I remember the lights.
I remember I wanted to photograph them, the way the red and blue splashed across his cold, emotionless face. But I knew even if my feet could move from the place where they had cemented themselves to the ground and I could run for my camera, I wouldn’t be able to capture that moment.
I had trusted him, I had loved him, and even though my body had changed that summer, he’d made sure to help me hold on to who I was inside, regardless of how the exterior altered.
But then everything changed.
He stole my innocence. He scarred my heart. He took everything I thought I knew about my life and fast-pitched it out the window, shattering the glass that held my world together in the process.
I remember the lights.
The passionate, desperate, hot strikes of red. The harsh, cruel, icy bolts of blue.
They symbolized everything I endured that summer.
And everything I would never face again.

Wren Ballard is trying to find herself.
She never expected to be divorced at twenty-seven, but now that the court date has passed, it’s official. The paperwork is final. Her feelings on it aren’t.
Spending the summer in a small mountain town outside Seattle is exactly what she needs. The peaceful scenery is a given, the cat with the croaky meow is a surprise, but the real kicker? A broody neighbor with nice arms, a strange reputation, and absolutely no interest in her.
Anderson Black is perfectly fine being lost.
He doesn’t care about the town’s new resident — he’s too busy fighting his own demons. But when he’s brought face to face with Wren, he can see her still-fresh wounds from a mile away. What he doesn’t see coming is his need to know who put them there — or his desperation to mend them.
Sometimes getting lost is the way to find yourself. Sometimes healing only adds a new scar. And sometimes the last place you expected to be is exactly where you find home.

What makes you happy?
That was the question Emery Reed asked me the day we met, and I couldn’t give him a single answer. I could have said my dog, or my books, or yoga — but I just stared.
And then, I got in his car.
It was crazy to take a road trip with a stranger, but after years of standing still, he was my one-way ticket to a new life, and I wasn’t going to miss it.
We shared the same space, the same car, the same hotel room — and still, we were strangers. One day we’d be laughing, the next, we wouldn’t speak. Emery was surrounded by impenetrable walls, but I wanted in.

An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.”
She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a hopeless romantic and found herself bursting at the seams with love stories she was eager to tell.
When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, planning her next adventure, or pole dancing (yes, you read that right). She enjoys live music, traveling, hiking, yoga, spending quality time with her family (fur babies included) and soaking up the sweetness of life.

I was so excited for this box set to come out so I could read the extended epilogues. Each of these books are beautiful and I’ve read them multiple times, so getting to read more of their stories was wonderful. Kandi Stiener’s writing is amazing as always!
Sigh. I love a good happy ending, but this is the best. My favorite type of endings usually consist of engagements, marriage and babies, babies are always my favorite and Kandi delivers all three of these.
Weightless is my favorite of these three and I can’t explain it really, except for that it’s just perfection. Revelry, that was a book I needed when I was going through a tough time and in that book so are Wren and Anderson but they fall together and show us that even in hard times, love prevails. On the Way to You was also released at another tough time and that one shows us that even during your darkest days, there is always someone fighting for you, always someone in your corner and hoping to see the smile they love so much appear on your face.
Each of these books hold a special place in my life for different reason and I was over the moon when Kandi said she was releasing an extended epilogue and I honestly could not have thought of a better way to end these books.
Loved these books the first time around but oh my epilogues! So good!!! I felt almost like I was stealing them for the price they’re being offered at! Highly recommended!!!
I bought this because I needed more. More Weightless. More Revelry. More On the Way to You.
I have previously read, devoured, and fallen head over heels for each of these novels. I couldn't ignore the bonus epilogue. I needed them. Not having them was like a cancer left to fester, I'm glad I made the choice to act. The bonus epilogue left me happy and smiling but most of all they left me thinking about these wonderful stories all over again.
Below are my reviews for each story:
Weightless- This book will connect with a lot of people. The issues that Natalie faces are unfortunately a familiar set for many.
Natalie has just be unceremoniously dumped by her 2 year boyfriend and very good friend. Not only did he kick her to the curb, but he has a much skinnier version as his new sidekick. Skinnier and bitchier.
At a very low point in her life Natalie makes a rash decision that becomes one of the greatest of her life. Now she just needs to follow through and go to the gym.
When she does she meets her trainer who will have a very large impact on her waistline, her confidence, and her future.
It's a struggle for confidence. It's hard to fight the mean girls. Nat is learning more and more about herself and those she calls friends. Too bad what she's learning about them isn't exactly confidence boosting.
Rhodes, her trainer, is teaching her to value herself. She is getting there but she's falling faster for the gorgeous, brooding man. His life is no picnic and they live on opposite sides of the tracks. He can't let her in, she won't stop pushing.
It can only end in disaster...but for who?
The idea behind the title gave me goose bumps. I'm not being corny or dramatic, it honestly made me uncomfortable and happy at the same time. It wasn't the only time either. It's an incredible story and I'm glad I had the opportunity to read it.
Revelry-
If you have ever had doubts about yourself, your life, your relationships, you know where Wren is coming from. You might not have had the same journey but you understand the pain.
If you have ever experienced loss, you can understand the struggle that Anderson experiences. You can feel the numb, the hopelessness, and know that it's real.
But if you have never read a Kandi Steiner book, be prepared for your throat to form large lumps, for your eyes to water, and parts of your heart to break off with no hope of them being returned. You have been warned.
Broken is a term used casually to describe someone who has had a life altering experience. But broken is harsh, unforgiving, and not always fixed. It hurts my heart to call people broken, I prefer bent. Wren and Anderson have been bent to almost breaking point...or have they?
Life always has some twists to throw at us and this summer looks like it will be filled with curveballs. With strong support, a new outlook, and freedom Wren may just find what she's looking for. Or she may find what she's not looking for!
On the Way to You-
I decided this is the only way to review it. So here goes:
On the Way to You I enjoyed the blissful ride. I eagerly awaited all you held inside. I was foolish and optimistic, You came off sadistic.
It's not your fault and most won't understand, but without you there is no plan. Consumed with all I thought I knew, I never realized I was On the Way to You.
Once I was found... Never having known I was lost. It's hard to tell when the words aren't there, impossible to spread it all bare.
I think I get in now, but I will never know, if I was lost, then who let go...
Great box set of three separate, standalone novels, all totally different and filled with plenty of emotion
WEIGHTLESS
The two protagonists here were quite young (18 and 22), but they had a refreshing maturity about them that helped make this such an enjoyable read. Each of them had their own issues of darkness, which is what makes this couple work together so well. And as this author so eloquently put it, "SOMETIMES, THE DARKNESS IS WHERE YOU FIND YOURSELF."
While reading this amazing story, there were so many times I felt like someone was actually squeezing my heart and I was on the verge of tears often. It's not your average romance. There is a bit of a twist and mystery, which also adds to the story. I wasn't sure how it could ever be possible that these two would be able to get to a HEA, which is why I didn't want to put it down and found myself reading way past my bedtime.
IMO, the writing is good, and there were many lines that tugged at my heart, such as:
" I lived inside a passion I never knew existed with a man I never saw coming. Rhodes was an unanticipated thunderstorm, and I danced in his rain. " WOW!
REVELRY
A beautiful story about two protagonists needing to find themselves, each being lost for a different reason.
Recently divorced Wren is feeling guilty for pursuing her dreams, which are not supported by her husband. She takes a break, leaving the city for the summer, in hopes of figuring out her path in life and finding herself. She meets Anderson, who is also a lost soul, carrying his own guilt. Their chemistry is palpable, but are the obstacles too much or the timing just not right for them?
A great read about learning that you should be loved for everything that makes you you and not for what the one who supposedly loves you thinks you should be. It's about finding love when you're not even sure it exists.
ON THE WAY TO YOU
Taking a cross country road trip with a complete stranger? Not very smart and probably not very realistic, but boy does this story work. Cooper and Emery are amazing characters. Cooper is struggling to get out of her difficult life. She knows what she wants, but finding the path to her goal is not easy. Enter Emery, a complete stranger, who offers her the means to her escape. The opportunity is much too tempting not to take advantage.
They both have their issues, hers more physical, as well as a terrible childhood, his being his battle of fighting depression. Cooper, though young, is an amazingly strong, caring young woman. Will Emery, a good man down deep with a dark side, see that Cooper just might be exactly what he needs?
A beautifully written, emotional story that shows the struggles that those dealing with depression endure. This book is different and eye-opening and had me racing to find out its conclusion.
I’ve read many books by Kandi Steiner and have never been disappointed. They’re all different, and this is no exception. Loved it!
This entire box set is so good. Three separate, standalone novels, all totally different and all filled with plenty of emotion. And the bonus Extended Epilogues for each add to making this set a great value and deserving of 5 stars.
I loved all three books in this collection! Each had me crying, laughing, and smiling, all for my own reasons. Each one touched me personally, in one or more ways or another. And if you’ve read one or two, or even all three books before, this boxset has extended epilogues for all three!
Weightless, for instance, this one I had to almost talk myself into reading. Based on some reviews, I was wary, but I found that when I gave it a shot, and actually READ the story, it spoke to me on so many levels. I was absolutely balling while reading the extended epilogue - in a good way.
Revelry. This one I had read before but was very happy to read again, especially with the added extended epilogue. Again, this one had me crying and I’ll just leave this quote: “Maybe that’s what love was, giving someone the power to shatter you and trusting that they wouldn’t.”
On The Way To You. Wow, this one took me the longest to read. Over four months, in fact. Honestly, it was because of the underlying subject matter - depression. *TRIGGER WARNING* If talk of depression or suicide is one of your triggers, they are both in this book. I got through the beginning of this one just fine, even though the author has some foreboding snaked in throughout the story. As I got closer to the end, I found myself not even cracking open my Kindle for days or even weeks at a time, thinking I was not ready to find out what happens, but the author is very good at pulling you in and she finally did this past weekend for me. I just HAD to find out what happens.
Take a chance - buy this boxset and read all three books. One or more may find their way into your heart like all three did for me. I look forward to reading more from this author!
I only read Revelry out of the box set. I was not able to get the deal as it wasn’t available in my country. I enjoyed the summer feel of the book. I had a hard time with Wren’s character. Such. A. Hard. Time.
One of the problems I had was that a character calls her “Fashion Barbie” as an insult and I kind of felt like it fit. In the description of what she was was wearing it was always “and then she threw on some chunky wedges, heavy bangles, pleated yet casual shorts and paired it with a deep V tee in a blue that matched her eyes” ugh. Too. Much. She’s at a cabin. I get that her ex made her insecure and so did her Mom and that’s why she’s wearing full face makeup but the wardrobe descriptions are right out of a look book. She’s awkward. She wears the wrong things. It’s awful. It’s white privilege at its finest.
The other issue with Wren. She’s spent years of her life being verbally and emotionally abused by her ex-husband. This is evidenced by her recounting of some of their “discussions” and then by his appearance at the cabin in which he screams at her and almost kicks her cat! He’s horrible! And yet she goes on ad infinitum about loving him and how she will always love him. Girl, get some self respect. She even mentions him in the epilogue. So frustrating!
So yeah. Momma Von was too good for Wren. I’m glad Momma Von got hers though.
So yeah didn’t enjoy Revelry. Because Wren could NOT let her ex go. And too much attention was paid to her looks.
I love the Becker Brother series. Read that.

Bonus endings review: These made my heart so happy!! I laughed and smiled and awwed so much. When I first read all 3 stories I thought they were perfect and they didn’t need anything else. And then the bonus epilogues came out and they just made them all more perfect! I loved getting a glimpse into their happily ever afters. They were so well written and the cherry on top of these wonderful books.
Weightless review: This book is amazing!! At first I thought it was a typical bad boy/good girl romance but that huge twist. I was not expecting it. The writing, the characters, it's all phenomenal. Kandi Steiner's writing is a whole nother level. Another fantastic job well done!
On the Way to You review: What makes you happy? This book mentioned this question multiple times and it really brought light to the struggles people have with mental illnesses. Kandi Steiner brought us another heartbreakingly beautiful book and it was amazing. It was definitely an read in one sitting book because I was on the edge of my seat and couldn’t wait to finish it!
Revelry review: This was my first Kandi Steiner book and it was amazing. She is the Queen of angst and heartbreak and emotion. It was so good. I smiled and laughed and teared up. This book hooked me and made me want to keep reading her books.
Weightless: 5 stars This book hit me in the feels so darn hard! I absolutely loved the message that Kandi Steiner was trying to get across with Natalie and her body image issues. I fell madly in love with Rhodes and his unsuspecting charm and dedication. The pair were electric and left me feeling dizzy and smiling!
The dramatic twists and suspense left me feeling anxious and worried. I loved it and hated it. I couldn't put this book down and never wanted it to end, all at the same time. This is one of those books that changes you. It takes a piece of you when you set it back on the shelf. I'll forever be changed after reading this novel. It spoke to me on such a personal level and I'm so thankful to Kandi for writing such a profound character like Natalie and speaking the truth about women and their bodies, especially women who are not picture perfect and have more to grab onto.
Revelry: 4 stars Loved the setting of this story and now it played so well into the characters’ interactions and differing lifestyles.
I adored the heroine and her ability to find her happiness within herself and share her light with those who truly wanted to see it. She brought a little piece of the city to the woods and changed those she interacted with for the better!
I thought the author did an incredible job creating two completely hollow people, for vastly different reasons but kept them so honest and genuine. I will say the ending didn’t wow me and I’d wished there was just a little more to grasp onto to leave me feeling satisfied.
A truly sweet story! It was emotional, heartwarming, sexy, funny and broken. A perfect mash up of characteristics for a fantastic romance read!
On the Way to You: 4 stars Another incredible story by Kandi Steiner! This book was full of emotion, heartache, suffering, self loathing and hope. The content for both main characters was a little darker than usual for this author but I felt it really added to the emotional depth of the story. Both Cooper and Emery were broken and suffering but in very different ways. The entire read was spent peeling away the layers one by one until they were fully exposed to one another and at a major crossroads in their relationship.
The end of this book was heart breaking, soul crushing and tear jerking. Despite this, the author found a way to heal my wounds and bring me the HEA I so desperately needed from this couple. The dog was a damn good addition to the story too! I felt Kalo helped bring back some innocence and happiness to the read!
Weightless A beautiful and inspiring story of believing and learning to love yourself. I really loved Natalie and Rhodes' characters and how they healed each other in different ways. A great amount of angst in a book which I love! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Revelry Kandi Steiner is quickly becoming a new favourite author. In Revelry I once again fell in love with her characters. A beautiful story of 2 people finding their selves again and with that finding love in one another. A fabulous read and I loved the slowburn between Wren and Anderson. The bonus epilogue is perfect!!
On the way to You "What makes you happy?" Such a simple question but also a very powerful question. It definitely makes you question it and I loved this about the book. A very emotional read that has you thinking and feeling everything along with Cooper and Emery. A beautiful thought provoking story that I was hooked with from the beginning.
Weightless Rhodes & Natalie were an unlikely match that worked for them. A mystery behind the layers. Loved it!
Revelry I loved Anderson & Wren, who healed each other by their pain. So beautiful. Kandi knows how to tell a story and make you fall in love with these couples and the people who surround them.
On The Way To You Emery & Coopers story was such a great concept, strangers enjoying a lifetime trip together. I loved the journal entries. I didn’t love this story though, something was missing for me.
I loved ALL three extended epilogues. First time I read her work and I loved it. Definitely will read more of hers.
These were great reads! Weightless was a well written story of two misfits finding themselves and finding love. It also had some mystery and some suspense. I really enjoyed reading it. The characters were great. Revelry was also well written with good character development. The story wasn't as good, but still an enjoyable read. On the way to you was excellent! It was very well written. The author brought the characters to life. The story did the same. The two had barely been living at the beginning. It can be an inspirational read for someone suffering from depression, or an uplifting romance for anyone else.
This was a really sweet love story that including love, growing up, being independent, letting oneself be loved, being strong, being brave, and so much more. It really filled my heart.
The extended epilogue for this was great. I was scared, hanging on the edge of my seat and hoping for a happy ending.
Weightless
Most of this book was very slow. I also felt there were unhealthy behaviors displayed in a positive manner; such as excessive exercise and starving oneself well under stress. I did like seeing the characters grow and build confidence for themselves which I thought were very good themes to capture. The end of the book really picked up and I really enjoyed it even though I had predicted it pretty early in the book. Even though the book wasn't great I am very glad I read it.
The extended epilogue for this was great. It made me like the characters so much more. I could really relate to this plot and it really filled my heart.
On the Way to You
What an amazing book. This book did such a good job showing a character with depression and what they need. This book will stay with me for such a long long time. What makes you happy? We need to focus more on learning that from people then “What do you do?” Bc your job doesn’t define you.
The extended epilogue was great. Everyone has doubts and to have someone there beside you when you need them and to help you through when you aren’t at your best is priceless.
Loved this boxset. though I had already read Weightless, I hadn't read Revelry or On the Way to You. Of course I LOVED them all so much. The epilogues after the epilogues were epic. I always want more after I finish a book I Love, so what a treat to have the more that I crave since I can't seem to let go of characters for a while after I finish one of Kandi Steiner's books.
All three books in this set were fantastic but my favorite was On the Way to You. It inspired, made me smile and I shed a few tears. The extended epilogues for all 3 stories in the back of the book were a wonderful surprise. I am definitely adding Kandi to my list of top 10 must read contemporary romance authors.
I was so excited when I saw Kandi Steiner was putting out a box set with 3 of my favorite stories in it, with new content!!! It was way past time for a reread of them and this way the perfect opportunity!
You are getting 3 full length, angst filled, all the feels stories! It is worth every penny!
Kandi Steiner can really do no wrong. She's the reigning queen of new adult angst, and she will always put your heart back together after breaking it into pieces. These are more than just love stories: they are human stories, and they dive deep into all the messy and beautiful parts of what make us who we are. Highly, highly recommended!
Excellent stories. Last story my favorite. Hero... Yes that is what he is! The mental issues are real. If anyone feels they want to check out... Seek help. Loved all stories!!! A must read!!!
My first time reading Kandi Steiner, but I'll definitely be reading more. Each couples' story is unique, heartfelt and thought-provoking. The character development flows beautifully, and the settings make me want to road-trip all over the USA!
The absolute best collection to introduce myself to Kandi's writing. I died a million deaths with the angst in each story! So good, so addicting, so gloriously heart wrenching. 100% worth every penny and then some.
As I am making my way through Kandi Steiners catalogue of books. I have found each one brings new feelings and emotions. Laughter, tears, anger, darkness, but the way in which she tells each story, builds on the characters, IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Angst-fest but in the best heartwarming way! Definitely must read alert for all people who love small town romances, mixed with angst, passion and lots of love !!!! I really enjoyed this box set.
Kandi is one of my favorite authors and this boxed set is to die for! All these are five star reads and will have you falling for every character. I would highly recommend to any romance reader.
My heart was so happy when Kandi made this available. Getting endings to these stories was so amazing. Weightless is my favorite book and speaks to my soul and the epilogue was amazing.
