10 PLUS!!!!!

To clear things up, Krista Sandor was a new to me author...five books ago BUT she now is one of my top favorite authors! I have read every single book & have loved every single book.

Now, I also have to declare with sad eyes that NICK KINCADE is no longer my BOOKBOYFRIEND out of the series, that now belongs to SAM now!

The beginning of Zoe and Sam's story is sweet. Eighteen year old girl, twenty one year old boy who have been friends and in their lives since children. One night things get a little crazy and Sam and Zoe proclame what would be their love for one another. Until the morning. The morning where Zoe woke up along, after another beautiful day and night spend with Sam. Woke up alone to NOTHING, no answers no note and no contact. When Zoe learns that Sam has a girlfriend, not only does her heart break but her soul. Oh how much i hated SAM at that moment and even though I KNOW why, I wanted to kill him for he because if i was in that situation as her, I would be dying to, Especially when she has loved SAM since she was eight.

I a in love with the time line of this story because not only are you getting the glimpse of Zoe's story an her POV but also reminds you back through all the four books that she has appeared in! You can almost read this as stand-alone but i would of course recommend from Book 1 because each book has it's own unique outlook and story!

Five years have passed when Zoe moved back home after a heartbreaking incident at her current work. She needed to be there for her big brother Ben. What a tragedy that was! Years and time passes when Zoe and Sam vow to be friends again, until one day when Zoe finds out the truth. I was kind of pissed off in that scene because I know Zoe is a firecracker but I was missing a little bit of emotion more something from her, I mean I understand what had happened in Sam's life but I guess I wanted a little more emotion out of it. Other than that, it was shocking to find out what had happened.

This book has IT ALL, action packed, emotional, funny (always funw ith Zoe) and not predictable!

I didn't want the story to end, because I knew it was the last piece of the Langley Park story but also was excited to see what would happen. All in all ALL 5 books have been fantastic, aside form Nick's story this is my absolute favorite!

I am rating this a 10 PLUS & HIGHLY recommended! Krista really know's how to write and the romance, the heat and the passion IS ALWAYS ON POINT! You will love this story!

✨ DREAMY’S REVIEW ✨

The Story of Home is heartbreakingly beautiful, action packed, suspenseful, and oh so sweet!

"Scarred hearts and Second chances. Welcome to Langley Park."

I’m all for best friend’s little sister / brother’s best friend trope! It’s one that I absolutely enjoy reading!

Zoe and Sam have known each other practically their whole lives! One things leads to another and feelings are told.

Years later, she comes back to Langley Park, will she learn the truth?

I have absolutely loved Zoe from the first time we met her in the series. She is sassy, funny with a side of spitfire and absolutely no filter.

But when it comes to this story, we got to see a complete different side of her, which I enjoyed!

Sam basically freaking broke my heart with all that he was holding on too! And then when he was finally able to let go and be with Zoe!!

I absolutely loved the genuine connection between these two! Krista Sandor truly outdid herself with this series! I’m sad to see it go, but excited for what she holds in the future!

Five dreamy stars: 💫💫💫💫💫

I have wanted to read Sam and Zoe's story from the start of the series & of course there's was last but so worth the wait.
Sam has been through so much & the hurt he caused Zoe years ago he feels He couldn't do it again. While researching something with Zoe he released he can't bear to be without Zoe and needs her in his life forever!
An amazing series I absolutely loved this whole series

I have no idea where to start with this review because I am kicking myself in the pants for not reading this series sooner. I mean I still have to read the first four books but this book was effing amazing and I mean PHENOMENAL to read. This is a story about second chance love and finding your true self in the worst of times.

Sam and Zoe have always known each other because Sam is Zoe's brothers best friend. So he has been around for a long time and Zoe has had a crush on him ever since she can remember. They grow up and they both have feelings for one another and one day explore those feelings only to have Zoe wake up alone with no sign of Sam and not hearing from him for a long time.

When the two of them see each other again the chemistry is even stronger but Zoe is not going to get hurt so she stays away as long as she can. Then she decides she will give Sam one last chance and if he blows it then their done for good. But Sam is determined to prove himself and uncover the secrets he's been keeping in order to keep Zoe this time.

The Story of Home was the perfect book to end this series of second chances. This book is about the couple who have featured in everyones love stories. They have helped their friends find their happiness and now it’s their turn.

Zoe has been inlove with Sam for forever. He has always been they guy she can depend on. Her protector. He older brother’s best friend. Sam has always had a connection to Zoe but he never realised how beautiful she has become. She was always his best friend’s little sister but now that she is a young woman, he is seing her as much more. They decide to take the leap and explore this attraction and connection they have but a inconvenience separates them. They both are left hurting. Years pass and they are brought together because of a tragic event but their lives are put on the back burner. They have been helping out in everyone’s lives but recent events force them to confront their issues. Zoe is done hurting. Sam better makes things right or risk losing her forever.

Zoe was such a badass with her quirky comebacks and fiery personality. I adored her. One word comes to mind after reading this epilogue and that is, complete. All the couples in the Langley Park series have been through so much and have been separated for years bit their love for each other has never wavered. Everyone has found their forever and Zoe and Sam were the best couple to end the series with.

There are two lines in the book describe this series perfectly, "Scarred hearts and second chances. Welcome to Langley Park." I wanted Zoe's story before I was even half way through book one, and while I hated the wait, Zoe and Sam's story had to be last, because it all comes full circle. Zoey and Sam have the longest backstory when compared to the other couples. The book goes back 15 years with Ben leaving for Arizona; Zoe and Sam admitting their feelings to each other; Gabe and Monica working together; Em's accident; Zoe and Sam have their black moment that separates them; and the foreshadowing of Zoe leaving for college (where she meets Jenna). Then the book jumps ten years to explain why Zoey returned home and while waiting at the airport, she notes seeing a UPS plane (cue Nick). Then we jump to present day were the book four left off.

If hints hadn't been given of Sam and Zoe's relationship throughout the first four books, I'm not quite sure I would have fully felt their connection in the beginning of the book like I did with the other couples. That aside, get ready for some seriously steamy moments, for all the feels, for some crazy laugh out loud moments (chapter 16), and some sassy, salty, and smart mouth comments. I sincerely hope that the author revisits Langley Park so we can check in with these couples that we love. In the end that epilogue was everything it needed to be and more. I couldn't have imagined a better way to end the series.

Until this book, I’d never hear of Krista Sandor. Now I’m not sure how I ever lived without her books. Even though this is the 5th book in the series, it’s the first I read and I’m in love. Zoe is one of my favorite characters in any series. Her personality won me over from the first page. Her and Sam’ love story is one you can’t help but cheer for. And I love that it takes work and years to get them back together. It’s not a simple road either. It’s one that shows heartache and pain. One that shows two lives completely changed. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Why must it come to an end?! I don’t want to say goodbye to Langley Park!

Gosh this series is in my top 5 favorite all time favorites that I will reread over and over again! They are just simply amazing!

I have been DYING for Sam and Zoe’s story. I both loved and hated that it was the last one ha. I have been so intrigued with them since book 1! But to see how much the both of them have helped the other couples through their stories is really cool.

Zoe is so sassy and fierce and just all around a badass. Like I wanted to be her friend!

Sam, oh sweet ginger Sam. He about broke my heart with all that he was holding on too but then being able to finally let it all go and be with Zoe. Aahh I just love them!!

Book 5 was so heartbreakingly beautiful I didn’t want it to end! Krista writes such amazingly good stories, they hurt my heart just as much as they make my heart full!♥️

Not only is this book a 5+ stars review but this whole entire series is 5+ stars!

It’s been a while since I have read a story where I experienced so many emotions in one book. Krista is one of those rare authors, she really knows how to keep you engrossed in the storyline and have suspense that it isn’t “JUST” another romance book.

We started out with some back story and I loved how is was short enough that I hated Sam....I mean I HATED Sam. I had to message Krista to let her know I was mad with what he did. Sam has watched all of his friends fall in love with amazing woman, yet the one woman he wants, wants nothing more than friendship with him. Zoe is determined to find out the truth after getting canned from her old job. She is also determined to let Sam go once and for all. Especially since she has loved Sam since she was little. Sam is unwilling to let Zoe go by herself on this mission and goes with her. Can Sam convince Zoe to keep him in her life? Will Zoe be able to handle the truth bomb Sam is getting ready to drop on her? Will Zoe be able to uncover the truth before more people are hurt?

I love how Krista writes a strong woman and let me tell you Zoe is one bad bitch. Gabe wasn’t written as a pansy either which I thoroughly appreciated. Funny that a snake had to bite his ass to make him realize certain things. BEST SCENE EVER!!!

I had to re-watch Star Wars after Ben and Jenna’s book. I listened to mix songs after reading Gabe and Michael’s book. I enjoyed watching the planes land at my local airport that much more after Nick and Lindsay’s book. I gained maybe 5 lbs from all the strudels I wanted to try after reading Monica and Gabe’s book. Even before I was done with Sam and Zoe’s book, I got distracted with my 5th grade love for Boys II Men songs.

To be honest, there were so many scenes and favorite parts in this book. That I tried really hard not to message Krista on every single funny thing. If you want to read a book about second chances, where men dance around naked, people singing acapella Boys II Men while naked, a see through “rolling pin”, girl power Charlie’s Angels and some bat shit crazy people. Then this is YOUR BOOK!

We are back in Langley Park where nothing is like it seems and second chances are handed out for everyone. Not only second chances at love, but also second chances to regain the control over your life.
I love the Langley Park Series and binged on the books before and after I read this one. I mean, what’s there not to love? It’s small town romance. Second chances. Single Parents. Throw in just enough spice to heat things up and add a sprinkle of secret and danger. Sounds like the perfect mixture, doesn’t it? I thought so, too and I wasn’t disappointed.
I wanted and needs Zoe’s story ever since she appeared in the first book. She’s a take charge character, but it was obvious that something wasn’t how it seemed with her and Sam. Her character was really lovely and I connected to her instantly. I liked that she was stubborn enough to not let “it” go and try everything that she could think of to make it right and regain her old life. I liked the subtle development in her character that I noticed just while thinking about her while writing this review. Subtle changes, but oh so important. Sam, the male main character was a bit of an enigma for me. I did not like him in the past (shown in this book), but he grew on me the more we found out about his history and “her”. The more I learned about his thoughts and the guilt he carried with him, the more I liked him and in the end he had redeemed himself.
I really like that these books are not over the top explicit. There are some spicy scenes, but they are good and needed to bring the plot forward. They are not just to fill the pages. Additional to that the writing style is really good. It’s easy to read, but not boring. The plot was easy to follow and without plotholes or loose threads that would have left me unsatisfied. I really enjoyed going back to Langley Park and hope there will be more books.

I'm not even sure where to begin with my review. First of all, this book was amazing! This is the first book I've read from this author, therefore the only book of the series I've read. I didn't realize that it was book 5, the final book of the series until I got to the end. I got a copy through Hidden Gems to read for review, and I don't know if it even told me that this was part of a series . So being as I had never read anything in the series before, I was surprisingly not lost. The end felt definitely like the end of a series though, and started losing me a little bit with details of I assume books 1 through 4. But it wrapped up in such a beautiful way, kind of like a TV series finale, when everything wraps up happy and perfect and exactly what you wanted. There's basically three parts to this book, before, during, and after. The during and after kind of blend together, but there's just so much to the story. It took a while for some important details to unfold, but unlike other books where you just want to get on with it, there were so many other side stories going on that you didn't get antsy waiting for the reveal. You feel pretty mcuh ever emotion while reading, sometimes at the same time. There's humor, sadness, regret; there are clutch your pearl moments, and several gasps in shock. Its friends to lovers and second chances. It's half a lifetime all in one book. I hope my review is doing this book justice without giving anything away. It definitely makes me want to go back and read books 1 through 4, but just know if you stumbled across this one, you really don't need to have read the first four, but I have a feeling it would make the ending all the more sweeter if you did.

Suspenseful, action-packed, heartbreaking, romantic and sweet at the end

Super excellent conclusion to the series. I cried, I laughed, I was heartbroken but the end just made my heart swell with all the love, with all the emotions others shared with Zoe and Sam. In my opinion author did a spectacular job building story around universal fact that we never ever should allow ourselves to decide for others what their feelings are or to think that by not communicating openly we are trying to protect people we love or deeply care about. Keeping secrets from others can really affect our life and all the interactions we have with our surroundings. It will bring down even the strongest personality especially the one with a heart made of gold.
The story is emotional, it has it's hot steamy moments, characters are awesome, I'd like to have such people around me and not only the main protagonists but whole pack. What gave the plot another interesting layer was all the mystery and suspense which was fantastically connected with romantic side of the story line. All the twists and turns in the plot made me sit on my toes and made the story flow effortlessly.
I simply loved it and would gladly read more about the couples from Langley Park. I didn't read all of them yet only the previous part. While curiosity in me would like to know all about other couples it didn't affect the great reading experience and great time I spent reading this or previous part.

The Story of Home is book 5 in the Langley Park series and the story we have all been waiting for since book one.

Sam and Zoe have known each other their whole lives. Zoe is the little sister of Sam’s best friend, Ben. One thing leads to another and the confess their true feelings for each other. Of course, nothing is perfect, and Sam gets news that will forever change his life and his new-found relationship with Zoe. Zoe, of course, has no idea what happened with Sam other than he has a girlfriend and has left. She is heartbroken, but when a sudden change of events causes her to come back to Langley Park years later, will she finally learn the truth?

I have loved Zoe from the first time we met her in The Road Home. She is sassy, she is funny and she has absolutely no filter. We got to see a different side of Zoe with this story and I loved it. There is so much more to her than the feisty woman she is. Sam was always a bit more of mystery to me, he was always Zoe and Ben’s friend, Gabe’s brother, Michael’s cousin. I knew I would love their story, but I didn’t think I would love it this much. It was perfect. It was so fitting and true to who Zoe and Sam are.

This story was funny, it was full of drama and it was emotional. The Story of Home was the perfect ending to the Langley Park series and the perfect goodbye to these characters.

A MUST read for anyone who loves Langley Park.

I am voluntarily reviewing this ARC.

The Langley Park series is so completely fun to read. So basically each book covers a different couple but the same time periods...and maybe a little further in, if that makes sense. So now, this is the last book in the series. Wee have seen these dramatic, story changing, events played out by all of the necessary players and it reads as such a complete story. It reminds me of a painting that’s has been painted in layers, adding dimension and texture to the landscape.
This story was Zoe and Sam’s. She’s a spit fire with a creative potty mouth and a huge heart. He’s a giant ginger with so much love to give. Both of these characters have been important in all of the other books. And this book had so much in it for these two. Their love story melted my heart, broke my heart and then picked me up and warmed my heart. However, that’s not all this book was about. It was a sleuth kind of mystery, with Zoe as the reporter uncovering unfathomable crimes. I will not give anything away because I just won’t rob you of the opportunity to get so completely caught up in this story, as I did. Then, the end of the book, the end of the series, Krista Sandor gives a proper send off to these characters that feel like life long friends.
This book, this series gets all the stars and a few happy tears! I can’t wait for Krista Sandor next book!!

**ARC REVIEW**
I've been anticipating Zoe's story since Book 1!!

You finally understand where the dynamic of Sam and Zoe comes from. After going through years with the Langley family you get to know the real Zoe.

Zoe is working her dream job as a journalist for an up and coming media company in Washington D.C. She finds herself at a crossroads with a story that will hit headlines and jump start her career.

Sam, after experiencing a traumatic situation in his personal life has decided to stop traveling and come back home and start his life all over again.

Zoe finds herself back home after a family emergency. She needs to face her family and her true love Sam. Their circumstances ended abruptly and with hurt and anger. Zoe never understood what fully happened. Why Sam broke her heart with no explanations at all.

This last book is full of Suspense, Romance and True Friendship at its best!

It's a series that shouldn't end and hopefully will have a come back later on....

Krista Sandor keeps blowing me away with this series! The Story Of Home is yet another epic addition in a series that continues to get better and better with each new book. Bursting with romance that makes your heart race in a way only true soul deep kind of love can make it, the warmth of a close knit group of friends and family and the kind of mystery and suspense that has your heart pounding and keeps you on edge woven through out Zoe and Sam’s story.
These two are the ultimate when it comes to second chance romance. A beautiful love interrupted by heartbreak, misunderstandings and secrets but one that is so strong it has never died exists between Zoe and Sam. When life pushes them back together as Zoe is investigating a story that could save the lives of young girls that spark between them flares back to life even brighter than before.
Both genuinely incredible characters with hearts that are unbelievably huge I found myself rapidly hooked to every bit of their story.

I know I have said this after every book in this series but I’m going to say it again, I did not think it could get any better than the last but the author has absolutely out did herself again. We get young love, heartbreak, a brief recap of the other characters stories, angst, etc. This book follows Zoe and Sam how they started out, how they fell apart, and how they try to come back together. It had parts were I was laughing so hard I snorted then it had parts my heart aches and tears came. Let’s not forget the suspense and mystery, it’s the best one I’ve read yet. I’m sad this series is over but I’m so glad and happy with the way it concluded. It was beautifully written and perfectly executed. Sam has replaced Nick as my favorite which for me is a big deal but once you read this you will never question why because Sam has a heart of gold and a love that burns so bright for Zoe. By far the best conclusion to any series I have read.

Zoe is a reporter in Washington DC who runs a story on abuse and neglect at a girls’ detention center. When her source recants and is discredited, she is fired. The same day, a tragedy sends her home to Langley Park to help her family. When she learns of similar allegations at the nearby facility owned by the same company, she takes the opportunity to make up for the past and save the girls.

I liked that there was so much more to this book than the main romance (which seems to have played a secondary role in my reading experience). Zoe is smart and fearless, and the support her friends show is amazing. The romance part was sweet – Sam is carrying a lot of guilt and feels like he doesn’t deserve to be loved and be happy, but Zoe is able to break through that and help him heal. One thing that bugged me, though – they are in a smallish town. How is it that literally no one knew what happened to Kara?

This was a really good read. It’s a standalone in a series, and while the others are not necessary to enjoy this one, it’s nice to “catch up” with past characters.

2.5 stars...

I’ll start with this - this didn’t read like a romance, so I definitely feel like it’s been mislabelled.

I thought there wasn’t any real chemistry between the characters, about a third of the book happens in the past, and the way that whole part played out made me dislike Sam. She also seemed to put a lot of hurt aside pretty damn quickly as soon as Sam seemed open to it.

The description also mentions a big secret from Sam, but it fell flat for me. Frankly, this whole thing fell a bit flat and felt really long and drawn out with too many coincidences.

I was pretty glad to finish this, and it didn’t make me want to read any other books in the series.

2.5 stars are for the fact that it was well-written and was interesting...just wasn’t for me.

The Story of Home is book 5 in the Langley Park Series. While it was able to be read as a stand-alone, I definitely think this book would have made more sense had I read all of the other ones first.

I really enjoyed the majority of the storyline but there were a few things I would have liked to be expanded on. At the beginning, the story was full of so many characters and situations and I really felt as though everything was being rushed. However, things really slowed down and got intense towards the middle and I became hooked wondering how things were going to play out.

This book had lots of mystery and suspense as well as some heartbreaking moments. There were also a few hilarious moments that had me laughing at the crazy situations Zoe and Sam found themselves in.

I really enjoyed the writing and the characters that pop up throughout the book. I'm definitely going to go get my hands on some of the earlier books to see what things I missed. - By Alisa

Well I'll admit I was a little sad knowing this was the last book of this series but Krista knocked it out of the park with this one! Although it's Zoe and Sam's story she had a piece of everyone involved at one point. There is laughter, some sadness but I eagerly turned page after page enjoying every but of it. From the action throughout to Zoe's spunkiness you can't help but fall in love with these stories. I definitely recommend this book and series. I received an ARC of this and volunteered to review it.

I have been invested in this series since Book 1 and I’m sad to read the last page of The Story of Home. I have been anticipating Zoe and Sam’s book....being back in Langley Park was bittersweet; knowing this was the last book of the series made me want to stay longer.

Ms. Sandor wrote such an amazing series that you felt connected to every character and every book. She did not disappoint with Zoe and Sam

I’m looking forward to her next series after the little snippet at the end of TSoH.

I received the book this morning, and read it cover to cover in one sitting. Everything I had planned for today just flew out the window! This book literally steals your breath away. The storyline is incredible; the characters are so real, you feel like you could reach out and touch them. You must be ready for one helluva ride as you navigate the plot twists and turns. There is high emotion; evil doings; and so much pain and heartache. The HEA is a long time coming, but soooo worth the wait. You definitely need this one on your TBR list today. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally blown away by it!) ❤️❤️

This book is oh so good! We get smart-mouthed Zoe and everyone’s friend Sam’s story. And quite a story it is...it begins 15 years ago with a secret no one expects. We have Zoe and Sam at a couples retreat as a cover for her trying to spy on a juvie girls prison next door. This retreat is hilarious and don’t be drinking anything while reading that part js. This book also has all of the Langley Park couples, nasty prison guards, hippies, greedy businessmen, lots of sexy steamy scenes and love.

The beginning of this story started slow for me and it took me a while to get into it. I really like Zoe and Sam as charcters but at first I wasn't about them as a couple. After we get past the going back in time the book started to flow more for me we get too see the new Zoe and Sam and how they've changed and grown. There are lots of laughs, serious moments and a few scary moments. This was a awesome end to the series.

I have to say I am so sad this is the last book in this series.
From start to this wonderful final these are the best, funniest, sad and most heart warming books I have read !!!
When I am reading (and can't put these books down), I get so involved and than break out in laughing so much I have tears.
This doesn't happen often.
You have a special talent Krista Sandor, and I just can't wait to see what you have next for us !!!
I can't pick out a favorite character, but the funniest has to Zoe, and the sweetest has to be Kate.
Love these and just wish there would be more !!
Thank you, Teri Beard

There are never enough words when reading this author on a way to sum up how much i love it! 5 stars is not enough and to end the series with such a bang is absolutely phenomenal! I love Langley Park and its residents so much and Sam and Zoe's story just finished it off so beautifully! They are strong and their love is stronger! There is an element of suspense and this one is even more action packed then the other stories in the series.

This is a series I will be going back to over and over again.

I absolutely fell in love with this book. I always knew I would like Zoe and Sam’s story but the fact that they had a romantic past together took me by surprise and really added to the story. Additionally, the chapters that go over their past didn’t seem like they took forever. It was fast paced and then when you got into the meat of the plot you just get sucked in. Everyone should read this entire heart warming series but this one was my favorite!

This is a first in this series for me so I feel like I have missed so much but I loved this story with Zoe and Sam. I started out not liking Sam to have him redeem himself later in the book and Zoe was a strong and fiesty. So much emotion going on in this book it was hard to put down.
