When Lisa’s nutty friends get her a gift certificate to Perfect Match Virtual Fantasy Studios, she has no intentions of using it. But since the only way to get a refund is if no partner can be found for her, she makes sure to request a fantasy so girly and over the top that no sane guy will pick it up. Except, someone does. This fantasy contains a hot, dominating crown prince, sweet insta-love, steamy love scenes painted with light shades of gray, a wedding, and a HEA in both the virtual and real worlds.
I haven't read much of this authors books lately, though I kept up with her now quite considerable dark series up until it became strangely complicated, with bizarre plot twists and even weirder, unbelievable crossovers, relationships, and inter-familial mixings. That series was overlong and drawn out to me, though certainly maintained its loyal followers over the years, to the author's credit. She has good imagination, but unfortunately, this one with a medieval theme of a crown prince charming, good & evil princesses & mild kink was a miss for me. 😬
Somehow 🤔 I read book 2, of this series, FIRST!!! HORRORS YIKES WARNING Will Robinson ☠️💀👁️ Alarm Bells OCD ALERT, DEAD 👻👻👻 Ahead 😱 Okay, I always, never, read a series out of order EVER!!! Even if they don't need to be read in order. IDC ( I don't care)! My reading experience? My way... Okay, I feel soooooo much better, TY I loved this book! I loved the flow, the characters. The innovative thought about and behind this story! In our "real" World, and who knows if any of this is "real" . Maybe we've all been indoctrinates, since birth???👁️ With the current technology, we can all be Annabelle and Thorsten. Or whoever and however we want life to be. With virtual worlds reality now, perfectly timed plot! Thank you Ms Lucas for another winner. On to the next!
When conservative accountant Lisa receives a virtual reality 3-hour fantasy for her birthday from her friends, she's sure that her girly princess romantic scenario won't get any match from a male enrolled in the expensive program. She's wrong. There is a wealthy, successful man who is sick of women who are only after his money. He wants to experience the real thing, even if it's just within the virtual world. Will their mutual secret desires make for a satisfying fantasy that might just transfer into real life? It's worth the trip with them to find out.
I. T. Lucas's Perfect Match novellas appear to be the fairytale, fantasy offshoot to the Children of The Gods series, which was a paranormal series itself (confused yet?) In Perfect Match 2, the hero and heroine, Lisa and Sam interact in a traditional fairytale setting, anonymously of course. They have never really met, only nodding a time or two in the elevator, enough to spark a little interest, but not to overcome inhibitions. Will a session at Perfect Match change anything? No spoilers here, read the book to find out!
I loved it. These shorties are lighthearted and funny. The fantasy they created was cute and I’m glad they went for a second round, even though it was many years later. I would have loved to get a couple of days or even one night after the final elevator scene before jumping ahead to the future though.
The story told to Sarah had a lot more details that weren’t actually disclosed during the actual fantasy. It was hinted at, but not a fully fledged idea during the fantasy. Wish that had been played out as well.
With the creation of Perfect Match I T Lucas has created a platform that has endless possibilities. I am hoping some of the characters from Children of the Gods series start appearing in this series using the service to find their perfect match. In this story there is a little spanking and a little sex but mostly romance and of course a happy ending.
King’s Chosen was just as much fun to read as the first Perfect Match. I.T. Lucas’s ability to weave in other worlds and stories within a story is stunning and fantastically enjoyable to read. It’s so much fun to read about the characters life outside of the fantasy. Plus how quick they are to marry once finding each other outside of the fantasy. Sam - Thurston and Lisa- Annabel’s story was compelling and thrilling just like the first Perfect Match.
I've read all three books in the Perfect Match series. The books are basically stand alone stories centered around the virtual reality world of Perfect Match. Each of the stories are relatively short at just over 100 pages so can be read in a few hours. The characters and story line are sufficiently developed despite being short reads.
Another great book from one of my favorite authors
If you like steamy romance, then this is the book for you. Lisa is given a Perfect Match coupon as a gift. Totally disinterested, she decides to answer all their questions with such outrageous requirements she’s sure no man would accept, but one does. What follows is far better than her rather uneventful real life, which becomes infinitely better as a result of her adventure in the virtual world of Perfect Match.
This book was okay, I really prefer this authors main series involving the gods and goddesses, but wanted to read this to see if any clues or crossover potential since this book series spawns from a venture in the main books. It is a good standalone and you don’t have to read the other series to get it. Cute romance but maybe the AI aspect is not for me, just a little too nerdy/sci-fi
...however, the re-arrange at the end was awkward. The extended epilogue was anti-climatic at best--feeling like a filler to up the word count. These books are way short but I hope the author chooses to flesh out the main story rather than tack on endings that don't seem to add anything much.
Great follow up in series. Again the virtual world blend with royalty this time is a fast paced read. You will love the characters even the not so nice one. Just enough spice to make the romantic scenes enjoyable! I cannot wait to read the next virtual story!
Perfect little read. A spin off from another series, a computer generated match making virtual reality programme matches Sam and Lisa who had seen each other for years and not acted on the pull they both felt. Will that all change after their adventures. Read to find out
Lisa is in a slump, work, home and an occasional night out. Sam just thinks all women just want him for his money. A new thing called Perfect Match, which was a virtual reality program. They find the perfect match for you after answering questions about your fantasy. Sam and Lisa get matched up. Will sparks fly in the virtual world and spill over into reality?
I like the 2 sided reality and virtual stories. It is a good quick way to relax and enjoy the show. I was hoping I would get a chance to see how Perfect Match would play out from its mention in The Children of the Gods series. This author is an amazing writer... Thank you for all the great paranormal books.
I love the little slices of life and love, but would really enjoy a more detailed story. I'm just finish the last trilogy in CotG series, for second time, with the exception of the last two trilogies. Eagerly looking forward to January 20, 2024!
I was so excited when I started to u destined a virtual story. At first I was not sure where the story was going until they did the program. I dearly love your witty humor and hotness of the story. I can’t wait to read another one. Should start with book 1 since I skipped it. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Kudos
Great story. Was definetly different from any book I have read but I loved It! It was exciting and kept your attention. The only thingbi wish it had been longer!
This series is so different but great in it's own right. So far I enjoy the short stories and the idea of living out a fantasy that might just get you the one in the end!! Keep them coming I enjoyed this one can't wait for the next!!
Short and sweet. Love this author and huge fan of Children of the Gods series. Love the storyline of the virtual fantasy. Nice HEA. See the next of both series are coming soon, can't wait.
Nice smooth flowing story . I enjoyed this short love story . It was simple and to the point . I'm glad it didn't drag out for I wouldn't have enjoyed it . I like the simplicity of it
Loved it. This is a well written story. The author brought the characters to life. The storyline was fantastic. Hard to believe, but this book was even better than the first.
If you want a quick HEA read, this is the series for you. I thought they were all going to have vampires in the story, but was happy to see Lucas did come up with other scenarios. I'll keep reading knowing that it's going to be a quick read.
As soon as I read the first book: vampire’s consort, I bough the other two in the series.
Their love stories might have started in the virtual world, but the feeling is there, sparked by their own desires, and manifested in the pie real world
I really enjoy the Immortals series but these spinoffs are a little bit blah. A little too long and not as exciting as the original series. Still I read them and I leave my reviews.
This series isn't as in depth as Children of the Gods, it's good but CotG is really good. I wanted more of the characters and the others in the story. I just wish I knew some them better, including the main characters.
The main problem I have with this second book, is the same I had with the first. It's too short. After the well prepared ground for the two to meet in the virtual world, there wasn't enough attention to their relationship IRL.
Once again....another fantastic read! Lucas has become a favorite author of mine! Love stories with some steamy sexy times! I can't wait to read the her next book.
The stories of these adventures are so awesome. I can't think of one thing that I dislike. I love this story. I can honestly say reading these adventures to me is like being on an adventure. I really can't get enough of these stories.
