Labyrinth Meditations: Exercises for Mindfulness and Centering

Rate this book
Take a personal meditative journey through a series of beautifully illustrated finger labyrinths to quiet the mind and achieve a new level of calm in your everyday practice.

The labyrinth is a beautiful metaphor for spiritual and personal transformation. Unlike mazes, which try to trick you into taking the wrong route, labyrinths lead you along one continuous path to the center—they offer a spiritual journey away from your normal everyday life towards introspection and understanding. With more than 35 stunning, serene plant-inspired designs, Madonna Gauding provides guided meditations to use with the labyrinths to help us reach a more positive and loving state of consciousness. Plus, the introduction explains what meditation is and why labyrinths assist us in the practice; she also outlines the benefits we enjoy from meditating on plants, from increased calmness to compelling mindfulness. The book also offers suggested meditations that focus on healing, relationships, and sexuality, embracing your creativity and passion in what you do, and finding peace and contentment.

Many images easy to see, but not so for other images- light on light- harder for folks to trace the labyrinth.

A unique guide on labyrinth meditation. It may be harder for those who have eye astigmatisms, but it's an interesting way to decompress.
