Using clear instructions and carefully selected exercises, Naomi Humphrey shows how meditation can be used as a powerful force for self improvement. For over ten years, Naomi has taught meditation as a self help tool for a wide variety of physical, emotional and psychological problems. Here, in plain language, she sets out to explain the basic techniques used by the many and varied systems of meditation and shows that these techniques can be easily learned and applied to your life today.
This book was a little to theoretical for my liking. There's nearly 80 pages of historical and philosophical stuff before you get to any advice as to HOW to meditate, let alone any simple exercises. While the information was interesting up to a point, I really wanted to get on with meditating.
