i read this short story as part of an arc program. This is the story of Oliver and Diane. Diane was best friends with Victoria from One More Time and Victoria was Oliver's sister. Diane was known as a bit flakey and she never had a long relationship or kept a job long term. When Victoria settled down, Diane started to want to also and she was celibate for the last six months. Diane had a crush on Oliver, but she knew Oliver didn't feel the same. When Oliver's mother threatened to set him up again at Victoria's wedding, Victoria came up with the idea of Diane pretending to be Oliver's girlfriend. Oliver agreed and they started to be more affectionate around each other to make it believable. When Oliver flirted more with Diane and suggested they have some alone time, Diane wanted to be with him, so they went to the hotel room. They had an amazing night, but when Oliver's mother brought a woman to see Oliver, Diane felt it would end their game. I liked this story, i thought Oliver had feelings for Diane and he was looking for his chance. Diane knew she had feelings for him, but she didn't have enough confidence to think he would feel the same. Good one.

A perfect quick read that you will read right through your lunch break before you put it down. The story of Diane and Oliver are opposites but are perfect for one another. It starts out Oliver asking Diane to be his pretend girlfriend to get his mother off his back. So he asked Diane and the rest is history. The story flowed well, great chemistry. A must read.

Wow! When you feel something for the other person no matter how different he/she may be from you it would be hard to play pretend when the feelings are real and when the other person feelings the same way for you then that would be heaven. And Playing for keeps is that story.

Fast pace, naughty, hot, raw – a great balance of story and erotica! The chemistry is hot and off the charts; the sex scenes are steamy and well written. This is the perfect read for anyone who wants something steamy to read. Definitely recommended!

It started as an impromptu suggestion by his sister to pretend date her. Turns out he likes her quirkiness a lot. Plans it all our to keep her in his life. She wanted real things with him just did not want to say it out loud until she had to. Neither knew what each wanted in the beginning. Each other.

short and steamy
Great short story. Loved getting Oliver’s story after the funny scenes in his sisters book. Loved him with Diane. They are each other yin to Yang with him being the planner and organizer and her being the free spirited fun one. They complimented each other and had wicked chemistry. Loved their chat at the end. Haha too funny when she realized he knew so much already.

I love this short story. This story is about Oliver needed a fake date so his mother would stopped playing matchmaker. Diane has agreed to fake dating Oliver. Diane is the party girl. Oliver is more serious. Join in their journey to their happy ever after. I want more! This is my second time reading from Alexia. So great job!

Another fun, fabulous and quick read by Chase. I quickly devoured Oliver and Diane’s story. If your looking to sneak in a saucy, short read in between books, Chase can hook you up with several. 5 Stars!

knowing what you want
This is a quick pretend relationship that is everything you would expect it to be. For a short story, all of the characters are defined enough to grasp their personalities and motivations to invoke strong emotions and a good bit of drama. It’s a great read.
