Like wandering in and out of a daydream.

I picked this up randomly at a second hand store and immediately fell in love. The poems are very dreamlike and heartfelt. They remind me a lot of Basho's earlier poems, aside from some of Cheng's more chaotic and freeform poems. Reading about the poet's life as well gave a lot of context to his work that really helped illuminate it. A short and easy read too, highly recommended.
