” Playing it safe means a lifetime of regret “

I enjoyed reading this book on building the courage to face your fear and do the leap you have been putting off for too long.

- When you are living a life that seems comfortable, but still wonder if there is something else for you.
- When you are deeply bored, and miserable, but frozen by the fear of what people will think, or what will happen in you fail.
- When you know what you want, deep down, but you are too scared of the risks that come with moving…

The mechanisms of why so many people choose to stay in their same unsatisfying state because of the fear of the unknown is fascinating. Or should I say, why people choose not to choose, and passively let other make the decision for them.

This book may be the one that leads you into finally take the action you desperately want and need, and change your life.

What holds you back is FEAR. the UNKNOWN, and JUDGEMENT. Don’t wait until you think you’re in the right frame of mind to make changes. Execute now.

1. Know yourself. Define your Core values and life’s philosophy.
2. Release the noise. What are your limiting beliefs holding you back? Take inventory of people, environment, stimuli taking up space in your life that don’t serve your cause.
3. Light your life on fire. Find flow by pairing your purpose, skills, passions and interests with a market you want to serve. Craft a clear specific statement that helps channel your energy. Be bold.
4. Crafting the vision. Define how your leap looks like, the FEELINGS it creates for you, and WHY it matters. Believe in that vision deeply with every part of your being. Let it direct all of your actions.
4. Embrace your moment. Seize the adventure and commit to being open to opportunities and connections that emerge.

TYPES OF LEAPS:
1. Business leap. If you lost purpose, commitment, became stagnant and are drifting instead of thriving. Reconnect with your purpose and create a lasting impact!
2. Physical leap. Fitness is fundamental to your ability to thrive. If you deviated from good healthy habits and lost vitality, change your physicality and health os it becomes a catalyst for growth and unleash your potential.
3. Spiritual leap. It can be difficult to find energy to reflect, meditate, and think deeply about what’s important in life. Commit to disconnect from everything around to restore your mind and uncover new insights that will guide your forward.
4. Connection leap. Life is about love and connection. They’re the most important drivers of happiness and fulfillment leading to success in other areas. Don’t let your relationship fade and seek a place where you love boldly and forge authentic, meaningful connections and relationships with those who matter most.

-Set 90 day targets that force you to dive in, make high priority moves, and set aside the busywork that gets in your way.
Five steps:
1. Pick your ONE THING. Identity one outcome to achieve. It should be aligned with your dream.
2. Set 3 progress GOALS. Implement 3 processes into your daily routine to keep on track with the outcome goal.
3. Reverse engineer your FIRST 4 WEEKS. Map out ACTIONS steps and what need to happen to ensure their completion.
4. Fill your time. Schedule time to focus and work on the HIGH-PRIORITY work to attain the goal.
5. Identify one action that you need to take each day. Select one NON-NEGOTIABLE action to accomplish each day and complete ir.

I almost put this book down on account of the first chapter or two. However, I'm glad that I pushed through because the middle portion of this book is quite good. I really appreciate the author breaking everything down not just in theory and also not exclusively into steps like a textbook but breaking down an idea behind something and then the steps to accomplish this thing and finally a summary with lots of steps and summaries in order to achieve whatever the chapter is talking about. All in all, I have read several books of this particular genre and I found this one informative and practical.
