Many people become puzzled by the principle of karma and are left asking, “What is the law of karma?”, “What is destiny, or does destiny relate to karma?” In the book “The Science of Karma”, Gnani Purush Dada Bhagwan defines karma and how exactly it works according to spiritual science. Dadashri explains with the knowledge of Self and understanding of karma one can experience inner peace.
Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifest within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able help others do the same. He said that, “The same Lord, Dada Bhagwan exists in all living beings. The difference between you and me is that in me The Lord has manifested fully in me and he is yet to manifest in you.” Param Pujya Dadashri used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.This book is a humble attempt to present to the world, the essence of his Knowledge. Great care has been taken to preserve his original words and the essence of his message.
PT: Confuso e repetitivo. Com termos que não tem tradução possível. O livro não apresenta uma linha directa. É verdade que tem algumas coisas interessantes, mas na sua maioria é muito aborrecido. Embora tenha obtido gratuitamente na aplicação Kobo, esperava mais.
EN: Confused and repetitive. With terms that cannot be translated. The book does not feature a direct line. It is true that there are some interesting things, but for the most part it is very boring. Although I got it for free on the Kobo app, I expected more.
It is a quick read and the question answer style makes it more interesting. The book does offer greater insights into Karma but makes the concept confusing. The language at time goes a little sarcastic and some of the things stated about after death are not accompanied with logic("science").
Albeit, in the spirit of binding/not binding any new karma, I recommend any person fascinated by this topic, must read this book once.
