So much nasty fan service and the Big Bad group is called Lars al Ghoul. One of Batman’s nemeses is Ra’s a Ghul.

That is blatant theft and I won’t stand for it. It’s bad enough the “plot”, such as it is, is a dime a dozen and it’s done fair to middling. To take the name of a major bad guy from an incredibly popular franchise and change two letters pushes it over the edge.

The book described by the title would have honestly been more interesting. The author was also straining himself to come up with different ways to describe breasts and thighs, which, along with hair, were the only ways the women in the book were differentiated physically.

Is it me or this demonlord reincarnation trope is getting stale real fast? ლ(ಠ_ಠლ)

You know what would be interesting? If the "typical nobody" was an ACTUAL typical nobody. Just for once, one of these OPs should become like a really starting adventurer and solve his/her problems as like common people: by ingenuity, by resolution, by joint effort...etc. But nooooo, we cant have that. Instead what we have is this shit:

''I'm an invincible superpowered badass who never loses. I wanna reincarnate so I know what losing feels like...except I'm still an invincible superpowered badass who can never lose."

At least be a fucking demon, man. Not a moody misunderstood overpowered badass with a heart of gold, I mean a genuine evil person that's brutal, intelligent, domineering, and over powered. You know, someone that people would ACTUALLY call a Demon Lord.

No, seriously, these days anything passes for a demon lord. Even cute girls. ((╬ಠิ﹏ಠิ))

OVERALL; Just another manga that can be summed up as "No actual plot, just another author's self-insert oc living out the same frikkin power fantasy we've already seen 856 times before.''

Should you read it?

Sure, if you are SUPER, I mean, SUPEEEER into harem mangas and sexy girls whom only purposes are to just lust after the main guy. There are a lot of other mangas with the same, I mean the SAME, plot -such as The Misfit of Demon King Academy 01: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants ( which is kinda better, hell, it's a masterpiece compared to this. Same shit, just done kindaaaa better, you know.) so that should tell you what kind of shithole story this one is.

Dont get me wrong. I don't believe originality is everything, but when it is the same idea being used the SAME way, with identical character types and plots, with similar art styles, then it's like... what's the point, really? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After reading my last book, i really needed a brain cleanser and decided to go for a silly Light novel. and that's exactly what this light novel is. Silly.

The title basically describes what the story is about (it's an anime title after 2015 so of course it does)

Was it any good? Well... it's very average. Main guy is SUPER SUPER SUPER overpowered gary stu with all the super powers of basically a god so there's no real challenge he comes across. the only thing that makes him NOT unbearable is that he doesn't WANT to be a gary stu. like he's actively trying to not show he's overpowered which is a nice touch.

there's 2 other main characters. There's Ireena his childhood friend who so obviously thirstily wants him that it's kind of embarrassing. She's the stereotypical super happy friendly "i want him all to myself with the fake air of 'friendship' that it hurts." the other main character is a succubus named Ginny who wants to be in his harem. She's kind of funny and makes me laugh. She's actually more enjoyable to be around than Ireena. She literally says she wants to share him but Ireena's like "nooo no harems!" Lame.

Overall, the story is very very basic. Main guy was a demon lord, gets reincarnated but still keeps all of his super powers. nobody knows he was the old demon lord and goes to a school for magic where EVERY SINGLE PERSON is obsessed with this guy because of how powerful he is. The students, the teachers, the school headmaster EVERYONE. like i said, super gary stu stuff.

This is a very brain dead light novel. like you can't take it seriously. you shut off your brain and go "yep. this sure is a generic anime light novel." The girls ' chests are STUPIDLY large to the point that you're like "ah. m. k that's unrealistic to the nth degree." and i'm not just saying that because of the cover. the book goes out of its way to talk about these girls chests a LOT. like, a LOT A LOT. and you're like "yeah. okay. i get it. thanks." moderation is not this story's strong suit. either in super powers or fanservice.

as long as you shut off your brain...it's fine. but it's a solid 3 out of 5. there's no way it's higher than that. it's FINE. it's SERVICEABLE. that's all it gets. Will i read the 2nd one? yeah. probably once i need to read another book to shut off my brain to.

so...yep. this sure was a generic anime story.

Um, I don’t know, I kind of did not expect much and my expectations were met as it being pretty bad. I will just say my least favorite character was the main character which generally for me is a deal breaker, I though he was bland and also so weirdly inexperienced even though he is supposed to be experienced. Also his actions always seemed conflicting. This genre is not my cup of tea.

I started reading this since the manga is coming out soon. I will start by saying that I love these types of stories. I love seeing a demon lord being reincarnated as a "normal" citizen. This book goes at a steady pace, not to fast yet not too slow. The only thing I struggle with is the characters. A lot of characters seem very bland at times, but other than that I don't mind them. I know its not some people's cup of tea, however I do enjoy the harem like tropes, I just wish the girls got some extra build up.

Its still a fun read! I've enjoyed most characters so far and can't wait for their adventures to continue.

Amazing if kinda predictable.

The story is very well written for a harem style story with an over powered main character. It mixes the isekai genre up a little by doing the "reborn in the same world a thousand years later" bit, but the stories is actually fairly good and you'll love the character. My only real complaint is the typical "every girl I meet is drop dead gorgeous!" Trope which is a little annoying. All in all, if you're into the reborn and harem style stories you'll probably like this one. Though be prepared the MC is portrayed as anti harem.

A premissa é interessante mas tropeça nela mesma algumas vezes, como :
~ o protag é muito forte ao ponto de quase ninguém estar no nível dele, mesmo ele sendo um "ninguém"
~ele atraí só belas jovens para seu grupo "sem querer"
~o mundo tem regras estabelecidas de como as coisas funcionam para todos, menos para ele.
Por tanto querer ser diferente ele acaba se tornando mais um "isekai" genérico, mas possui pontos divertidos e dependendo de como o escritor prossiga nos próximos volumes, pode ser tornar uma bela historia para se ler.

Poorly written.

The story is nothing new, another OP character who is clueless about human relations. The problem is the author can't deliver a good story and instead tries to write fanservice for the sake of it, in most cases even disgusting. Even the main story doesn't make sense in many opportunities. Poorly written with secondary characters that are described only by looks and scenes that are disgusting.

I thought this was dreadful. We soon forget the ‘typical nobody’ part so the story can focus on describing everyone’s breasts (although as they all seem to have the same identical enormous pair, it’s a bit pointless). The characters mostly just shout cliches at each other or go into endless inner monologues about their tragic backstories. The idea sounded fun but the book definitely wasn’t.
