This is a long awaited book by April Zyon and I have to say it was worth the wait. Arkady is a demon who has to get souls for the Devil. Brynn is a woman down on her luck and when she meets Arkady, something happens between them. He knows he should stay away from her but he can't. He's drawn to her. Suddenly he's buying her food, keeping an eye on her and all the while, something is niggling at the back of his mind. There is something different about her, but what? When it's revealed, will he be able to save her? And what will Brynn think? She's going to have to be strong to endure what is going to happen to her. I was sucked into this book from page one and wow!! It's an awesome read!! Just get the book and you'll see what I mean!!!

Arkady is very good at his job, so good he has been given a new territory. Even as he begins convincing people to sign their souls to hell he is stopped in his tracks by Brynn. She is more than she seems, and she remembers him. I love that Brynn makes Arkady feel. He has lived for so long and convinced so many that goodness isn't something he is used to. I love that Brynn sees the goodness Arkady forgot he even had. I love that Ms. Zyon gave us a sweet tale. Brynn is innocent in more ways than one. She has seen depravity but fights to maintain and improve where possible. I love seeing Arkady fight against her inherent goodness. I love that Ms. Zyon gave Brynn someone who say her and fought for her. Something that has been missing in her life. She is a pawn to everyone but Arkady. I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet tale by Ms. Zyon. It is well written and full of charm. I can't wait to see where Ms. Zyon will take us next in this new world she is creating.

Brynn leads a hand-to-mouth existence working as a waitress in a diner and a strip club. Constantly harassed by customers and a former stalker, and living in a closet-sized apartment, she is amazingly optimistic. Her whole world changes when a monster of a man, Arkady, walks into her diner. A demon who has been collecting souls for hundreds of years, Arkady is inexplicably drawn to her as she is to him. Troubled by his desire for her, Arkady returns to hell to learn why and how to protect her. What he discovers is more than he ever imagined.

An erotic supernatural romance novella that is quite a hoot, it is well-written and steamy. My only quibble is that in the last quarter of the book we pretty much lose Brynn's point-of-view and Arkady's story takes over. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I would have preferred more balance since Brynn had such a strong presence in earlier in the story.

However, if you love erotic supernatural romance stories, this is definitely the book for you

This is a well written book with an interesting plot. The characters are strong and the story moves quickly and smoothly. I loved the good / evil story line and the sweetness Brynn brings out of Arkady. The author does a great job building the story and pulling you in,keeping you reading to the end. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

An enjoyable short story about the relationship between the good, pure but very down trodden Brynn and Akhady an agent of the devil. An interesting take on good and evil and the workings of Heaven and Hell. For me there was just not enough depth to the story and the action element was very short but an enjoyable short read all the same.

Brynn had a really hard life and it seems to never get better. However, I love how she never let it get her down to the point of giving up. Arkady is a Demon for Lucifer, helping him to acquire souls for Hell. He is close to meeting his quota when his life gets turned upside down. Brynn touches his black heart in a way he never let anything or anyone do. Brynn has hardly known kindness, so the attention she gets from Arkady warms her heart. She will do anything for him, and he will fight the Devil himself for her.

I love this new world the author created. It isn’t often that you see the “bad” side finding love. Unique.

April Zyon is a new author to me and what a fantastic story and after reading this story I will be looking out for more of her stories. Arkady is a demon who’s job is to get souls for the devil he meets Brynn and they are drawn to each other but something is bothering Arkady there’s something about Brynn she seems to be more. Brynn brings kindness into his life and Arkady wants to be good and he will do anything for Brynn. I loved this story it’s very well written with great characters and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

The start of a new series called Freely Given a well written story, I know I wantto readthe next book in this series. Arkady Dhark is a devil who is on a mission to sign up souls for Hell he see Brynn and just wants to do good things for her. Brynn's life has not been easy and Arkady just wants her in his life. Selling your soul to the devil. He’s a demon that sold his soul a long time ago. He enjoys his job of finding others that are weak and willing to sign over their souls. But one innocent female is about to change things. She has had a terrible life. No matter how hard she tries everyone and everything seems to be against her. Who knew it would take a demon to show her more. I love the two main characters, sweet and dangerous. The story has a cool twist to God and Lucifer.

Quick, Steamy, and surprisingly Hopeful

This is a delicious, quick read. As the author described her writing, Arkady is an alpha male and the ultimate bad boy demon. Brynn is an innocent who steals his heart. This book has classic and contemporary tropes and was great fun to read. I won’t spoil anything, but you’ll love how the HEA ending spins the book to its close. Romance lovers, from the depths of Hell to Heaven this book has IT!

What a wonderful story! I love Arkady and Brynn! This is a fairly quick read that is extremely captivating, well written with some wonderful characters. These two characters are drawn to each other. She has had a challenging life and he is so wonderful, loving and kind to her. It's very touching! I love this story!!!

I received a copy of this book from voracious readers and I really enjoyed it because of the easy to understand plot and characters. I liked how simple it was without it being boring. My favourite character was Brynn because of how innocent she was and how she didn't change as the story developed. I would definitely recommend this book to people who like romances with fantasy in them.

Once Arkady and Brynn start their romantic dance things do pick up. Redemption is a great read that I would recommend to those that enjoy paranormal romance.
