REAPER

I’m called The Reaper
due to the countless men I’ve sent to their graves.
Bad men that have touched the people I love.
Men that ruined the life of an Angel.
My Angel.
I sent her into hiding and now I want her back.
She can fight me all she wants,
But when the dead rise,
Only The Reaper can save his Angel.

CECILIA

Ryan Simon is my curse and my salvation.
He leads the darkness that I’ve been running from, my whole life.
When I think I’ve finally been freed,
He shows up to claim what is his.
I yearn for his touch,
Yet I’m afraid of the burn.
But when our past comes hurling back at us,
He’s the only one I can trust to keep me alive.

Read the blurb - it sums this story up pretty well. The Reaper is determined to reclaim what was always his, Cecilia is determined not to make it easy for him, and there are enemies lurking in the shadows. This story was insanely hot. Second chance romances are usually exceptionally sweet, but this one was incredibly raunchy. I freaking loved it!! I enjoyed getting to know the characters that make up the Death Row Shooters, starting with their Prez, and getting some crossover with the Hellbound Lovers MC. It's good to know that though some stories might be over, this author doesn't completely let them go. So we got tons of hot sex, insane chemistry, suspense, and a happy for now ending. Poe is next and I'm looking forward to finding out what happened in Hong Kong.

Great start to a new series!
I love that Ryan and the Death Row Shooters are getting their own series. We've seen them mentioned in the HellsLovers MC books and it was nice to finally get the backstory.
Ryan Simon never had any intention of becoming the President of the Death Row Shooters but the events from 6 years set things in motion, including taking the one woman he loved away from him. Now he's decided its time to bring her home but he's going to have a hell of a time convincing Cecilia to return to the club that destroyed her life.
This book is fast paced and action packed. If you're of fan of MC books you will love these characters and the bond of brotherhood between them.

First book of this series...in the beginning it's a set up of what's to come. Reaper is a young man in The Death row Shooters. Tells how he worked up and took over as the president.

Cecilia was only 15 when she showed up looking for her father who she never knew to take her in. She had nobody left. Her Grandmother had raised her to be a good girl and she even went to Catholic school. On Grandma's death bed she told her to go to her father but to be honest she probably would have done better taking her chances with foster care than with that sorry sob. At the time her dad and uncle ran the Death Row Shooters but not for long.

Firefly is what Ryan (Reaper) called her. He does his best to protect her and even falls in love with her but to keep her safe he sends her away by making an agreement with another club. When it's time can he convince her to come back to him even though it's been years and is it really safe?

Ryan is the kind of uneven Alpha male that makes me crazy. He's extremely selfish and really does see Cecilia as an object. Most of these books I feel like the H and h are suited and need each other but I never felt like Cecilia really needed Ryan. She was so much better off without him. It was sad that she got sucked back into that life that was never really where she should have been.

The story telling and the writing are pretty good, just the character of Reaper/Ryan didn't do anything for me. I did get super intrigued by Wolf and may go back to the other series to check him out.

Wow this story is absolutely amazing. Reaper will steal your soul. She's okay. As a big fan of Hellbound Lovers I couldn't wait to read Ryan's story. It truly delivers. That second epilogue is to die for. This is one journey you don't wanna miss. The writing and flow of this book is off the charts. I absolutely recommend this book.

Eeehhh

Ugh it hurts me to say this but I wasn’t into this one. Honestly there was no connection or emotion really. Maybe at the beginning but after 6 years there was nothing. And after chapter 17 and I started 18 I had to go back a few times because I thought I missed a chapter in between. I will read the next one just because I want to find out what happen to Poe but this definitely was no love story.

Reaper is the first book in the Death Row Shooters MC series written by author Crimson Syn. I have been looking forward to reading Ryan Simon’s (Reaper’s) story ever since he was introduced in the Hellbound Lovers MC (HLMC) series. This story can be read as a standalone MC romance, but if you would like to know more about the background stories, I do suggest you start with Wolf, the first book in the Hellbound Lovers MC series.

The story begins with Ryan, the president of the Death Row Shooters MC, and Wolf, the president of the HLMC, talking in a private meeting. Six years ago, Ryan brought Cecilia, the woman he loved, to the only place he knew would keep her safe, the Hellbound Lovers MC.  Ryan promised that he would be back for Cecilia when the threat was eliminated. So now, he’s meeting with Wolf trying to convince him to give Cecilia back.  But, does Cecilia want to see him?

Ryan is the epitome of an antihero, and he made me weak in the knees! I became absolutely captivated in this deliciously naughty story from the very beginning, and loved every minute of it!

Absolutely phenomenal start to a new MC series from Crimson Syn. The storyline is very well written with characters that you’ll come to love and most likely hate at times. We even run into a few of the Hellbound Lovers MC brothers which makes this a special treat. While this can be read as a standalone, I personally suggest you start with Wolf, the first book in the Hellbound series for the best reading pleasure.

The Reaper is the persona that Ryan becomes after the loss of several of his MC brothers in a shootout with the old regime, at which time the Reaper becomes the new Prez of the Death Row Shooters MC. But sadly that night one man slips away and vows to return and kill the one thing Ryan holds dear: Cecelia. So Ryan does the one thing he knows to do to keep her safe, he gives her over to the Hellbound Lovers MC to protect her.

It’s now 6 years later and the Reaper wants Cecelia back home. But does she want to return? Does she want to return to the MC lifestyle and to man that not only broke her heart by sending her away, but never once spoke to or came for her in 6 long years. This is a very emotional, action filled MC Romance that will wreak havoc on your soul. I Highly recommend The Reaper (and as I stated above, the Hellbound Lovers MC series). You won’t be sorry for grabbing them up asap.

2 Thumbs Up and 5 fantastic stars for The Reaper, and may I say, that this reader is very anxious for book 2 of the Death Row Shooters MC series to hit my reader.

Reaper is book one in the death row shooters MC series. This story is short, mixed paced and gritty/dark. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline gripping.
Reaper aka Ryan and Cecelia were once attracted to one another. They were both stuck in a horrible situation. Due to Cecelia needing to go into hiding, Reaper hasn’t seen her for six years. Now with the villains taken care of, Reaper wants the woman he loves back. I had a love hate relationship with Ryan. I loved how obsessed with Cecelia he was. His love for her was clear to see. That being said, I hated that he didn’t seem to care what she wanted. It was his way no matter what. The chemistry between them was clear to see and I did like them as a couple. I guess you could call their love angsty. The danger in this story had me on the edge of my seat. I was cheering Ryan on when he went after the villains.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an action packed read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

REAPER IS COMING, This Ryan's (Reaper) and Cecelia (FireFly) story, We first heard of the Death Row Shooters MC in Cain Story, Reaper and Firefly story tells of when the both met and how Ryan got the HBLMC to give Cecelia protection. So it's been 6 years since Ryan see Cecelia and now it time he wants to bring her home. This is hell of a ride that you will want to go on with Ryan and Cecelia. Cant say to much with out spoiling the whole story, A must read, I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy. I would definitely recommend DRSMC, Crimson what an explosive start DRSMC.

This was my first book from this author and I absolutely loved it. This author wrote the story in the perfect blend of past events which leads to the present and developed the characters at the perfect pace. There was some incredible heat (really incredible heat) and a great story line that had me in suspense about what was going to happen next.

It has been awhile since an MC read has captured my attention like this and I am so glad I found this read.

Ryan's story way phenomenal.
The story contains bits from the past and present reguarding his and Cecila's meeting.
Be prepared for plenty of raw and brutal violence in this one.
Looking forward to Poet's story coming soon.

Okay.... I'm beyond amazed. REAPER. IS. EVERYTHING!!!!🔥Crimson Syn did it again and I can't wait for the next installment of The DRSMC. The angst, the emotional turmoil and the HOT AF scenes will blow your mind. Reaper and Cecelia will take you on a mind blowing adventure, they'll chew you up and spit you back out and make you scream and cuss 😂but I promise it's all worth it. Get this badboy and dive into the wickedly sinful mind of Crimson Syn.

Whaa??

I just started reading this and Cecilia's anger towards Ryan just doesn't add up she is screaming at him saying "I begged you not to send me away." However, the night he sent her away what I read doesn't match up she wasn't even upset. She simply asked him why couldn't she stay with him and he told her he wouldn't be able to protect her while he was hunting down those who wanted to hurt them. She left him that night willingly and now she's all angry at him because he left her with them for six years. It really irritated me and I already can't see myself finishing this. So far I've made it 60% of the way through the story and it has been boring as all get out. The interaction between Cecilia and Ryan is back and forth he goes down on her couple times they humped each other like horny teenagers. I'm really not understanding what people see in this story it hasn't been good at all. She has this hate for him that I don't understand the only time she doesn't mind him is when he has his face between her legs. So yeah I'm punching out I won't be finishing this sorry.

This book started out really good for me, she was young when she had to go live with her dad after her grandmother passed away. Her dad was the President of the MC Club, Death Row Shooters….and her dad was vile. Anyway, Reaper was one of her dad’s guys, but he was a nice guy, her first. Long story short, one night her dad goes way too far and a fight within the club starts. Reaper takes her to my guys at the Hells Lovers MC Club to have her taken away and protected, until he removes the threat to her. I did not like this part at all, I never like time separated, and he just ups and leaves her there…wtf. This little separation was about 6 years…a. long. time….for me. He wants her back, because the threat has been eliminated, but she doesn’t want to go...he doesn’t give her a choice. So here was my little hang up with it, he wants her back so badly, but some of the things he says, thinks and does….let’s just say, he wasn’t my favorite consistently. Not that he was a bad guy, he just wasn’t my type of guy. He had changed a lot in their time apart and so had she. My heart really went out to her though, he had friends with him during their separation, and she had nobody. It was very heartbreaking. She blamed him for their separation and honestly, it was his decision.. I understood it, but she was fairly young and pretty naïve before she was thrown into that world. This was quite an emotional read with a lot of push and pull. You just can’t fight chemistry and your first true love is always a hard one.

As far as I understood, she was not with anyone during their separation and if he was, it was never mentioned for sure., so it seemed they were both celibate during the celebration. This was a dark and sexy read, with a hot af couple and a lot of baby batter. Quite a bit of pushing away by her, until closer to the end of the book. There may be some triggers for some, her dad did some very questionable things, Ryan saved her , but could be some triggers for some, he locked her in a dark room and she has anxiety, he also tried to repeatedly cop a feel and spank her, all very creepy. And Ryan himself was pretty dark when the hot back together, he just wanted her no matter what. Epilogues, with a great introduction to the next book. A lot of club storyline, that sees them making a deal with some serious players.

Explosive! This is one hard core entry into a new series that will leave you weak and winded. Striking hard and fast, the author brings out the ugliness of the current reign of the Death Row Shooters MC and the rise of the new reigning officers and club. Taken in by his uncle at the age of 14, Ryan Simon begins his career in the club having his eyes opened to many things that someone of his age shouldn't be involved in. But it is this upbringing that begins to make him the man he has become. But it is the daughter of the current President of the MC that catches his eye and his heart. She's young, innocent and beautiful. She's also in danger of being used and abused by her own father, so keeping an eye on her has become Ryan's self-imposed job, along with a few of the "good" men left in the club. The look at her as a little sister and protecting her is what they try to do, along with trying to make sure not to get on the bad side of her father. But when her father brings in two new guys who are even worse than any of the others in the club, her innocence as well as her life are in even more danger. When the smoke clears, Ryan hands her protection over to Wolf, President of the Hellbound Lovers MC, while he sees to his brothers that remain and the end of the man who got away.

Six years. Six years it takes him to make it where he is and to end the life of the man who would take his Firefly from him. Now, he is ready to claim the young woman that has held his heart for all this time. Problem is, because he made Wolf promise not to tell him where she was even if he begged, now he won't tell him. Wolf does agree to speak to Cecilia and if she agrees to see him, he will arrange it. Six years is a long time and Cecilia has moved on with her life, making something of herself and when they meet again, it is not what Ryan expects. She knows he is now Reaper, she knows he has power and money, and that he is no longer the young man she loved years ago. He's older, stronger, harder. Can she risk her freedom and her heart again?

Fantastic read and I highly recommend this exciting, intriguing, raw, rough, high octane thrill ride!

Ryan "The Reaper" Simon began as a prospect with the Death Row Shooters when he was 14 years old. Ryan tried to stay out of trouble within the club but 6 years ago everything changed when someone killed his mentor and threatened to harm the girl Ryan loved.

Cecilia Cepedo was "adopted" by the President of Death Row Shooters, Mario La Muerte Cepeda, and soon he began to force her to do things that she didn't want to do.

One night everything changes and chaos ensues and Ryan finds himself President and someone threatening Cecilia he does the one thing he never wanted to do and sends her away.

Now 6 years later Ryan wants Cecilia back but is she willing to go back to him and does Ryan have the threat under control?

I enjoyed this book and I love how the author merges this series with previous ones so we understand how it all fits together.

I liked Ryan right from the beginning and I liked how he really tried to do what he could to protect Cecilia even though he was extremely limited because of who her "father" was. I liked Ryan's relationship with Simon and how a few of the younger guys really stuck together.

I hated what was done to Cecilia and I hated that Ryan felt like he needed to send her away to keep her safe but I did understand at the same time with all of the chaos that had just ensued within the club and Ryan wanted to make sure he could keep her safe.

I did completely understand why Cecilia didn't want to go back as leaving Ryan in the first place completely broke her heart and she had finally started living her own life. There was still so much chemistry and unfinished business between the two of them but I was sad on everything that Ryan did to keep Cecilia with him at the beginning. I was happy as things began to progress between Ryan and Cecilia but there was still a chance that the past was coming to come back.

The club business was getting super interesting but there was so much unease with Ryan and Poe and things did not go the way I thought they would and the end shocked me and now I can't wait to see what happens next and try to find out what happened!

I accepted to read Reaper in exchange for an honest review from the author. It does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

**4.5 stars**

“I'm not going to spin you into a web of fairy tales and fancy dreams. My life is shit and continues to be shit. From the moment I stepped foot into that goddamn place and became a Prospect, my life turned into a nightmare.”

I was so excited to read this book! As soon as I saw the cover I needed to have the book ASAP. I read and really enjoyed book 1 in the Hellbound Lovers MC series, Wolf. This does connect with that series, but it doesn't involve major spoilers, really not many spoilers at all. But just know that this is a spinoff after that series.

But regardless, this book was amazing! Just the right about of MC darkness and steam. Man, was there some steamy scenes. My lord... Ryan (Reaper) knows what he wants and he has wanted Cecilia for a VERY long time.

“"Six years, Firefly. That's how long I've waited for you."”

This does end in a cliffhanger, so keep that in the back of your mind if you are deciding whether or not to wait until more books are released. But I think it will be worth it! I can't wait for The Poet's book and see where the book/series takes off from here!

This book was intense from the beginning.. It was one of these books that you read a little, sit the kindle down to calm down and then read some more. This is what I did. Ryan and Cecilia have been thru a lot in this book. Cecilia wasn't taken care, she was more of a plaything to the guy she called dad. He was disgusting and so was some of the other members. Ryan was freedom. She knew she needed him to get out the hell she was experiencing. He was determined to keep her safe and he did that for awhile. During the six years she was safe, he made a name for himself and the Death Row Shooters MC. He changed the ways they did business and the way the brothers acted. He was also very dominating when it came to Cecilia. They have a very intense relationship. It isn't always nice words with these two. They like to do things a little differently in the bedroom. I was happy to see Cecilia had fire in her. She fought him and expressed exactly what she wanted. She never backed down with him. The only problem I had was the end of chapter 17 into 18, I felt like I missed something until I read 19. I almost laughed with how easy it was. Ryan redeemed himself though but every time he said she was safe with him, I found myself going back to that moment and laughing. It was obvious that she wasn't always safe. This was a good book despite all the tense moments.

Great beginning to a new series by Crimson Syn. I've been wondering about the Death Row Shooters and their President, Ryan Simon, since I started reading the Hellbound Lovers books. Ryan is not at all what I expected after catching a few glimpses of him throughout the HBL series. Here, we meet the raw, animalistic and savage Reaper who had to be cruel and heartless at times in order to save himself and his brothers. We meet the love of his life, Cecilia "Firefly" Cepedo, who Ryan had to send away for years in order to assure her safety and his own sanity. When they are reunited, holey moly, do the sparks fly and fires rage out of control with these two strong-willed, stubborn characters. The chemistry is off the charts but will that be enough to bring them back together and even more so, will their shared love and committment to each other and the club be enough to keep them together and save the Death Row Shooters from inside and outside pressures?
There are so really interesting and well-written characters throughout the book. I'm so looking forward to Poet's book, and I really want to know what the dynamics will be concerning Cookie, Rigger and Poe. The Chaplain is named The Vindicator?? Omg, what is his backstory?!! Can't wait to see what's next...

I voluntairly reviewed an advance copy of this book. Another amazing beginning to the Death Row Shooters MC series by Crimson Syn as only she can take her readers on another wild ride with this book. We even get to see some of the men from the Hellbound Lovers MC. Reaper will grab you soul as his story unfolds as the new President of the Death Row Shooters, now 6 years later he never stops loving Cecilia after leaving her with the Hellbound Lovers MC to keep her safe, he now wants her back and will do everything he can to have her with him even if he has to go up against the brotherhood of the Hellbound Lovers MC . Will Reaper live up to his reputation and take what is his? Will Cecilia give him and the MC lifestyle another chance after all of the abuse she suffered from her father and his men? These two have a chemistry and passion that explodes starting from the beginning of their relationship to present day. Danger and violence still surrounds the club and Cecilia. Will Reaper and Cecilia's love endure all of the obstacles that face them now? This emotional story will have you on edge from beginning to end. This is a must read and I highly recommend this book.

Omg!

From the beginning of an unlikely friendship turned into LOVE. All the trouble Reaper went through to get to this point in his life after losing everything closest to him. And out of nowhere a Firefly became his reason for living. After going through so much at a young age Cecilia lived with her fathers torture on the daily with the only light being Ryan. But once the shit hit the fan he knew what he had to do. Make a deal with the devil to keep her safe while he tracked the man down that had escaped. Six very long years she had been hidden from him and for those years he missed her with every single beat of his heart. But when the time came to collect his beloved he had obstacles once again. Could he keep her safe now that the threat was over. And was it really over? Wolf and Grayson had no intention of returning Cecelia to Ryan but he would take matters into his own hands. How will the outcome for his life with her go? Would she want to rekindle that love or continue with the new life she had started. Every page you will get closer but at what cost. So grab your copy of Reaper and enjoy the ride.

Reaper is an amazing read and I was glued to the pages. The story of Ryan and Cecilia is heartbreaking. With no family left Cecilia is forced to stay with her abusive father she never knew in the clubhouse of the Death Row Shooters MC. Not only is he violent, but he is also sexually assaulting her. When she falls under Ryan's protection he is determined to keep her safe at all cost, even when it means letting her go.
Ryan is an interesting character. Tough and ruthless on the outside but lonely and thoughtful. He is such a contradiction but is determined in his actions. When it comes to the people in his life he cares about he will take a life without a doubt. Cecilia is an amazingly strong woman, especially after all she has endured. She blossomed into a strong and independent woman who has no problems speaking her mind, especially when it comes voicing her opinions to Ryan. Together they are a force to reckon with, especially when it comes to justice.
"Reaper" is a great kick off to this new series by Crimson Syn. This book reads like a thriller and is quite the page turner. You become involved with the characters and their lifes. Most definitely a must read.

I have zero idea how to describe this story.

If I'm being completely honest, it didn't feel like anything happened worth noting in this book. We got some background and then we got to the actual story, but then the actual story didn't seem like a story.

There was one point where what was supposed to be the climax just randomly came in. That scene felt rushed and very unnatural. For the first portion of the book, the reader is just learning shit, then we get to the story, and then the climax. It didn't feel like there was an in between. Furthermore, the ending was insanely quick and I was left thinking to myself "wait what."

Also, Cecilia is weak as all hell when it comes to Ryan. She's all bark and no bite. That might frustrate some people. All in all, I didn't experience extreme displeasure at the book because the writing was done well and so it wasn't completely horrible. That's the only reason it got 2 stars. It also ends on a cliffhanger that's supposed to make you want the next book, but it felt weak.

2 stars is the final rating.
