This hit the spot. Short, sexy and safe. If you love an OTT caveman hero then this is just the ticket for you! Bodhi was a caveman when it came to his woman. He didn’t even want any eyes on her at all!

Quick, insta, raunchy "romance"
I get that this author wants to show some love for curves, bbws and curvaceous women, but did she have to put down thin women in the process? That was my main complaint and one of the reasons I just couldn't get into this book. Body shaming is bad when you do it to any body.
The second reason I couldn't get into this was the "teenage pussy". The heroine is 19 but the hero called it her "teenage pussy" at least five times. Who wants to read "teenage pussy" in the middle of a sex scene, other than maybe teenagers??? But I digress.
Read it if the above doesn't bother you.

This is a quick fluffy lunch read if you have no problem with super OTT alpha males
Ruby is having a tough time her grandmother just past and she is watching Bodhi surfing she had a crush on him for about a year she knows he wouldnt want a girl like her, hearing that her crappy father selling her grandma home (nana said it was hers dad lied and took her home/money). Little does she know she did caught the eye of Bodhi when he was surfing wondering where has she been all his life now Bodhi is a charming, protective, possessive OTT alpha male and when he can't find her he makes sure his whole team is finding her and when he does find her its hawt and steamy and well kissing in the rain (who wouldn't want that!!)
My only problem with this story.. i did wish Ruby would have told Bodhi about her grandmothers house being sold... so he would have bought it.. or something.. so she could have still had that home with memories.. :( and soemtimes when he said teenage C@*t yeah i could do without the teenage part.

This book was freakin’ amazing. I cannot properly express how much I love this author’s heroes. They are never manhoes and are completely GONE for the heroines as soon as they catch a glimpse of them.
The hero in this book, Bodhi who among other things, owns a clothing line and stores in Hawaii, is so completely obsessed that he demands that all the stores be closed so that every one of the employees can search for the heroine, Ruby, after he catches a brief glimpse of her on the beach. He wants her to be the advertising face for his line, but more importantly, he just wants her. When he does find her and brings her back to his office, he orders every male employee in the building to leave so that they can’t look at her. You can imagine what happens when the ads featuring her are actually run. That scene had me giggling like an idiot.
Having moved to Hawaii with her sick grandmother a year prior, Ruby is young, likeable, loving and strong. I would have loved to see more interactions between Ruby and her grandmother, but I know that the story length didn’t allow for it. The lack didn’t detract from the story; it just would have been a nice addition and showcased another facet to Ruby.
Overall, this ranks as one of my favorites from this author, and I pretty much love ALL her stuff. If you are looking for something sweet and steamy with an over the top (in a sweet way) possessive hero, then I strongly recommend this book.

This book read just like I want a book from the queen of OTT, fast, dirty, and over the top possessive hero who makes zero apologies for his obsession with his Love. This book was such a refreshingly fun little moment of happy in an string of heavier moments. It doesn’t tackle anything momentous, because falling in love is momentous enough! This is a great story for when you want all the good bits without wading through a ton of angst to get there.

Completely outrageous raunchy instalove novella. Ruby’s always had a crush on surfer Bodhi but never thinks he’d take notice of her. Little does she know a single look of her sitting on the beach while he’s on his board, wind and sea in his eyes is all it takes for him. He becomes obsessed with finding her and making her his and she’s all for it when he does. There’s obviously not much character growth here because there isn’t enough time but the story was very cute and the HEA lover in me was pleased with the multiple epilogues.

The age gap is highlighted (he refers to her as a teenager - well part of her as a teenager), and while that's technically true, most people I know don't continue to refer to 19-year-olds that way. It was simply to show the age difference, and I feel like there are better ways than what we saw here. I did really like the way he took her away in his car and convinced her to model for him. She was everything to him, in just an instant.

Ruby se fue a vivir a Hawaii con su abuela cuando esta se puso enferma y decidió que lo último que quería hacer en su vida es vivir allí. Pero ahora que ella ha muerto y estando sin trabajo ni casa es hora de volver. Lo único que echará de menos es ver a Bodhi surfear. Pero aunque parece que el destino está a punto de separarlos eso no sucederá su Bodhi tiene algo que decir.

Amo a OTT tanto como a Jessa. A veces. Pero este libro es muy bueno. Aquí vemos la historia de Ruby y Bodhi. Ruby es una acosadora que todos los días observa a Bodhi desde la arena mientras él hace su rutina de surf diaria. Lo irónico es que lleva mucho tiempo viéndolo pero a solo tres días de tener que abandonar la casa de su difunta amada abuela en Hawai y tener que abandonar la playa por la nieve, Bodhi la ve y descubre en 0.5 segundos que ella es el amor de su vida decidiendo reclamarla, lo cual no sucede ese día.
Obvio es un libro de OTT y todos sabemos que están llenos de sexo salvaje y protagonistas alfas así que esta es la historia sobre como una chica obtiene todo y más de lo que ha deseado gracias a su abuela que la mira desde el cielo. Espero que no haya visto las escenas sexuales, hasta para un libro sería incómodo.

Wtf did I just read.
This not a cute romance, it’s a snapshot into an extremely abusive relationship. Like actually textbook for the absolutely controlling and manipulative nature of an abuser before they get physical if their partner goes against their wishes.
Right now it’s peachy bc she thinks it’s sexy—god knows why—but the minute she comes out of being brainwashed or accidentally steps out of line she’ll be the victim of domestic abuse.
He has all the power in the relationship. He pushes her to do things that make her so uncomfortable she has panic attacks. He gets her pregnant to “have one more hook in her to keep her in my life. Forever.”
THIS IS NOT SEXY.
To portray it as such is harmful to those—most likely young—readers who might end up in such a relationship because they are already half way to being as brainwashed as the poor women who end up in these relationships.

Bodhi was too OTT
Is there such a thing? I’m afraid so. I was expecting Bodhi to be a bad boy surfer 🏄, not a successful CEO of his own company. Not that he couldn’t be both, but I was hoping he was a hardcore local that just got into fights with wannabes. Also, Ruby had been stalking him on that beach for a year!!! He never once noticed her? She’s his perfect woman. Had the curves for days thing going on that he’s crazy about and he never once zoned in on her? But she knew everything about him? Kinda unbelievable. Her dad sounded like a grade A tool. And there was no closure there. Just a small little snippet of bad parenting and then bye 👋. Oh yeah, so Bodhi was a bit much for me. It was kinda hawt, but then I was excessively rolling my eyes 👀 throughout this story. It’s cute in a raun-chy way. Her Gamma was a hoe, lol. I would’ve been her drinking buddy. It’s OTT. Ridiculous. Unbelievable. But it’s good fantasy fodder. So just roll with it.

Look I like to read sometimes some insta-love books to refresh my heart and mind from the dark romance books that I keep reading lol, but this one wasn't for me.. I mean the first time they've met he asks her to take her clothes off and to show him her pussy? And she just did it? And they start masturbating in his jeep? Okay that was a bit too much for my liking lol, and let's not forget that he didn't even know her name!!! Well she did cause for a year she was watching him surf so it's normal for her to know his name and his occupation since he's famous...

Fun and Sun in Hawaii
I loved this book it captured me from the start. I love over the top alpha males and Bodhi... was over the top straight out the gate. Ruby while sitting on the beach in Hawaii is thinking back on better times of when her grandmother and her would watch a little eye candy "Bodhi" surf the waves. Unfortunately, she her grandmother has passed and she is all alone in the world. Her parents are unfit and only want what they can get from the estate.... such a shame.
Through all of this -- she still goes to the beach every morning for her favorite past time... watching some eye candy. She catches the eye of Bodhi... who is a hot surfer CEO who loves to get in the water. Once Bodhi see Ruby he knows she is the one for him and will stop at nothing to make sure she knows it including taking her passport. He is so over the moon obsessed with her that the make out scene in the car during the storm is HOT!
This book is full insta-love, passion and HOT steamy scene. You don't want to miss this one.

First things first, I love the cover to this book.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. Ruby has crushed on Bhodi from afar for a year. She had no expectations of him wanting her so when he returns the attraction, she is in for a shock. Whilst surfing, Bhodi spots Ruby on the beach and has to have her but it isn’t easy. When Bhodi finally gets his hands on Ruby, he isn’t ever letting her go.
The chemistry between Bhodi and Ruby was clear to see and I really did love them as a couple. I loved how possessive Bhodi was of Ruby. He didn’t like any other man to even look at his woman. Overall, I really enjoyed this story.
One last thing; I didn’t understand why Ruby invited her parents to her wedding. Especially after how her father had treated her and had no remorse.

I love over the top possessive alphas. I'll just say that. I read the blurb and the tease of the first chapter in a story and I said I have got to read this one. And I'll say I wasn't disappointed. I liked the female lead. She is like the rest of us curvey women. She wasn't as confident as I really would have preferred. But in our society today confidence takes time to build up. I loved how she described Gamma. I would have loved to have met and known her. The son her father. Well I would have loved to bitch slap him in the face. Then I would have loved to throat punch him. Then kick him in the balls. But sadly I can't do these things. I loved the way the lead male protagonist went after her. I was like I want someone like him. Please. If I could tell the author to write a story with a male like this. Well let's say I would go gagaga gagaga.

OTT’s best one yet!
Usually, romance stories don’t affect me emotionally, the first chapter had me in tears. I could completely identify with Ruby’s sense of loss and loneliness. Not only from the death of a loved one, and the lack of support from family, but feeling adrift and stuck. Fortunately, our hero Bodhi’s over the top antics had me in stiches.
It was also a nice change to read about a woman who was insecure and acknowledged it, but didn’t let it hold her back or go on and on about it. Ruby realizes that she can either listen to her detractors or believe Bohdi when he says she is beautiful.
I love anything this author writes, but she really outdid herself this time. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved it so much I bought my own copy.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Ruby and Bodhi. Ruby used to watch Bodhi surf from the beach with her grandmother until her grandmother died. Ruby now watched Bodhi alone and admired him from afar. Ruby has a crush on Bodhi and thinks he would never notice her. Bodhi owns a very successful clothing line based on surf wear and when he sees Ruby on the beach, he wants her to be the model of his clothing line. Bodhi sets out to find Ruby and fires all of the models and demands Ruby takes their place. Bodhi also wants Ruby and goes all caveman on her to make her his. I liked this story. I laughed at how possessive Bodhi was with Ruby and how dominate he was. I loved how she understood his ways and wanted to be with him too. Good one.

As usual Ms. Turner delivered a story that made me blush, giggling, squirming on my seat, laughing out loud, and squenching while warming my heart, all at once. Not in that particular order. It was, yes, OTT possessive alpha with equal ridduculously gullible-but-sweet h. But, I know what I signed up for before I opened the book. All is good, strong, and sexy as heck in the world of OTT; and i loved every bits of it. It's that kinda book; a book of good quick getaway from all the serious books you have in your kindle.

Okay we have a 19-year-old BBW who is noticed by an international surfing champion. Brodhi immediately decides he wants her and all of his alpha-male tendencies come roaring out. She seems to not have a clue about life and just goes along with whatever he tells her? Also, I am fine with women having curves, etc., but it didn't need to be mentioned 1,000 times in this book. For a book this short, it would have had to have been insta-love in order for the story to work, however, this was just way to quick for me. Brodhi knows nothing about her, but has her move in with him? Not quite believable.

Insta-love, alpha hero, sweet and curvy heroine - what more could anyone want in a quick, delicious literary snack? Sure, Bodhi's a little over the top, but that's what we love about him. Ruby is at a low point and about to be swept out of his reach, but they connect just in time - and what a connection it is!

If you want a read about an OTT possessive hot surfer with sexy tattoos this book is for you. Just like the rest of Olivia T. Turner' books there is never any cheating and as always a HEA. Bodhi is tired. He wants "someone with a real body. Curves, beautiful flaws, sweet imperfections". Ruby is a curvy 19 year old virgin that sits on the beach watching the sexy Bodhi and dreams of his kisses. When they finally do meet you get insta-love with hot panty melting sex! You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful, witty and a tad bit stalkerish, your lead female simply adores her grandmother and moves across the world to spend her last years with her. Her passing was not only the hardest thing she ever had to deal with but it showed how callous and cruel her father was which practically left her with no choices. Soaking in their favorite past time of watching surfers .... one in particular each morning changes everything when the guy she has been watching for years all of a sudden notices her. Interesting read.
