The Righteous Survival series is an epic tale of how the survivors of an EMP attack make it through the horrors of the ensuing societal collapse and begin to rebuild a livable society. It may be the most thought provoking EMP series you will ever read. It is a love story, a tale of hope, a tale of the American spirit and ingenuity overcoming obstacles. It portrays the best and worst of humanity. Told in graphic detail, it is both beautiful and gruesome. At times, you may set the book aside, not wanting to envision the truth of man’s cruelty. At other times, you may literally want to stand up and cheer at man’s ability to survive.

The action scenes are great and even though there’s a religious theme, it doesn’t distract from the story. It all meshes together into a great apocalypse story. The characters are well rounded. Once you pick the book up it’s hard to put down.

It is recommended that you start with Righteous Gathering, Book 1, but feel free to pick up any point in the story. It’s a free country. Additional editing has been completed on all the books in this series to refine the product from its original publication. The story has not changed but the final product is a much smoother read.
RIGHTEOUS GATHERING, BOOK 1
Mark Mays, the series’ central figure, witnesses the immediate effects of an EMP attack and takes action to gather his family to his remote farmstead in the Laurel Highlands of Central Pennsylvania. He also begins to rally the townspeople of the nearby communities as the chaos and anarchy starts to spread through the countryside.
RIGHTEOUS BLOODSHED, BOOK 2
Violence consumes the country as food runs short in the major cities. Even in the remote Laurel Highlands, with its prosperous farmlands, anarchy reigns. Battles are fought, neighbor fighting neighbor. American fighting American. Much blood is shed in this part of the tale, possibly the most graphically violent book in the series.
RIGHTEOUS SACRIFICE, BOOK 3
Realizing that the farmlands are the key to survival, warring factions lay claim to their territories in the fight for survival. Tough decisions have to be made. Meanwhile, some communities rise to fight against the anarchy, and a local militia is established to protect the free farms.
RIGHTEOUS SOLDIERS, BOOK 4
The Laurel Highlands Militia’s ambitious plans to secure an arms depot results in a massive battle. Oath Keepers come into play as the future of the nation is at stake. Will martial law be implemented, stifling the innovations of the free lands? Or will the Oath Keepers rally to secure the farmlands and a stabile source of food for the survivors?

The local battles wane as winter sets in. All factions do whatever they can to survive through the winter months. The suffering is told in vivid detail as millions of people will not survive. Meanwhile, the nation’s naval fleets return home to chaos. Another epic battle is fought that has nothing less than freedom at stake.

The conclusion of this epic series is now available. A civil war is fought against the forces trying to impose martial law while a new government is being established. If you are interested in Christian pre-dystopian , this series might work .

What does real winter do to survivalism? How does the lack of faith and blind followers of unconstitutional order fare against a godly leader and force?
Book Five of the Righteous Survival EMP Saga will explore these sorts of question - the back cover promises as much.
But more important is the exploration the reader is invited to make of their own faith and life.
An excellent read and a great series.

An amazing series!
I hope to see much more from this author. Very refreshing to read. I can't wait for book 6. The message of hope and love comes through very clearly. In today's world I wonder if there are enough righteous people to pull America though the end of the world happening? Maybe with God's love and guidance.

Fantastic
Another great book in a special series. Recommend this post apocalyptic fiction that is faith based. The were out God foremost, and plenty of action and drama.
