I gave this a 7/10 or 3.5 stars, which has been marked up to 4 stars as Goodreads doesn't allow for half star options.
Chloe appeared to have it all a boyfriend in Hawaii and an acquaintance who she'd just met, who seemed to be more than just a house hunting acquaintance. Chloe was appointed to be his guide showing him round the properties. Things didn't run smoothly for Chloe and the house hunting guy, despite all this there did seem to be an attraction between the pair.
This developing relationship, took a back seat when Chloe's boyfriend in Hawaii proposed to her. As Chloe's life took a huge turn following the proposal and her subsequent move to Hawaii to live with her fiancé.
However, once in Hawaii Chloe began to learn a lot about her fiancé that she hadn't been aware of and it wasn't long before she was on a roller coaster of an adventure that wasn't of her making, but was a result of her fiancé's actions.
Did love conquer all or did fate have other plans for her future? To find out the answers, you'll have to grab a copy for yourself and immerse yourself in Chloe's life.
This is the first story by this Author that I have read. I really enjoyed the premise, but have marked it down 1/2 star due to the very poor proof reading that did detract away from the story a little. As I found that I was reading some things twice in order to make sense of it. It was a humorous read that had me laughing to myself at times.
I will look out for further books by this Author in the future, in the hope that the proof reading has been carried out better.
“All Chloe Morgan wants is to join her fiancé in Hawaii and marry him asap. So she relocates from England faster than ducks fly south for winter to be in the warm. But all is not without its fair share of trouble in paradise”. This was a light fun read, a perfect book to read by the poolside or on a lounger in the garden. Main character Chloe Morgan is realistic and likable and I found myself cheering her on for a happy ending. “Who can she trust under the sun? And will she ever find true paradise wherever she’s stranded?”
I received a copy of this book from TBC Reviewers request- Thank you I found the book a perfect light read (only a shame I wasn’t going on holiday it would be the perfect poolside read) The main character Chloe was highly entertaining and she bounced from situation to situation somehow always managing to scrape through. A brilliant effort from Suz- thank you
I really don't know if I liked this book or not. I found it frustrating as some of the situations that Chloe, (the main character), found her self in were at times just a bit far fetched. Having said that it all jelled quite well into a readable book.
This had all the makings of a good read: the perfect partner, a tropical paradise and an offer of a future. Chloe had it all, or did she? A great, fun read ideal to pop in your suitcase for a holiday read.
A perfect light read, one that would be just the thing to read on vacation while lounging by the pool. The heroine Chloe was very entertaining. A good read.
