Even Terry Piper, dubbed Officer Handsome by Vic, has his doubts about what Erin claims to have seen.

OHHH and get wores it did see sickness, man overboard, murder and more. "Vegan Baked Alaska "will keep paying attention ,the caracters, the service, the strangest attitude of the crew and the mystery behind it all. 😊🤔🙄😐🤔😮☺ Kat
Vegan Baked Alaska, my nineth read from author P.D. Workman. Extremely well written, the characters well developed building on the first books in the series. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do. The things that make a reader get invested into the characters and thereby the book. I really look forward to P.D. Workman’s next book. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
Well Workman did it again. Vegan Baked Alaska lifter the bar. Erin's adventures or misadventures are a great work of fiction and in this book I really hope it is fiction because I would never go on a cruise again. Not to give anything away. Ms Workman has a gifted imagination and her Auntie Clem's Bakery books are a terrific nice easy read. No profanity or other unnecessary gobbly gook. I you know what I mean. Great before bed read. Keep up the great work. Cheers Lynn🇨🇦
Erin Price won a contest and the prize is a cruise for four to Alaska. At least they will be safe from crime and murder on the open seas, right? Wrong! Not even a day can pass before Erin, Terry, Vic, and Willie are up to their necks in danger.
I like the way P.D. Workman works real-life elements into these cozy mysteries. This was not my favorite book in the series since Erin seemed to be going over the edge for most of the book but the plot had a good mystery to solve.
Erin is in trouble again, and, like always, her human friends and K-9 are in the middle of it. This had some quite horrifying parts in it that made it extremely difficult to read. But finish anyway. You’ll be glad you did, but I am not sure any reader will ever want to go on a cruise after reading this book.
Every book of this series has been delightful! I never want to put down the book I’m reading. I love the characters; especially Erin. What fun this has been. Highly recommend!
Each book gets better in this series. The characters come alive and the mysteries are baffling as it is unexpected twists and turns as to who is guilty.
I just finished reading this short story by Ms Workman. I have enjoyed every book of the Auntie Clem’s Bakery series. This books are all very interesting and exciting. Each story shows something new and intriguing in the small town of Bald Eagle Falls. This story has the four main characters taking a cruise to Alaska. Erin is the owner and major baker for the Bakery. She won the cruise tickets by grabbing second prize at the town Fair. The trip seems to be haunted from the beginning. Things are dicey for Erin because she stays the cruise by being sea sick. She is not just a little sea sick. She’s so sick she can’t even leave the toilet long enough to stand up and becomes so dehydrated that she is desperately sick by the time the doctor gets some medicine for her. She doesn’t feel well enough to leave the room for the first 3-4 days. Finally on the fourth day she feels better and has been asleep so much she can’t sleep. She decides to take a stroll around the huge ship. This trip ends up being a Lulu. Not only did she get lost but she sees something she should not have. Her friends are worried about her. Did she really see something or did she just have an hallucination. Read till the very last line. You won’t believe it!!

This is the 9th installment in this series and still getting better with each one. The main character, Erin, has won a cruise for 4. This cruise though turns out to not to be what is expected. The plot is multi-layered and keeps you questioning. Love the characters as they are so relateable and fun. Recommend reading!
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
This is the third book in the series that I've read. I must say that this one is the best one yet. Erin and her friends are on a cruise to Alaska, a prize that Erin won. They belatedly find out that this is a vegan cruise, but they are determined to eat and enjoy the food and the cruise.
Unfortunately, Erin becomes very ill with sea sickness. Her meds have made her sleepwalk. Then she is feeling a bit better and decides to get some fresh air in the middle of the night. She stumbles upon a murder in progress - or is she confused because of the medications? Is she sleep walking?
A number of things just don't seem right. Dangerous situations seem to be developing. Cell phones don't work reliably. And they discover, that the ship, while at sea, does not come under US law.
This is a suspenseful, well done story. Dialog is well written. I enjoyed it and would recommend it for young adults through mature audiences.
Wow, this is book 9, hard to believe, in the series and its just gets better. I like trying to figure out who did it. This one I had to wait till the end. I feel for Erin. to see something and have no one believe you because you were sick.
I learned how t make meringue without eggs and the stuff is free. Love it!!! Note: I did have to google it myself but was worth it.
One of the things I have finally realized is that Workman always includes a controversial topic in her books. Would not expect that in a cozy mystery. I know in her other cozy series , I agreed with the main character rights of saying no but it did not dawn on me at the time that it was controversial. Did you spot it in this book? Who would have thought on a cruise ship. It taught me that injustices happen anywhere. Needed the reminder.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
I received a copy of this book for free from the author as an ARC and have voluntarily chosen to review it. This is the 9th installment in this series and it is not at all stale or just repeating previous plots. After all the murders that have occurred in Bald Eagle Falls, Erin and friends take a cruise, but there is no relaxing on this ship. There is never a lack of danger to keep you reading. The characters are diverse and all feel real. There is a lot of time spent rehashing what is happening, but that is not unusual for a "whodunnit." All in all, this story is definitely worth your time to read it.
This is the 9th in the series. The main character, Erin, wins a cruise for 4 people . Erin,Vic, Terry and Will all go with heer on an Alaska cruise. The trip starts well but then she ends up seasick. When she finally feel better she sees a man thrown overboard. No one wants t believe her but then other things start going wrong. This book is enough to make me think twice about going on any cruise. Loved this book.
Whatever cruise line Erin, Terry, Vic and Willie went on is one I hope to never encounter! Who would have thought Erin would end up witnessing a murder on a cruise?! And it turns out to be a totally vegan one too. With so many things happening on their cruise (more than just murder!) this book was REALLY hard to put down. I didn’t know who to trust, just like they didn’t.
This book, like the others, was great! I really recommend it.
Vegan Baked Alaska May be the best book yet in this cozy mystery series! Erin has won a cruise, but it isn’t quite what she expected. The writing is fresh and skillful. The plot is tight and multi-layered, and the characters are well drawn and believable. It was an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to future installments. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
Erin is off on the cruise that she won. She is looking forward to having a great time, and no dead bodies. Well, seems like fate had different ideas for Erin as she again sees a dead body on the cruise, but no one believes her! Now Erin is determined to prove she saw what she saw! The characters are wonderful and the story is great. Keeps the reader's nose in the pages to see what else happens next! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Like the other books in the series, a very well written story, with excellent characters and believable dialogue. Luckily, this type of cruise is highly improbable, and this is entertainment at the cost of the cruise lines.
Discover how important it is to be who you are and do the right thing, as well as secrets about life on a cruise ship, in this PG13 travelogue which takes about a day to read. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
This was not quite the vacation that Erin and her friends had planned. What a whirlwind trip with so much happening. A really good book that kept me guessing.
Wow what a wonderful story. Erin wins a cruise in a Vegan Baking contest. Life is never quiet and she stumbles across a body. Absolutely wonderful characters and plot.
