I’m a huge fan of anything paranormal and I always have been. I get super excited whenever they have those Twilight Zone Marathon days and anything ghost or vampire related will always attract my attention.
My interests are varied but aside from writing, I’m most excited about traveling. I’m extremely fortunate to have been able to live in England and Scotland, both places really having a profound effect on my books.
Thanks for checking out my books and I hope you enjoy them! Happy Haunting!
After a surprise attack on the castle Bryn and Sinjin are out for blood . The castle is reeling after the attack and Bryn and Sinjin are off to find the stronghold and bring them down . So off the to the land that is protected by Fae magic where Bryn, Damek, Sinjin and Dareau might not like the admission to the land . It could be more then they bargained for . The gang is back Bryn and Sinjin are back and honestly Sinjin is as sexy as ever and wh find out more about him . I have loved him since i first met him and was so excited to see him grow and become such a great leading man in his own series . You will love him and want to either climb him like a spider monkey or slap the smug smile off his face . Bryn well what can we say about Bryn she is strong and sassy and also kick butt. I think she comes into her own in this book . She really takes control and really lays down some butt kicking . I truly liked these characters individually but when they are together they are a hot couple I have liked all the books that this author has written but honestly I will say that i had trouble getting into this book . I felt like i just couldn't get into them at the beginning of the book . I kinda felt that there was something missing just couldn't put my finger on it . Once I got into the book I couldn't put it down . The author took us on a fun filled adventure with some smexy moments that will keep you reading . You will laugh and cry and be on the edge of your seat . Over all I did enjoy the book and love the characters . If you want a fun read check it out .
This author’s books continue to be exciting and excellent. In Book 5, the battle is still going on as the enemy has attacked the castle. Things are not going well for Jolie’s side. Only a dozen of their soldiers were still standing, and even those looked like they might drop to the ground any minute. As they continued on, Brynn noticed that the hybrids seemed to be getting easier to kill. Their faces were ashen. Yet looking around, just because of their sheer numbers, they were going to win. Did that mean they had not found the traitor? Were Jolie, Rand, Dureau, and Sinjin all predestined to die?
Someone grabbed Brynn’s neck and suddenly she lost control. “The Flame,” as some called it, was a great and rare power among the Fae, and passed down to Brynn from her mother. Flames erupted from her skin and attacked anyone near her. But this time, the flames turned blue and she realized she had control of it! She could use and direct it onto her weapons. When she lost control again and the fire built up inside of her, she ran into middle of the enemy forces, taking down even more of their numbers.
Now they have to go on the offensive. Based on Bryn’s dream vision, she leads Bryn, Sinjin, Dureau, and Damek to a land ruled by Fae magic. Another adventure is starting. There is so much going on in this book! The story line is fast-paced with the many twists and turns which we have come to expect. Hopefully Sinjin and Bryn will find their HEA.
Bryn is still dealing trying to deal with the flame. Her affections for Sinjin are becoming more evident. When Kinloch Kirk is attacked by Luce, it the flame that helped them win. Due to a spell, no one can get in or out. Bryn has a vision of a place in america, Mercedes and Mathilda also inform them that they have gotten the same information. So Bryn, Sinjin, Damek and Chevalier go to the fae portal to get special permission to travel through to America. This will come at a high cost to one of them. Sinjin decides to play the cost, he will lose his most defining characteristic. As Sinjin is coming to terms with his new reality, they end up in Louisana, where they met Chevalier sister and make a deal with a someone they should have not trusted. They will save lives of many, at a cost to themselves that they don't even know about. There are lot a great moments in this book, the action, the humor, the moments of Sinjin and Bryn, the bonding moments of the characters, the great details of the places they are. This a a great continuation to the story of Sinjin and Bryn. I highly recommend this book, if you haven't read this series, go ahead and do so. You will not regret it. This author takes you through a great ride
I received a free copy of this book, this my honest review and opinion
What happens when the vampiric Lord Protector of Kinloch Kirk has to trade in his vampire status for the greater good? The Suitor, Book 5 in the Bryn and Sinjin series from H.P. Mallory, explores just that.
Sinjin Sinclair, devilishly handsome, debonair, and supremely sexy takes great pride in his role as the immortal Lord Protector over the Queen of the Underworld and her royal family. But when he chooses to temporarily lose his vampiric abilities, he must come to grips with his limitations as a human. To say that this throws him off balance would be an understatement.
Still, his deep attraction to Lady Bryn remains as strong as ever, as well as his rivalry with her childhood friend, “fae dandy” Dureau Chevalier. Will he be able to win her affections, or will his new humanity deprive him of that which he longs for most of all?
I so enjoyed this story! The love triangle of Bryn, Sinjin, and Dureau kept me reading to try to figure out who will win her heart in the end. That, coupled with several intense action scenes, makes this installment in the Bryn and Sinjin series a must read.
Sinjin joins Bryn, Dureau and Damek on their quest to corner Luce in his own camp. While passing through the fae "Crossroads", one of them must make a sacrifice. Sinjin is willing to do anything to protect Bryn, even if it means temporarily giving up his vampire abilities.
Bryn is seeing a whole new side to Sinjin. It makes her feelings finally come to the surface. Bryn suspects she is falling for Sinjin, but is still unsure of the depth of her feelings for Dureau. Most important is the mission before them. They have to stop Luce before he destroys everyone near and dear to her.
Author H.P. Mallory spins a tale that grips you and doesn't let you go. THE SUITOR is the fifth, but not final, installment in her action-packed BRYN AND SINJIN series. It's been a consistently entertaining series. The characters are complex, there's lot of twists and turns, and of course, there's the love triangle factor. I can't wait to read more about Bryn, Sinjin and Dureau. I also look forward to learning Damek's fate.
After the Kirk was attacked and the attacker’s defeated a block of sorts was placed around it and nothing could get in or out. Plans are made especially after Bryn has a prophetic dream. A crew is chosen to find the infamous place and many changes will occur. Sinjin will sacrifice to enable them to travel special ways to get to earth. This is an excellent story with many twists and some interesting surprises? Bryn will learn more about being a Flame which will be excellent for their trip. I highly recommend this book and the series! They very well written and will keep you attention as the characters change and grow!
This one is tough for me to review. H.p. Mallory for me is usually a five star read. I love her writing style and characters. For me, this one didn’t draw me in as I expected. It felt like something was missing. I can’t put my finger on what though. Clearly the way it left off there’s more to come for these characters. I am curious of where’s it going to go now. I hope the next one has more feeling, more emotion, you know just draws me in from page one. While it wasn’t a bad read in the slightest, I just know from other books from this author that the connection that she makes between the characters and the reader just wasn’t there for me.
The Byn and Sinjin saga continues as the battle at at Kinlock Kirk ends but the war is progressing. In order to find Luce, Damek, Dureau, Bryn and Sinjin go on a journey to rescue fae females unwillingly used for breeding and to address Luce. Sinjin makes sacrifices for the good of others and continues to pine for Bryn, who seems less torn between her affections for Sinjin and Dureau. I love the character of Sinjin and Bryn breaks my heart but this slow beginning to their romance is so frustrating. I so want them to find happiness together.
I had a hard time rating this one because I've been frustrated with this series. Book 4 felt like its main purpose was to set up book 5. I did like this one better, I felt like it was more of a whole piece of the story, but it felt like it ended too soon. It almost feels like we are receiving a long book one portion at a time. I don't like that. But, clearly, the fact that I'm annoyed that the story paused means I'm enjoying the story itself. My rating is as conflicted as Bryn's feelings for Sinjin. :D
So, the beginning is the battle that was started in the last book. There is so much going on and you need to pay attention. Then a handful of them go on a mission and some crazy stuff happens that you need to read about! I highly recommend this and any of HP 's other series!!
Rooting for Sinjin and hoping he comes out on top (so to speak). Will be interested to see how he ends up after his interactions with the Fae. Fingers crossed for good things.
This book starts off strong with an attack against the queen and her family. From there, you go on an adventure to try and catch Luce off guard. This book has many twist and turns to keep you on your feet!! An ABSOLUTE must read!!
The best so far out of this series! This installment from the Underworld is EVERYTHING!!! I cannot say it enough, Sinjin is my fav! He's so quirky and gives zero F's about anyone's opinions towards him.
