Jo’s stalker is becoming increasingly bold and understandably both Jo and Mason are becoming more and more concerned.

While attempting to have a romantic weekend away, unforeseen events will change the course of their lives. What happens to Mason and Jo to make all the Kincaid bothers rally around and through the course of these events will everyone survive?

I thoroughly enjoyed Masons story, I’m sure you will too.

This is Mason's story and oh boy what a story. My heart broke and was glued back together. Mason and Jo are finally together and having a great time. She and Mason are taking slow because her ex put her through a lot of mess and she wants to take things slow and that is fine with Mason. Then Mason gets some terrible news from his father and he is trying to cope with it but it just is not working for him. He is crushed by the news but he is still trying to do his work and have his life with Jo.

Then Jo starts to get these weird texts and calls and gifts that are threatening and she tells Mason and they try and figure out who is sending them. If this was not worse she is now being threatened by a caller who says the worse things he would like to do to her. She thinks it might be one of her fans as she is a world known youtuber but as her and Mason decided things have died down enough for them to take a vacation everything turns to shiz and they will have to fight for their lives.

Will Mason and his family figure out who the person is in time? or will Jo get hurt? Will the brothers get hurt? This is so suspenseful that it had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. So go on and one click this one and enjoy the roller coaster of a ride!

Since starting a relationship Mason has shown us that he can leave his playboy ways behind him and he is completely committed to Jo. Desperate times call for desperate measures so when his father decides to stop his cancer treatments, he says that he and Jo are engaged to convince him to change his mind and now he just needs to tell his fake fiancé.

After the end of her last relationship Jo is happy with what she and Mason have together. Not only does it appear that Jo has a stalker, but Mason is being accused of things that he didn’t do. Will Mason and his brothers be able to uncover the truth of who is behind the threats and mysterious happenings before it is too late?

As they faced adversity it was great to see not only Mason and Jo’s relationship become stronger but to catch up with the other characters we know and love.

Mason is a new book about the Kincaid men Apryl Baker has made me fall in love with. While I have been getting bits and pieces of Mason in previous books, this book was so much more. It was packed with so much great reading. So many great characters. I love all the Kincaid men and their women. I love their loyalty and obvious love for each other. Then there was the mystery and suspense of the story. These was a bit of darkness to it and I loved that part too. I found myself loving every thing about this book.

I cannot wait for the final Kincaid books. I really really want Connor's story. But in the meantime I look forward to reading about more of the KSI team and just getting more from Apryl Baker.

Another great story. Mason is such a sweet heart. Him and JoJo make an adorable couple. They have been through so much. I love how she doesn't give up. The nail part was the bomb!!! I love how they fought and never gave up.

GOSH! AB writes such good romance books I couldn't stop reading it.
I really love pretty much all the books she writes. I mean she can write everything from contemporary romance to the paranormal.

So, I read book 1 and 2 a while ago, and only kinda remember what happens in each one. But, I remember I enjoyed them.
This book deals with one of the other brothers Mason and his girlfriend Jo. She was in book 2 where she got into a accident with a lawnmower and had a jerk as a boyfriend.
I loved Mason and Jo together, and loved seeing the characters from the other books.
This is the last book in the series, but she mentioned the last brother Connor will be having his own series one day in a triology.
I really loved the connections the brothers have for eachother and how they love each-others wifes as sisters.

Jo starts getting weird packages, and messages on her cell one day. Then when she was at work the stalker locks her in and almost attacks her. Later while Jo and Mason are celebrating her bday the stalker hits Mason and hits him over his head with a pipe. And kidnaps Jo. Jo is held prison by the stalker for days and doesnt see his face. Mason ends up having major surgies, and not being to walk for a while and had brain surgery. when he wakes up his whole family tells him they will find her. TUrns out it was the brother of the security guard at the hospital she works at who kidnapped her. COnnor promised his brother he would find her. Jo attacks the guy Peter who she thought would rape her and runs away into the wood. Before Peter could hurt her Connor saves her. In the end she is okay, and Connor learns to walk again. At the end they both get engaaged.

Mason is finally living his best life with his girlfriend, Jo, when things start to take a crazy turn. First, he father informs him that he wants to stop his cancer treatments so Mason kind of somehow went with his family's idea that he's engaged, only Jo doesn't know that they are. However, that's only the tip of the iceberg, since Jo has a stalker, which is starting to freak them out. Especially since that stalker is messing with him as well, including trying to set him for stuff he didn't do. Jo thought things were finally looking up for her, when all these gifts & messages started arriving, and now she doesn't know what to think. At first, she thought it was a prank, but now it's starting to take a dangerous turn, so will Mason & his brothers figure out who's behind it before it's too late? This story started out hilarious, like I was laughing at the craziness of Mason's family because I already love them so much, and they're just so entertaining. Then, it seriously took a crazy turn that kept me on the edge of my seat, with all kinds of intense things happening. I mean, the twists had a litany of f-bombs dropping from me as they kept coming from every direction, until I couldn't say another word because I was just trying to catch my breath. So yeah, Apryl Baker once again, penned another amazing story about the Kincaid family that I couldn't get enough of, including those sweet tiny humans. I simply CANNOT WAIT for Conner's story, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I adored this book, I loved getting to know Mason and Jo in Forever Your Touch and this book did not disappoint in continuing their story. In Forever Your Touch, Mason and Jo got together towards the end, but you could tell that their story was just beginning and I was so excited when I saw that I could sign up to help promote Mason. I love how the Manwhore series is a little bit lighter but the Kincaid Security and Investigations series is definitely a little bit more wicked and the difference between the two.

Mason is quintessentially an amazing guy. He WAS a manwhore, but that was just because he was waiting for Jo all along, even if he did not realize it. He is extremely loving with his family and his niece looks up to him as if he hung the moon.

Jo is months out of breaking up with her douche of an ex-boyfriend, he was not physical with her and they loved each other, but she was not the center of his world and that can do emotional damage to people. She is finally happy where she is in her life with Mason and working on her own.

There are a LOT of questions on what is going to happen to the two when the semester ends and they both just need to put on their big girl panties and have it out. But on top of that there is someone stalking Jo and causing trouble for Mason. Can the two figure it out before something drastic happens?

As stated before, I adored this book and just because I received an advanced copy, I am voluntarily reviewing this book!

I was pulled right into this story. This story will pull you in and keep you turning the pages. The story has pain, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Josephine and Mason’s story. Mason is in hot trouble. He went a little crazy and said something he should not when his father told him he was done with treatments. Now he is trying to get a woman to help him out only to find out she is in danger and now he is too. He also found himself on the wrong side of the law how could things get any worse. He needs to figure that out before it happens. He needs to figure out the package issue with his girl and stop it so they can move forward. But is the danger going to take away everything before he gets a chance?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

This was my first book by Apryl but I enjoyed it so much I’m definitely going back to read all about Mason’s brothers to catch me up to Mason’s story. I really enjoyed the relationship between Mason and Jo – it seemed like they had been dating forever and were comfortable with each other and understanding of the other as well. Mason has many similar attributes as his brothers, namely being overprotective of Jo, but based on eluding from previous books that is warranted due to her ex-boyfriend. When Jo starts to get cryptic messages and gifts from someone unknown, she at first doesn’t pay any mind to them, but as the secret admirer escalates, both her and Mason become concerned. The suspense in this story had me in the edge of my seat and is really what made the story for me, especially not having read any of the other books previously. I really enjoyed the flow of the story and was dying to find out who was after Jo. Overall a great book, and I can’t wait to see who is next (here’s to hoping it’s Keith and Cara!).

Josephine or Jo Maxwell is going to school, working at the hospital, and has a YOUTUBE channel. Jo was dating someone but they broke up. Jo had an accident and hurt her leg badly. Mason Kincaid had a huge crush on Jo. He watched her YouTube channel and then found out his friend and roommate was her brother. They’ve been dating for a while and Jo starts getting notes that are scaring her. They believe it’s her ex and they try to locate him. When Mason is beat almost to death and Jo goes missing. Mason undergoes surgery and his brothers start looking for Jo. Can they find her before it’s too late?
I loved this story. You’ve got the Kincaid brothers and their families. Steamy. Suspense. Jo has a little bit of a self esteem issue. Mason is the hunky protective type. Now I will say that if you haven’t read FOREVER YOUR TOUCH you might be lost like I was. I desperately hope she comes out with Connor’s book.

This is book #3 in the KSI series, and a continuation of Forever You Touch book #4 in the Manwhore series.
Mason is the youngest of 6 brothers, and getting close to his college graduation. He's trying to figure out what exactly he wants to do after graduation. At the same time his girlfriend Jojo is still dealing with the after effects of her last relationship, medical bills, and now a stalker. Together they are trying to figure out who is after Jojo.

I have loved every step of the way this family has gone through. From the beginning with Nik when we first meet the Kincaid's and every suspenseful, on the edge moment till the last page of Mason. I can't wait to see what happens once we get Connor's story and any of the KSI security guys that we may get.

Mason by Apryl Baker continues Mason Kincaid and Jo's story who we met in Forever Your Touch. In "Mason", we get more of Mason and Jo's relationship, his family life and work life and how all that meshes. We get to see more of his siblings in this book and see how Mason is struggling with what he wants to do when he graduates college plus how to help his girlfriend with her bills caused by her ex-boyfriend so he's super stressed. Then on top of it all, Jo is dealing with a stalker. Mason and his brothers come together to figure out whose after his lady love. The twists in this story are great plus the romance and passion between Mason and Jo is great. Loved knowing that Connor's book is next.

I love the books that Apryl Baker write. No matter the genre they are always a home run. Her world’s are precise, colorful, and tightly constructed. I gave Mason only four stars – the first time I have ever write a book less than five in anything she has written. Mason is a little less intense than any of her other books with less suspense, but the hardest part was that Connor became very real in this book. Connor is the hero, but he is damaged, broken, with a hint and a promise at the story of this compelling character. Ms. Baker promises that he needs his own series and I agree but so many other things are in the way. Please, please don’t keep us in suspense any longer. Give us the story of Connor Kincaid.

This books is full of laughs, love and suspense from beginning to end. The first half we get to see Mason and Jo, we get to enjoy their relationship and connections. The second half of this book will keep you on the edge of your seat. I could not put this book down and read every word of it in just a couple of hours because I could not stop until I finished it! I adore all the Kincaid men, by Mason is a man all his own, and this book proves that! I cannot wait for more from the KSI series...and for Connor’s complicated story in the trilogy Broken Soul.

Wow! This one got to me. We followed Mason and Jo in the manwhore series. How they got to know each other and how he first fell do the girl...this one takes it to a whole other level and it gets scary. There’s someone out there watching them both but he’s after Jo. Things keep happening to throw them for a loop and it’s not funny. So many things go wrong and there’s pain...but through it all there’s love. Unconditional, pure and everlasting. It’s the hope that they can rely on and the key to their souls. It’s beautiful.
This is a fantastic book and an even better series. I know there will be more to come and I anxiously await that.

I love the Kincaid brothers!!! So it's no surprise that i enjoyed reading more of Mason's & Jo's story. It was so good! I love how perfect Jo & Mason are together. Their story was just as powerful as the other ones in this series. It was heart pounding suspense, during those certain scenes to do with Jo! Sorry no spoilers here. There was so much going on. I loved reading every second of it. I loved the ending as well. I look forward to seeing more of everyone and can't wait to read Conner's story!!! I highly recommend this series as well as the other books about the Kincaid brothers!

This is the third book in this amazing series, and is the youngest brother Mason and Jo’s story. These two are dating and the perfect match for each other. When Jo starts being threatened by a stalker, Mason is determined to protect her. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a well written flawless story which is gritty, intriguing, humorous, and with twists, suspense, and drama. I was intrigued and hooked throughout and cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I recommend for all.

I love this book!! Mason and Jo are a great couple. Mason is the youngest of the Kincaid brothers and a protector through and through. Mason needs to protect Jo from herself first because she is so clumsy and the ability to create chaos everywhere she goes. With that chaos comes some very bad people that threaten Jo. Will Mason to be able to protect her? What will happen when Mason ends up on the wrong side of the law? I can’t wait for more from this amazing author. I am looking forward to Connor’s story!!

another wonderful story

After reading the author’s notes I’m so Impressed with Apryl Baker and her writing! I have only read Apryl’s romance stories and they are so well written, I couldn’t put them down! Apryl’s alpha males are strong, sexy, loving and loyal, you wish we knew them. Apryl’s heroine’s are strong, sexy, kind, generous and loving. Apryl’s stories are so well written that you fall in love with all the characters. Thank you for writing Apryl, and I look forward to reading more of your stories!

Great book

Another fan addition to the series.
The kincaid brothers are all outstanding.
There isn't anything in the world would stop this fa!it from helping each other, whether it be child minding a cranky baby to putting their lives on the line to save each other or their significant other.
This book sees Masons girl Jo deal with a stalker.
I was a little disappointed in the ending as I didn't feel it fit the storyline, and felt rather rushed, but that's just my view, I loved the book and will be downloading the next in the series.

I think this is my favorite book in this series. I love Mason and Jo. They are perfect for each other.
I love that Jo is so clumsy. Mason is the perfect hero for her.

This is a book that you won't be able to put down until you finish it. It kept me up late and got me up early so I could finish it.

I can't wait however to read Conner's Story.

This is an amazing story. The Kincaid men love their women, and God help whoever hurts them. Mason the youngest has found the woman he wants to spend his life with, however he has to protect her from herself first. She has the ability to cause chaos wherever she goes. Couldn't put it down!!!

I devoured this book so quickly. I had forgotten how captivating the Kincaid brothers and their women are.
Like the other books there is drama and suspense that will keep you guessing till the last page.

Brilliant

Like the previous books in this series, you have to love these brothers. Their alpha tendency can be overwhelming but it comes with so much love. Mason & Jo are super cute & you root for them. The suspense grips you as does the misery. The bond of the Kincaid family never fails to deliver.

This story picks up right where it left off in Forever Your Touch, and I recommend you reading it first. I enjoyed reading Mason and Jo's slow burning love story. There's enough suspense to keep it interesting. Plus we get more of the Kincaid brother's and their families. I like the banter they have between eachother, it's somewhat like what I have with my own. Looking forward to more stories from this author.
