About the author

Hiro Mashima (Jap: 真島ヒロ) is a Japanese manga artist.

He gained success with his first serial Rave, published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1999 to 2005. His best-selling work, Fairy Tail, published in the same magazine from 2006 to 2017, became one of the best-selling manga series with over 72 million copies in print. Mashima began the currently ongoing Edens Zero in 2018.

Fairy Tail won the Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen manga in 2009, and Mashima was given the Harvey Awards International Spotlight award in 2017 and the Fauve Special Award at the 2018 Angoulême International Comics Festival.

For moments nobody knows what the hell is going on, too messy. But then, Natsu decides to save the day

La primera batalla se ganó, ichiya me hizo reír 🤣🤣 con todas sus debilidades jajajaja sin embargo vienen viene ya la segunda oleada, pero los demás gremios de fiore vienen de refuerzo. Ya cayó uno de los 12, otro está en prisión y a punto de ser acabado por un aliado rencoroso.
Natsu tuvo un mini enfrentamiento con Zeref, pero la verdad ya salió a la luz y una vez zeref muera Natsu morirá con él al ser una de sus creaciones. Por tanto antes de poder concretar el último ataque con las fuerzas que quedaban en él de Ignel, Happy lo interrumpe. A ver como sigue.

Es uno de los mejores arcos que estoy leyendo hasta el momento, y que convergen muchas cosas. El mago oscuro Zeref se hace notar demasiado... su presencia siempre me generó intriga, y ahora lo tengo al 100%. Los spriggan 12 me parecen fascinantes. Pensar que son mejores que los magos santos... es una locura. Las revelaciones son abrumadoras, y tengo miedo de lo que vaya a pasar...

In questo appassionante volume entriamo nel vivo della battaglia tra la Gilda di Fairy Tail e l'impero di Alvarez con i pericolosi 12 Spriggan al comando di Zefer. Ci sono diversi fronti e varie battaglie nelle quali i nostri beniamini dovranno battersi con forza; non si può tirare un sospiro di sollievo che finisce uno scontro e subito ne inizia uno nuovo e per questo Natsu decide di intervenire andando a battersi con Zefer in persona. Come dicevo un bel volume avvincente anche perché vede come protagonisti dei personaggi secondari e un po' dimenticati negli ultimi volumi come i componenti del Comando del Dio del Fulmine Luxus (parte fantastica per quanto non sia una loro grande ammiratrice). Una parte molto interessante è legata a dei piccoli indizi sulla madre di Lucy e continua Il Mistero dello strano rapporto tra Zefer e Natsu che spero sia rivelato bene al più presto perché tutti questi accenni al momento mi intirgnao e incuriosiscono molto ma temo che alla lunga non ne potrò più.

Whoa! 😳 The battle between Erza and desert king was similar to the battle between Crocodile and Luffy in ONE PIECE. Maybe this idea, especially the armor that Erza used is based on ONE PIECE. By the way, I am excited with volume because all of star characters gathered in this story. I want to know the result of this war soon!

Mon avis (sans spoilers) concernant les tomes 46 jusqu'au 55.
Je dois avouer que j'ai beaucoup aimé ce qu'il se passe dans ces tomes. Certains passages/moments m'ont surprises, et ça fait du bien !
On a une certaine maturité qui s'est installée, les personnages ont grandis, ça se ressent et ça fait du bien. Et tout ça, sans qu'ils perdent leur personnalité, c'est à noter.
Je suis sur la dernière ligne droite, il ne me reste plus beaucoup de tomes. Je suis excitée et stressée à la fois !

My opinion (without spoilers) concerning volumes 46 to 55.
I must admit that I really liked what happens in these volumes. Certain passages/moments surprised me, and it feels good !
We have a certain maturity that has set in, the characters have grown, it's felt and it feels good. And all this, without losing their personality, it should be noted.
I'm on the home stretch, I don't have many books left. I'm excited and stressed at the same time !

Zeref has his forces coming at what sounds and seems like impossible numbers! Not only is he coming from one side, but all 4 leaving nowhere to run, and only two options...fight or die! I am sure you know exactly what the Fairy Tail Guild plans to do! If you have stock in fan-service, it is back up again within this volume (courtesy of Lucy & Brandish). Some of the funniest moments come courtesy of Ichiya in this volume...and they are hilarious in my opinion. This volume is not slow at all, but compared to the previous few volumes, it is a slightly slower pace but I think that's important as I feel that there wont be much left of the series when this entire arc is completed. It feels like we are approaching the end of all the Zeref sagas. That said, I am positive we are at least 4 to 6 volumes away from the end of this. Art and story are always top notch thanks to Hiro Mashima's consistent quality!

It was good. I actually liked how the battle with Erza turned out, as she needed help for once. It was also nice to see some of the other players get some love, like Bisca (with her powers, makes sense she'd be useful) and the Thunder Legion (again, with Fried's protection spells, it makes sense that he's on the front lines). I was also happy to see the other guilds finally get involved, especially how Ichiya helped out his former Blue Pegasus members, who also treat members as family. (And I think he's right to point out one of Fairy Tail's biggest flaws -- they're completely self-involved, they don't ask for help and don't even notice collateral damage.)

Natsu runs off again (rolls eyes), but I'm excited to see where this goes and how it turns out...

Again, I found myself wanting more when I read this fictional book! The battles in these chapters were particularly shocking. The main character, Natsu, showed new skills that had never been shown before. It was really cool! A lot of secrets were revealed too; they took me by surprise. I liked how the author gave us the backstories to help readers understand the characters more. He also provided an explanation at the end.

Zeref is here and he’s brought his entire army but how will they attack? As the guild learns more about how Zeref is coming down onto Magnolia and what roles the 12 will play, our team needs to buckle down, kick some ass, and start saving their town from whatever Zeref has planned for it. We get to see what this past year has done for the powers of our team and see how they approach the many different types of extremely challenging battles they come across. Really excited to see where it goes.

Zurück zu alten Muster. Endlich habe ich dich besiegt! Denkste! Power-Up und so dreht sich das weiter im Kreis. Brandish ist noch lange nicht besiegt. Die hatte ihre zig Comebacks noch nicht. Es ist langweilig, wenn alles in alte ausgelutschte Muster fällt. Und um Zeref taucht ein weiterer Name auf und ein weiterer bekannter Name mit Verbindung zu ihm. Das mit Natsu hat mich jetzt nicht gerade überrascht.

4/5 The Alvarez Arc's battle's are in full swing. We start with Erza taking on the Desert King Ajeel. Team Laxus takes on Wall, some weird weakness robot master. We also have Lucy interacting with the ever sexy Brandish. And we end with Natsu swinging for the fences against Zereff himself while revealing some secrets of his own.

The action and art is as fun as usual and it's turning out to be a fun final Arc.

Se c'è una cosa che non vedo l'ora di vedere con l'inizio della nuova, nonché ultima serie anime di Fairy Tail, sono proprio tutte queste battaglie già così emozionanti ed adrenaliniche su carta (non oso immaginare animate e con le ost a dare ancora più la carica). *^*
