Pain Is Love
Quincy, fresh out of a federal prison after spending nearly five years in, only had one two things on his his son, Zion, and the love of his life, Paris. He’s determined to make up the time lost and start of fresh with his queen, but there’s only one Quincy is flat broke and eager to regain his place back at the top. He struggles with his place in the streets being that the game has changed, and Paris wanting him to walk a straight line. All he wants is to take care of his family, but it’s turning out to be harder than he imagined. Storyline kept me reading as it was apparent that Quincy loved Paris and would do whatever it took to bring the big money in. Mama Dukes was something else as she definitely had the plans. Jaz was an unhappy person and her actions showed how much she cared for others, especially her son. Good drama, comical characters and action throughout.

Paris & Quincy, Aries & Christian and Jade & Aries are all ladies that are ride or die for their men. Quincy just got released and his lady is there along with his crazy azz sons mother Jaz. Some women do not get the hint that it's over and will hold the child as the pawn. That's Jaz. This cree along with Quincy's Mama Dukes is about getting that money. They need a quick come up. When the opportunity comes they don't resist but consequences may come after. A year lady and living lavish the crew is bossed up. Paris has a fatal obsession seeking her, just as Jade n Aries get to know each other better and Jaz is determined to get rid if Paris forever...Shid really hits the fan. Bout to read part 2 NOW!!!
I was NOT expecting it to end like that but babyyyyyyyyyy I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next part. I understand exactly where Paris was coming from because she told Quincy since the beginning what would happen if he chose the streets again. With Jada that was a surprise but then it wasn't because me personally I was wondering when Swizz was going to come back and get revenge, who would have thought Jada would save Amari from the bullet. Mama Duke is a BIG OLD TRIP 😂😂😂 that lady have me laughing with every scene she's in. Aries and Christian are cute together and they got real love since they were jits. Gread read Jay I'm very pleased!!!

A juicy book to read
Pain is love is a good book to read that saying is true money will change you for the worst and it’s sad that people will not realize this until it’s too late as for Quincy he is a good dude he just wants to provide for his family I just wish he would of told Paris his plan before he got deep in the game with Boogie and his friends now it will cost his love from Paris. Quincy baby mother is bitter she needs to get over Quincy and move because what she doing is hurting Zion I pray Paris isn’t dead because if so once Quincy finds out his son mother had a hand on this hit she will pay the consequences for her actions.

It took me a while to finish because I couldn’t concentrate. Once I cleared my mind I was able to fully get into the story. Jaz ain’t shit and She doesn’t deserve to be a mother . Amari and Jada are my favorites. Christian and Quincy should have come clean with Aries and Paris. I hope that Neither Paris or Jada does, I don’t think Paris will. I think she will survive and have an affair with Antonio . Off to read book 2 to see the date of this groups of friends. Oh and Momma Dukes is a whole fool lol. She is crazy!

I need more
This story was so good and left you needing more. I loved Paris and loved how she just naturally took her place as the boss. I really think Quincy loves her, he's just stupid like a lot of men. I'm not sure if I could deal with the daddy issues Christian and amari have but I loved watching had a make amari all mushy. Jaz needs to just die. I hope she gets all that bad karma in part 2.

Boogie was a manipulator and I’m mad at Quincy for going behind Paris back because now quilt will consume him. I can’t wait for Jaz to get what’s coming to her. Amari listening to Jada might cost him dearly. Antonio is definitely going to be a problem.

Very good
This was a very good read! It grabbed my attention from page one and it kept my attention the entire time. They storyline was well developed and each turn of the page will keep you wanting more! The switch from first to 3rd person was very good.. not many can do that! I can not wait to read the next part!

Loved it!
WOW!...not both Jada and Paris! Pain really is love. This is by far my favorite read by Jay Tha Writer! The storyline was really good and easy flowing. I hope Paris can forgive Quincy bcuz Antonio is definitely going to be a problem. I love Jada and Amari together and Aries is indeed Christian's rock! Really good read!!

Great ending to a great series
A lot of shit went down in this book. It was definitely a page turner and worth reading nonstop. I was not expecting her to really leave him but shit not everyone can have a happy ending. Pain really is love.

After reading this book I now realize the meaning of the title. Paris is in pain because of the love she has for Quincy. He should’ve thought long and hard before he made that deal with Boogie. It may have cost him more than what he bargained for.

The boys should have just stuck with their original plan. Excessive greed will cause more problems than they can foresee. I can’t even imagine Christian and Amari’s pain. Not sure if Amari will ever get past what cannot be undone.
