A Little Bit of Numerology: An Introduction to Numerical Divination

Rate this book
This entry in the popular Little Bit Of series introduces the age-old study of numerology.

Through the energetic power of numbers, it’s possible to gain insights into the core of who we are and what specific gifts and challenges we are here to master. Practicing numerologist Novalee Wilder provides an overview of the ancient esoteric system of numerology, including its history and origins. A step-by-step guide shows how to calculate your essence by examining the numbers 1 through 9, and using the results to explore your personality, understand essential life lessons, and figure out goals. Wilder also discusses the concept of name vibrations, the Numeroscope (a numerologist's greatest tool), understanding others through numerology (using famous figures throughout history as examples), and applying this knowledge to your daily life.

This book fails in giving someone new to numerology the basic. Her examples and excercises are not detailed enough for a lot of people to follow without asking questions. This book left me more confused than when I started.

I absolutely loved this book! I've been wanting to learn more about numerology for awhile now and this was a great starting point. I learned so much about myself and the people around me by calculating information. I will definitely be re-reading to practice the things that I've learned. A great start to the year!

I really enjoyed reading this book. You learn about the history and the different types of numerology as well as concrete tools to apply it to your own life which I found so cool and incredibly accurate! I wouldn't describe myself as a spiritual person but this really hit close to home for me and really connected with me (Astrology for example is often a hit or miss for me).
So much so that I actually went ahead and booked a session with Novalee Wilder. The book got me to explore her website and realize I was ready to delve deeper and I felt ready for it because I had read the book. Highly recommend!

It is a very interesting INTRODUCTION to numerology. Don't expect to go deep into the specific, but as a overall its pretty great!

I'm astonish to see how fitting my profile represent my core values and personality.

It's a great book to get started to play with numbers and to see how and when they impact your daily life and the one of your loved ones.

This book is a great introduction to numerology which is a very complex topic! It's not an in depth, detailed breakdown down of all that is numerology but it summarizes well and highlights key points. Quick, easy read. I really enjoyed it.

It could have given a lot more information about how to interpret things, but other than that, it was a great start into Numerology!

Despite being a useful overview, the book isn’t in-depth enough to serve as the reference text it poses to be.

This author must have seriously, truly despised their name. I wonder what it was before?
