Most of it was good
To start, they’re a good couple and I liked how easily they got along and how the connection felt on the page. The downfall for me was the last stretch. I would have rated this higher if it weren’t for the last few chapters when we get to the big fight and then the whole journey to reconciliation (possibly for the big finish of HEA), was a huge let down for me. To me, if someone does something wrong, there should be a big apology and some grovelling and some action to show that they are remorseful. Instead it felt like patchwork - oh there’s a big issue that I won’t give away and also the friends are there giving excuses of a crappy childhood (doesn’t everyone? LOL. sorry) and other personal problems he has. And then the whole “apology” didn’t feel like one. It felt quite manipulative in my opinion. It’s along the lines of “I’m so sorry I upset you, here’s a gift and a huge public declaration of love, hope that makes up for it.” No actual action to demonstrate that there was any change in their behaviour.
Anyways, those are my two cents for what their worth.

Swoon
Mika and Gideon make my heart happy. They struggled to get their HEA but it was worth the ride. Lazarus and Bex and Ivy and Izzy are all in this book. Mika's best friend Saint needs a book now and then maybe Izzy. Loved how Mika never even heard of Gideon or his rock status. It made the story more real for me. Loved how Mika showed Gideon he deserved to be loved. The writing was so authentic. Kiska didn't overdue anything in this book. It was so perfect and the characters actions and words and expressions were believable. Highly recommend this series and want the next book now please.

Great book
Very intense writer, the book wasn't intense just the emotions.I love a book that I can relate to. This writer is freaking awesome. Can't wait for the next book. I wonder if saint and Apollo would get a happy ending? And wouldn't saint father suck balls, if his prejudice was had to not only deal with his son being gay? But he's in love a a big black man to boot? But any who looking forward to the next book.

Great Story

Great book
I liked this book more than I thought I would. Gideon is such an A$$ in previous book. He turns around some but Mika more than makes up for his character trait flaws.
