This is the account of how (humanoid) aliens save a bunch of people from a catastrophic asteroid impact by projecting them 100 years further in time. We follow several groups of people until they finally come together somewhere in Australia.
The story flows pleasantly and is surprisingly relaxing to read (Apart from some strange comments, like the LGBT community being the work of some dark telepathic race and the fact that the aliens simply let the asteroid smash into earth without preventing it because earth was too crowded for their taste, which made me frown a bit).
All in all a nice read and a good, surprising ending.
