Fever is the third book in the Club Inferno series, but could be read as a stand alone. Chase is determined to get his back - all ten years apart has done is show him how much he still loves her. While a part of Colleen knows that she will always love Chase, she knows to protect her heart, as her needs has changed since they were together last. Working through past hurts, a jealous Dom, and the new dynamic to their relationship isn’t easy, but will it be too much for a lasting future?
I’m so happy that Colleen got her own romance, as I’ve been interesting in knowing more about her since book one! I really enjoyed the dynamic between Colleen and Chase. I loved her need for control yet Chase always drove her to distraction. I loved that Chase was willing to do anything to have Colleen back in his life, was willing to try anything, and I loved that he really had to work on some of his anger issues. Second chance romances aren’t always my favorite, but I did enjoy this one. There were a lot of past hurts that they needed to overcome, communication issues they needed to work on to help their future, and their sexual dynamic just really added a unique twist to everything they needed to face. The background drama was just as engaging, with familiar characters from previous books, the fashion side of everything, and I loved how Master Dante played into everything, too. Overall, I really enjoyed this book!
