IF: Gods and Monsters

Rate this book
Part III of the extraordinary IF saga, a series that's "fabulous, imaginative and magical!"

As their journey through the Boundarylands continues, Cole Slawson and his friends are beginning to discover the truth of the danger that lurks within the heart of imagination. The Royal’s power is growing ever stronger, and his desire to destroy the children increases every moment. But the travelers can’t focus on the dangers of the Pinch just yet—there are gods and monsters in the Boundary, and they’ll have to fight for their lives if they want to see their journey through to the dark heart of the land.

But when the group becomes separated in the spinning and infinite imaginary realm, they’re left weaker and more vulnerable than ever. Their enemies are circling, the Royal is reaching, and the children are realizing that they’re a part of something much bigger—and much more dangerous—than they ever could have imagined.

Amazing!

Again, I’m not disappointed. I loved this book and the addition of Haberdash and the Greek Gods. All the characters are so well developed, and I can’t wait to see what happens with Polly and the other kids.

Dark and darker

What began as something that felt like a light fairy tale has become a dark and dangerous adventure! Positively frightening and delightful!
