Lexis is a single mom who works 3 jobs and is raising a son while balancing life. She’s a homeowner, an upstanding Middleburg citizen and someone who advocates for what she believes is right and true.
To say that Bryan and Lexis are HOT HOT HOT together would be an understatement. When these two finally get together, holy moly!!!
This short tale follows their story from introduction to HEA. Possession is the second book in the Blue Line series by Brandy Ayers. I have read a few of Ms. Ayer’s books and they get better with each new release. I think this is my favourite out of all the books I have read so far. This is a quick, easy, red hot read. This story had so much happen in a short amount of time- but it flowed smoothly and never seemed rushed or like I was missing out on anything. It’s a contemporary romance that has mystery, suspense, action, passion, drama, sizzling HOT sex scenes and sexy men in uniform- and who doesn’t love a drop dead sexy man in uniform?
Bryan McCoy is a Police Officer working at the Middleburg Police Station. He loves his job and takes his oath ‘to serve and protect’ very seriously. There is only one thing he loves as much as his job, and that’s women. Ever since he discovered sex as a teenager, he has slept his way through a large portion of the female population in Middleburg. He’s the stations playboy, known for hooking up with a different woman every night.
He enjoys his lifestyle and had no plans to change; that’s until he is put on traffic duty in a residential neighbourhood, where complaints have been made about speeding vehicles driving dangerously through the streets. Bryan is sent to issue tickets and show a police presence in the area. He considers it an easy assignment, issue the tickets and get back to real cases- until he lays eyes on the sexy complainant. She steals his breath away, he can’t get his mind off her or what he’d like to be doing with her…. he has to find a way to make her his. He’ll just keep coming back until he can convince her.

The story is superb, so well written- bringing so many elements together brilliantly; the story cleverly invades your senses and becomes so enticing that you’ll lose track of the real world and get completely wrapped up in what’s happening in the story. The characters are really wonderful and very likeable- I connected to them and the story immediately. The chemistry really sizzled off the pages and when Bryan and Lexis get together….WOW WOW WOW!!!
This can be read as a standalone, but the other book is really good and as the characters from the first book make an appearance in this book also, I really recommend reading Reckless Conduct first.

Possession by Brandy Ayers a thrilling five-star read, this is the second book in the Blue Line Series, and what a second book, I only wish it was longer, I can’t wait for the next book in the series, the books are based around the officers who work at the Middleburg Police Station. This book focuses on one of the Officers. Officer Bryan Coy who loves to protect and serve his community, and certainly isn’t as coy as his surname would suggest. Bryan has certainly had his fair share of buckle bunnies, that is until he gets assigned a duty all the officers think is a waste of time. Traffic duty as one woman calls regularly to complain about people speeding through the neighbourhood as a short cut. They give the tickets and keep her quiet and it’s an easier job. Until Officer Coy sees the woman going to grab something from her car one morning, suddenly the buckle bunnies lose their shine, and Officer Coy has one lady on his mind.
The lady who likes to complain a lot is none other than Lexis Johannes, she has a reason to keep complaining as she needs to keep her little boy safe, he is her main priority in life. Dating and men are not something she has thought of since she got pregnant with her little boy, until she sees Officer Coy at her curb every morning, keeping her and her boy safe. That alone makes her see him differently. Seeing him differently scares the life out of her, but in the end she may need to let him in to keep her safe, as he has sworn to protect and serve his community and with the trouble that is moving in to the neighbourhood she may have no other choice.
This is a thrilling read, its passionate and caring and sucks you deep, its hot and heavy but in a very sensual manner rather than just overt and passionless. It’s hot and heavy and full of content that is suitable for over 18s only.

This is the second book I have read from this author and she keeps on surprising me. This is the second book to the Blue Line series. You could read this book as a stand alone. I would read the first book since those characters are also in this story. I read the first book and I thought that book was hot but I stand corrected. This book and couple will set you on fire. This is a short story but it is still just as addictive. I read this book in only one sitting.
This is book is about officer Bryan Coy. He is known as the playboy in his station. He would go to his favorite bar and pick up a different woman every night. He was a guy that was not ready for any type of a romantic relationship. He ends up getting the short end of the stick when he gets an assignment to a crap job. He has to set up speed traps in a neighborhood where a woman continues to call in and complain.
He thinks this is going to be easy job until he meets the complainer Lexis. He immediately wants her to be his. Lexis gives him feelings he has never felt before. Will this playboy change his ways or will he always be the playboy? Will Lexis give him a chance or will he walk away broken hearted for the first time?
Lexis Johannes is a single mother to her little boy. Her son is her whole world. She has three jobs just so she can make his life perfect. She does not need a man in her life. She thinks her life is going perfectly until she meet the hot officer Coy. When she first sees him she feels this connection that scares her. He is hot but he is also a sweet guy. She does not know what to do with this officer. He keeps on showing up even after they solved the speeding problem. She also finds out that she just got new neighbors that give her a creepy feeling but why? Will she fit another person in her already busy life or will she let this office walk away forever?
I loved this book. I fell in love with Lexis and you will too. She is a strong and beautiful woman that protects her child at all costs. She also gives Bryan a run for his money which I loved. Bryan is a hot cop that loves to protect as well. He also deep down has a softer side to him. This book had me hooked on the first page. This author knows how to suck you in her books. She puts in the perfect amount of details. There is some very hot scenes in this book that made me blush. I can not wait until the next book of this awesome series.

The story is the second in the Blue Line series and follows the lives of Bryan Coy and Lexis Johannes and how this truly alpha male gets tamed by the strong single mother.
Bryan has been playing speed cop for almost three weeks but whenever the assignment comes up he is the first to request it, not really because of the speeders along this road, well he cares or he would not be doing his job but there is a gift at the end of it which he looks forward too. She is a goddess in her own right and Bryan waits patiently for ever a glimpse of this stunning women.
Lexis has complain dozens of times about the speeding cars along her road and is feeling her name is mud in the police station but they have listened to her and place a police car at the end of the road, the only thing is that she has been attracted to the hunky policeman. So she decides to get to him but with his reputation of being a ladies man will she be able to trust her heart by getting to know this hunky man.
Bryan has seen the woman of his dreams that’s why he continues to do the duty outside her house until one day she decides to be bold and approach him with a proposition of taking her out on a date. Bryan is always up for a challenge and after that great night Bryan is smitten and wants to make this woman his.
As the story goes on the drug ring becomes braver so when Lexis and her son are in danger will Bryan be able to recuse Lexis and her son in time. Will Lexis believe that her heart is safe with this man and will he love her conditionally? I love the way the author has expanded the character of Bryan and although he has had a rocky past his affection and respect for Chief Gallo who helped him become the man he is today is touching to read. The way he also tries to communicate with Lexis son knowing that he is deaf is truly brilliant and definitely an aww moment. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and carry on getting to know this blue line family.

His whole life changes after he meets a beautiful woman named Lexis Johannes, who lives on the street where Bryan is sent to monitor the speeding traffic problems in the mornings, and he ends up doing it for six months.
Bryan is a good looking young man, with auburn hair, dimples, and plenty of attitude. He has never had a difficult time getting the attention of the young women he has wanted to bed in the past, and his romantic history consists of one night stands, never wanting to settle down before meeting Lexis. When he sees her, he is instantly attracted to her, and makes it his mission to get her to go out with him. He even monitors her street on his own time, in the mornings before his work shift begins, just so that he can see her and be seen by her. In fact, one morning he is surprised when Lexis comes up to his police car and after reading his name badge says, “Hi, Officer Coy. So are you?” Bryan says, “Am I what?”, and Lexis says, “Coy?”. Bryan then says, “Not at all. I'm forward. Very forward. Want to marry me?”.
Lexis is a strikingly sexy and beautiful woman, with long blond hair and tattoos. She is also a single mother to her 5 year old son, Ashton. Ashton's father is out of the picture and has been since Lexis told him that she was pregnant. It seems that as soon as she told him, he moved out and Lexis has never seen him again. Ashton was born deaf, but had a cochlear implant when he was just under 3 years old. Lexis works three jobs to support their little family.
I really enjoyed this book! It was very easy to read, especially if you enjoy a sexy, romantic story. I also enjoyed Brandy Ayers writing style because it just felt like she was telling a story about her good friends, and how they flirted, and the flirting led to something more exciting. The characters were a lot of fun, too. I really liked both of the main characters a lot, and felt as if they could be my friends if they weren't fictional. I definitely want to read the first book in the Blue Line Series and the following books, too.

I also enjoyed Brandy Ayers writing style because it just felt like she was telling a story about her good friends, and how they flirted, and the flirting led to something more exciting. The characters were a lot of fun, too. I really liked both of the main characters a lot, and felt as if they could be my friends if they weren't fictional. I definitely want to read the first book in the Blue Line Series and the following books, too.

Possession by Brandy Ayers, is book 2 in her Blue Line series. I must say “If you like hot men in uniform doing naughty things to strong, smart women, this is the series for you.” It was a quick read, I couldn’t put it down. While the number of pages is short, the story line is well written and flows smoothly.
In this story we get a bit more on Officer Coy and his job. From what we’ve read in the first book we know that he’s a ladies man and doesn’t care what others think. In this book we get to see why there’s a change in his “womanly ways”. What the other officers think of as a pain in the rear duty, he thinks otherwise. That duty is beyond the best thing for him. He doesn’t mind keeping the neighborhood safe from those speeding, because while doing it he gets to see the lady who has him all kinds of dazed.
Lexis Johannes, is your average single mother; working multiple jobs to keep her son safe and healthy. That includes having an officer patrol her street in the mornings. Boy oh boy, does she enjoy it. Having that hot hunk there on the corner is more than she could want. One day she finds the courage to go out there and thank him for doing a great job. She finds herself more than attracted to him, but is so afraid to even think about a relationship. She’s been hurt and because of that is afraid to try again. Despite feeling the need of a man, she has her son to protect also. With Officer Coy she might get that protection they need, it’s just allowing herself to let go for a bit.
Will Lexis get over her fear and try to be more than acquaintances with Officer Coy? Or will she be a coward and just say thank you?
The next big question is: Will Officer Coy get to have a taste of this woman? It seems like an impossible task, but he tends to get what he wants and is willing to work for it.
I enjoyed this story and can’t wait for what’s next.

It's her life mission to do the best and be the best mother that she can be. Relationships and sex are a thing so far in the past. Her toy collection has nothing on the hot, sexy feeling that Bryan this man in uniform is making her feel.
I loved this book. This series is one I would recommend for an quick, sexy, hot read. Steamy hot scenes easy to I love Ms Ayers writing style. She would not stop complaining, but the reason for the complaints was definitely a good one. Even though the offenders have stopped he can not pull himself away and stop coming round. Most of the other officers give him grief but what they don’t know is that he would take this any day cause the woman in question has found a way into his heart. She just doesn’t know it yet.

Possession by Brandy Ayers is the second book in the Blue Line Series and it is absolutely amazing! Even though this is the second book you can still read it as a standalone, but I would recommend reading the first one, just to get a little background knowledge. Plus who doesn't love an amazing series? Possession was another 5 star read by Brandy Ayers!

One day he gets assigned to set up a speed trap outside of a woman's house, who complains ALL the time about people speeding through out her neighborhood. All he has to go is go over there, pretend to care and make the lady happy. Should be a piece of cake. Until he sees her, all it took was one look at her and he was hooked. But will she give him a chance?

Possession by Brandy Ayers is an absolutely fantastic book! It’s honestly the perfect short read. This is book two in Brandy’s Blue Line series; it’s sensual, sexy, steamy and so so hot. If you love a man in a uniform this is the perfect book for you, especially a man in a uniform who also loves everything about a woman. Bryan makes for the perfect book boyfriend.
Book two follows officer Bryan Coy and wonder woman Lexis Johannes. Lexis is a super busy mom, who has three jobs to support her little family and who doesn’t normally do anything for herself, until she finally gives in to Bryan and accepts to go on a date, and it turns out to be the best yet. Bryan is so thoughtful and strong and is fiercely protective of Lexis and her son. It was basically love at first sight for him, he was instantly attracted to her and the more he gets to know her the more he loves. Neither wants to admit their strong feelings toward one another because it’s been so little time but when you find the person you want to spend your life with you want it to start asap. Will their life’s obstacles get in the way or will they finally get there happily ever after?
This was my first book by Brandy Ayers and I was so pleased with it. There is so much detail and it had the perfect amount of steamy scenes and the story still had so much substance. I would definitely recommend this book and I can’t wait to continue this series with the third book - Intoxication.

and wasn’t lost or confused. I do plan on going back and reading the first one now
though because I enjoyed this.
Officer Bryan Coy has no trouble finding ladies to keep his bed warm, especially when
you count what they call “buckle bunnies”, but once he sees Lexis Johannes, he only
has eyes for her. They flirt back and forth for MONTHS, even teasing each other about
their names. She has a cute little boy too. They both work crazy hours. She has
THREE jobs to support her and her son. It’s been a super long time for her since she
was with a man. Like since before her son was born. Wow, talk about a dry spell.
When these two get together- BOOM! Sexy crazy fireworks. The dirty times are
described very well. But also, there are genuine feelings involved, and a real
connection. I love that Bryan cares about her kid and respects her too. And I like how
Lexis is confident and speaks her mind. There has been crime in the area and that
comes into play in the story, making things even more eventful.

HOT book. This was one of those books I don’t put down until I am at the very end. Didn’t take very long to read and it kept me captivated the whole entire time. This book is just a fun, sexy read and it made me laugh a lot.

Bryan has a new assignment to stop people from speeding through the stop sign in a neighborhood because a certain Lexis that was continuously complaining to the police department. Lexis Johannes was a beautiful woman and worked three jobs to support herself and her son. She did not date nor have time for dating. She was a devote mom and worked hard to pay the bills. Lexis was annoying to the police department but she was tired of people running the stop sign by her house. She had every reason to complain about the problem and she intended on putting a stop to it.

The story is well written. This story is about Bryan Coy and Lexis Johannes. Bryan is an officer. He is known as a playboy, always picking up a new woman anytime he goes out. But things change, one day Officer Coy gets a crappy assignment job, he is not looking forward to. During the job Bryan, sees a woman that grabs his attention. She is different from any other woman he has seen. Bryan just can't get the woman (Lexis) out of his head. But Lexis does not have time for a relationship. Lexis has put her whole life into taking care of her son. Lexis doesn't date, she doesn't go out or anything. Her world, is her son. But when Lexis meets Bryan, she starts second guessing herself, she starts feeling something for him. Lexis and Bryan have an instant connection. Bryan has never had feelings for a woman, like he has for Lexis. Bryan is great with Lexis' son, so she has trouble keeping up the fight, she has with herself. Bryan and Lexis are perfect together. Possession by Brandy Ayers is the second novel in the Blue Line Series. It is aa standalone novel and doesn’t have to be read as part of the series but it is a wonderful series and I recommend you reading the first novel. Possession is Bryan and Lexis story and how they come to fall in love with each other. There are some twist and the suspense is a wonderful thing. This is a wonderfully written romance novel that is full of the hot and steamy sex everyone fantasizes about but there is intrigue and laughter along with it. This novel is more than just a quick erotic romance novel to read because the characters make you stop and think. They seem almost real that they could be your friends or neighbors or someone walking down the street. Brandy Ayers is an extremely talented author who has created the most lovable series and characters that I have had the pleasure of reading and will continue to read whenever she releases a new book. Not only does she breathe new life into romance where it was once a don’t talk about it, don’t write about it time, to something that everyone wants to read. Her novels will make you laugh, cry and want to find your happily ever after just like the characters in her novels. Her novels can be steamy with the amount of sex and how she describes the sex so it isn’t recommended for anyone under the age of 18.

This is the second book in the Blue Line series by Brandy Ayers, but can be read as a stand alone. Possession is the story of a charming playboy police officer, Bryan Coy. Usually you would find Officer Coy at the Blue line Bar picking up buckle bunnies each day after work. He is a one night stand kind of guy, until one day he is assigned to watch a for speeders in front of a home where the woman complains about non-stop speeders and calls in everyday. All of the other officers don't like the assignment, but Officer Coy saw the woman one day and can't wait to start his day protecting her corner.
Lexis Johannes only wants to protect her child. He has been her whole life since the moment he was conceived and his deadbeat sperm doner left town. She sees Officer Coy outside her house everyday. One day she takes a cup of coffee to the officer. It is a love at first site moment on both sides, but she is weary of dating and makes Bryan wait six months for a first date. This would be Bryan's first date since his junior prom. He just new that he had to have a perfect date because he hew this lady was the one for him.
There has been an uptake in crime in the town of Middleburg. Will this get in their way of true love? This is a really good book with action, suspense and sizzling hot love scenes. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more from Ms. Ayers.

This is the second book in the Blue Line series by Brandy Ayers, but can be read as a stand alone. Possession is the story of a charming playboy police officer, Bryan Coy. Usually you would find Officer Coy at the Blue line Bar picking up buckle bunnies each day after work. He is a one night stand kind of guy, until one day he is assigned to watch a for speeders in front of a home where the woman complains about non-stop speeders and calls in everyday. All of the other officers don't like the assignment, but Officer Coy saw the woman one day and can't wait to start his day protecting her corner.
Lexis Johannes only wants to protect her child. He has been her whole life since the moment he was conceived and his deadbeat sperm doner left town. She sees Officer Coy outside her house everyday. One day she takes a cup of coffee to the officer. It is a love at first site moment on both sides, but she is weary of dating and makes Bryan wait six months for a first date. This would be Bryan's first date since his junior prom. He just new that he had to have a perfect date because he hew this lady was the one for him.

Author Brandy Ayers writes erotic romance. This book is for mature readers 18+. There are some very hot scenes and this book also contains adult language and situations. Drugs are heavily discussed as well due to the nature of the Male main characters profession.
Lexis is a single mom and works 3 jobs, she has done her all to make a good life for her son and nothing and noone is going to mess that up.
Bryan is a police officer and is smitten by Lexis. He has taken a traffic detail outside Lexis's home to keep her neighborhood from speeders, or so that is why most think he is parked on her road most days. When in actuality he has developed a major case of attraction.
Will Lexis let her guard down and allow Bryan to become more than just the man protecting and serving the public?
Very good book. Stand alone in itself, but it is a great follow up to the first book, Reckless Conduct. I hope there are many more books in the Blue Line series. There is nothing hotter than a man in uniform.

You will love how the author has created these characters that you can relate to and how they relate to each other will amaze you. Possession is Book 2 in the Blue Line series by Brandy Ayers, and is my absolute favourite so far.
Lexis is a sassy and independent woman raising her young son, Ashton. Bryan is the hot police officer tasked with keeping her neighbourhood safe. The minute they set eyes on one another, they are instantly smitten. But Lexis is no easy catch, and she really makes Bryan work for her affections. Their coming together were like the planets aligning, and everything felt whole and perfect in their world. I loved Lexis’ sassy sense of humour, and I really loved Bryan’s sexy, dominant and witty personality.
Possession was action packed, never lacking in drama and ridiculously entertaining. There were a couple of hair raising bits in the story, which only ramped up my reading experience, taking it from stunning to sublime. I was entirely enraptured with Bryan and Lexis. I could not get enough and almost cried when it was over.
Possession is a sinfully sensual, racy and funny short story that i did not want to end. 5 stars for this crazy good read and this crazy talented author

Welcome back to the Blue Line series where we meet Officer Bryan Coy aka the Middleburg playboy. When Officer Coy is assigned to set speed traps outside of the home of the woman that complains non stop about speeders in her neighborhood. He is annoyed but when he sees her he can not get her out of his head. Only she will not give him a chance; that's ok he does not give up easily.
Lexis Johnson has been burned in the past and that is exactly where she plans to leave men, all men. Officer Coy keeps asking her out, he is cute but she knows about his reputation. These days all Lexis is worried about is her little boy. She has grown accustomed to seeing Officer Coy outside of her house and he keeps trying to take her out. “Possession” by Brandy Ayers is the second novella in the Blue Line series and is a scorching hot 5 stars read that will immediately pull readers in from the first line.
I love this series! The author packs in steamy scenes, humor and a plot without everything feeling like a jumbled mess. This may not seem like much, but in a novella, that is quite a feat because usually the characters get lost somewhere along the way. The characters in “Possession” are strong, well-developed and carry the story. The alternating points of view lend that extra something by allowing the readers to get to know them more by their thoughts and actions and not just being told by the author. I cared about Bryan and Lexis and rooted for their HEA.
Each book in the series can be read as a standalone and won’t interfere with the overall story arc. But once you pick up one, you will be one-clicking the others!

Possession ~Blue Line Book Two written by Brandy Ayers

Even though this is a short read it has so many fantastic elements. I absolutely love and recommend this series. I'm hoping book three keeps us in touch with previous characters. I'm not ready to let go of Bryan, his dimples, humor or his commanding sexy talk.
Officer Bryan Coy was known around town to be a player. He hooked up for a few dates/nights and moved on to the next. He never was serious or even entertained the idea of a long lasting relationship.
Lexis Johannes was a single mom to Ash. Lexis worked three jobs to keep Ash in a good school and safe home. She hasn't been with another man since she found out she was pregnant with Ash and his father walked away from both of them.
Bryan met Lexis while on duty and she was unlike any of the other woman he knew. She didn't fall for his looks, charm or seem to be intimidated by him. She was strong, confident and could give as good as she received. That intrigued him and made him want to get to know her more.

Possession: Blue Line Book 2 by Brandy Ayers this book was a 5 star book for me. I found that I love the way Brandy Ayers writes and the characters are just awesome! So in Possession Blue Line book Two we meet Officer Bryan Coy (yes this is a wonderful name for a cop!) Officer Bryan is known as somewhat of a playboy in his town. Always has a lot of “bunnies” waiting for him. And he is happy about that until he gets a look at Lexis Johnannes. Lexis is concerned about the speeders in her neighborhood. This is why Officer Coy is by her house in the first place. But once he sees her he doesn’t want to let her go. The problem is that lexis does not have time for anything crazy like dating or sex. She has a son who is her whole world. Can Bryan break down her walls and show her what she has been missing? Or will she turn him away and live her life like she has been which she was the way she liked it ..right?
This was a great steamy, sexy book! Insta-love, which is always a favorite with me. I could not help but love the characters. I really cannot wait for the next book!! This is my first book by Brandy Ayers even though this is book two it can be read as a standalone. I will be keeping an eye out for other books of Ayers since I enjoyed this book so much!

This was the first I've read from Brandy Ayers. It's the second in the series, although it can be read as a standalone.
The story is suspenseful, steamy, and humorous at times. I loved the way they met - him staking out the street outside her home after her traffic complaints, and then continuing to come back on the pretext of traffic watch, but really just coming to see her every day. Bryan is a hot Alpha cop who has women falling all over him until he meets Lexis. She's a single mom, has been burned in the past and isn't in a rush to start a relationship with someone new so Bryan has to work hard to win her over. All around a good read, but wish it were a bit longer. I'm looking forward to reading the others in the series, to find out more about the underlying story thread about the crime in Middleburg.

Easy not so much not after he sees her, running from her house to grab something out of the car. But that brief glimpse changes something inside Officer Coy. Now he can’t get her out of his head or his heart.

I felt the characters were well developed and I truly liked them. I also felt the story was not rushed for a love at first sight. This is book two, I have not read book one but I plan to do that in the near future.
