Ms McKeehan has a winner in this series. This is book #3 in the series, and it's as good as books 1 & 2. I'm hoping book #4 will be come out soon. The characters are believable, and the characters from books 1 & 2 are also involved in book 3.

All in all a great read.

Clear writing with longstanding issues that are solved in minutes. Much repeated backstory. Despite this, good story about protecting sea animals.

Dancing Tides

After realizing I missed reading this book, I knew I had to go back. And I’m glad I did. Got the inside scoop on Cord and Keegan. In true Pelican Pointe style - you’ve got your main characters who have their own individual concerns, a bad person, and the entire town in support.

A real page turner. Never a dull page. I have read 3 of your books and they all keep me on the edge of my seat and always wanting more after turning that last page

Plenty of suspense with the romance. A good mixture enough to keep me wanting more. Good job Vickie keep them coming!

This series gets better with every word. Keegan and Cord make an unlikely couple, but are so loveable together. It is wonderful when both characters achieve their deepest desire. Both Cord and Keegan did not have the experience of 'parents', especially Cord, so it was heartwarming to go through their development as a family in this novel. Now it is unto Lighthouse Reef

I love Scott Phillips. He is the glue that makes this series very worthwhile. He also adds common sense and some comic relief.

Great Read

I love the small town family's protectiveness, and having a resident mentor and protector spirit is always a plus. Including the history of service to our country of several of the characters was outstanding.

Cord Bennett is a friend of both Nick and Scott... they served in Iraq together. Nick hears that Cord is going on a downward spiral and has Cord come to Pelican Cove.

Cord has just gone though the trauma of seeing is bride to be shot and killed (By her Psycho ex-boyfriend)along with 6 others as she is walking down the isle to marry him. He to was shot but only injured and is now blaming himself for not being able to save her. So now here he is in Pelican Point, a chance for a new life and to try and give over what happened. But he is not doing a good job of forgetting. He is now spiraling faster down drinking excessively, picking fights and has decided that he wants to live no more. He goes down to the beach and plans to take the last swim of his life.

Keegan Fanning a Marine biologist who now runs her grandparents Marine Rescue Center since their passing is also dealing with the grief of losing her grandparents is also needing rescued from pain, just happens to be out on the rescue boat sees Cord so under water and not resurface. She swims to his rescue and takes a little grief from him for doing so. But once Cord learns that he needs to get control of his life she is all he can think of. Keegan as well knows that she needs someone to take her pain away. Cord an Keegan decide that going through their pain together is better than going though it alone and agree to take things slow till they get better control of their life. But that was short lived, not only did they help one another through the hardest part of their lives they fell in love with one another along the way.

But it doesn't stop there, The psycho ex-boyfriend is now looking for Cord and will not stop till he find him. Now it is up to Cord to keep Keegan safe and he will do anything that it takes to do so.

Another sad beginning ends with Bliss and another lonely broken Heart healed and complete. Vickie McKeehan has brought us another Amazing heart felt story from Pelican Point the perfect place to find LOVE and happiness. I really hope that Vickie continues to add to the Pelican Point Novels as I can never get enough of the small town of 3000 people and what secrets and surprises are yet to come.

I Really Like This Series

Dancing Tides is the third book in the Pelican Pointe Novel series, and I thought it was very good. Cord served in the same unit as Scott Phillips, the resident ghost who loves the town and people too much to leave it. Cord has suffered some great loses in his life and needs a reason to live again. He finds that in Keegan, the marine biologist running the rescue center for marine life. She's suffered her own loses, and together they could be happy, but someone dangerous is coming after Cord, putting Keegan and the rest of the town in danger too. All the characters we got to know in the first two books are there, so it's kind of like seeing old friends and making some new ones at the same time. Highly recommended if you like a love story in a small town setting, with characters trying to find happiness again, along with some danger and visits from a friendly ghost.

AWWWE! I SO ENJOY READING ABOUT SMALL TOWN LIFE, THE CHARACTERS ARE GREAT. I GUESS I'M JUST A CITY GIRL WITH A COUNTRY HEART, I LOVE IT. SIGH!! I LOVE THE STORYLINE HOW IT SHOWS MORE THAN JUST A MYSTERY BUT YOU LEARN ABOUT SO MANY IMPORTANT THINGS GOING ON IN OUR COUNTRY(always an underlying message). THE PEOPLE IN THIS TOWN CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER AND ABOUT MAKING THE PLACE THEY LIVE IN BETTER. I HAVE READ ALL THE BOOKS IN THIS SERIES AND EACH ONE TEACHES ME SOMETHING NEW, WHICH MAKES ME WANT TO GO ON TO THE NEXT ONE. I COMPLAIN ABOUT SERIES ALL THE TIME BUT THEIR A EXCEPTIONS TO EVERY RULE. I SHOULD SAY FOR ME SOME AUTHORS SHOULD KNOW WHEN TO QUIT BUT MY FAVES, I HOPE THEY KEEP WRITING AND WRITING LIKE THE ENERGIZER BUNNY. MS MCKEEHAN IS DIFFINETLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE FAVES. I'M NOT HARDLY TIRED OF THIS SERIES YET. . .NO SIREEDY!!;>

I really loved this book. it has an even flow that takes you along and makes you want to keep reading to see how it all works out.---then sorry it is finished. I am glad that there are others in the series that I will be looking for and reading. It can be read alone , it is not a cliff hanger. But Vickie writes such a good book that it makes you want to read her other books set in the same location---Pelican Pointe. If you like a good romantic suspense you will enjoy this book. It is set in a small sea side community with lots of local characters & some unexpected twists. Thank you Vickie for hours of enjoyable reading. Alice

Scot and is mystic ways are amazing! This book was also amazing and it was nice to see that men also have strong issues that were concentrated on. Cord Bennett was a good guy who in the end managed to get his life back on track. Vickie McKeehan always picks topics of importance in this case it was the topic of suicide which was done in a very tasteful manner and added a lot to the story. There are some surprises in the book and all of them are good. The end was good and there was a solid end to the story with not so much drama. I can't wait fo the series to continue.

this was the third book and as soon as I finished number two I went and bought book three and four. The books are that good. The characters and story lines are just wonderful, heart warming, exciting and will keep you on the edge of your seat. In a lot of series half the book is from previous book but not this series. Yes you revisit characters from last book but they are just like visiting family or friends. Love this author and love this series.

More Peril Finds It's Way......

Welcome to Book Three in the series. I hope you are following me in the delightful story of Pelican Pointe. Another soldier/buddy friend of Scott has fallen on hard times and by circumstances is brought to the town. We are also introduced to New female character. The story is well woven into our other stories and makes for another entertaining read. Forgive me, I am onto Book Four! Bye

Loved book three, going to start book 4. The characters in books one and two are still in this book, but more as supporting role, updates on their lives. Fate throws together this couple as they both deal with tragic losses. Again it's a wonderful mix of drama, suspense, a bit of paranormal, and the typical stuff that goes on in a small tow. The author really does a great job, each book is better than the last

A great addition to the series. I love that this not only romance but intrigue and adventure. Although am not big on paranormal the ghost of Scott seems t fit in the whole storyline. I love how Cord fought through to stay healthy and it might sound sappy but having someone like Keegan I believed help him get his footing again. It was nice to see Hayden Ethan and all the other characters from the previous book.
