Elisabetta Dami is an Italian author that currently resides in Italy. She is the author of the Geronimo Stilton series, a bestselling childrens book. The book was great it tells how geronimo goes on an adventure just to help his friend von volt i think a 5th grader will like this book because the love some funny and adventure book and geronimo is the right book and some words are hard but not all of the words are hard for some kids i like this book because it has ypu atthe end of your sett and the end is just so funny what happens you have to read the book
As an adult that reads with her children I look for certain qualities in a book that I find redeeming. Meaningful characters, good morals or lessons taught...a proper noun. While this wasn't complete trash, I would prefer to spend my time with something containing a bit more depth. Yes, even children's literature can have depth.
This was a cute one! I love that it reiterates the importance of trust and loyalty among friends. It's a good book to remind kids that it's okay to ask for help too.
Always a cute time with Geronimo. I find the audio books to be quite cute and entertaining.
*Update* Geronimo got a scary call from his friend Professor Von Holtz, saying he needed help and told him to come quickly. Geronimo travels to find his friend and the legend of the yeti! Will it be a dangerous journey or will everything turn out fine!
This story was really cute and funny. I remember reading this with my brother and him singing all the songs that Trap was singing. I learned a lot about Mount Everest and heard it is a very dangerous journey because of how cold it is. Many travelers have had frostbite as a result of it. I cannot wait for the rest of the series as it will be my first time reading it since I was a child.
Who Is Geronimo Stilton? That's me! I run a newspaper, but my true passion is writing tales of adventure. Here on Mouse Island, my books are all best-sellers! What's that? You've never read one? Well, my books are full of fun. They are whisker-licking good stories, and that's a promise!
I'm Too Fond of My Fur! I was on my way 'round the world to Mouse Everest! The trip was long and dangerous. I almost froze my tail off on the way. And then I was kidnapped by the Abominable Snowman! Yes, it was truly an amazing adventure....
My brother's review: I really liked this book because I thought it was really cute to be with his family during this trip because they are an amazing family and I would like to travel anytime with them I love learning about Mount Everest and all the facts about it and i can't wait for the next book
My review: I thought I was really cute book and everything and my brother laughed so much during this one and was singing the songs that Trap was singing and it was really cute to watch him do all of it and i can't wait to read the next one with him.

I love Geronimo books. I really did not like this one much because it talks about Yetis existing thousands of years ago and became extinct but this is not true. Yetis are mythical creatures and they did not exist. The information given in the book might mislead young kids to think that Yetis were real creatures. Apart from that, the story was a hoot as usual
Bringing my rating down because of this misinformation
This one is probably my favorite. There are Yetis and a Woolly Mammoth. Geronimo gets a call from a friend who needs his help. Says he found the Yeti. Geronimo is under the impression that he is in trouble and Geronimo goes to rescue him. When he finds his friend, he finds out that he is just trying to save the Yeti cub from dying. After Geronimo helps the cub, he finds a Woolly Mammoth frozen in ice and decides to write a story on that. When they get back home, the press is surrounding them for pictures. The museum defrosts the Mammoth and puts him on display for everyone.
Professor Von Volt called Geronimo to Mouse Everest to save the last Everest Yetis in the world. Geronimo reached his destination he was not in trouble the baby Yeti was in trouble because he had chicken-pox. Professor Von Volt asked Geronimo to hand him a book he found the medicine for the chicken-pox to save the baby Yeti. When Geronimo came home to the camp he saw a woolly mammoth and wrote about it in the Rodent's Gazette.
I read this book because i felt like it. My sister has a whole bunch of them and i got really bored. I actually liked this book. I'm reading another one right now.
I’m letting my boys review this one. Older son says he liked the yetis, younger son liked the woolly mammoth, and both of them thought Trap’s songs were hilarious.

An excellent adventure book. How Geronimo Stilton travels halfway of the world to climb up Mount Everest (in their language - Mouse Everest), and was kidnapped by a Yeti ! It was an interesting adventure read. Now, the next book I want to read is Geronimo Stilton's Lost Treasure Of The Emerald eye. Recommended for every adventures book reader.
Read this with my 7 year old and we loved it! So much excitement and it’s kind of historical fiction or like fictional nonfiction as we learn new things and a lot of new true information, but it a cute mouse like way! These books are so fun!
This book is called ‘ I’m Too Fond of my fur’ by Elisabetta Dami. In this story, Geronimo Stilton receives a call from Professor Von Volt, saying that he needs help finding his secret diary in the Himalayas because Professor Von Volt is trapped in his secret lab. After that, Geronimo Stilton went to the airport to catch a flight to the Himalayas to save him. To find Professor Von Volt, he had to climb the highest mountain in the world- Mount Everest. However, while he was climbing, he got lost in the mountain and was caught by a gigantic, bizarre yeti. At that moment, he realized he saw the appearance of Professor Von Volt. He then ran as quick as a fox, to approach him. Finally, he got on the submarine because Professor Von Volt wanted to show him the strange creatures underwater. At last, Professor Von Volt went back home with his father and Geronimo Stilton went back to New Mouse City.
This book wanted to tell readers that they should be resilient against significant challenges. My favorite part of the book is when Geronimo Stilton found Professor Von Volt because the most gigantic problem was solved at that moment. I will recommend this book to somebody who likes to go on adventures and likes to face problems and overcome them because Geronimo Stilton faced a problem in the severe weather and found Professor Von Volt. I will probably read more about Geronimo Stilton. I rate this book 4.7 stars because some parts are too complex to understand what is happening in the setting.
This book is about the adventure that Geronimo Stilton, his sister Thea, his cousin Trap and his favourite nephew Benjamin had rescuing his friend Professor Paws Von Volt from a yeti. It all starts when Geronimo receives a distress call from his friend Professor Paws Von Volt saying that he had spotted a yeti and that his life was in danger. So off they went to Kathmandu, Nepal and they eventually found him at Mouse Everest with a little help from strangers.
I liked that the storyline built up and became this super exciting masterpiece because first it was in a house and then the top of Mouse Everest! I also liked that the illustrations were there to help my imagination and made it a blockbuster movie in my mind.
I wished that the book was longer because it was a very funny book and also because I finished the book in one night.
One thing I disliked about the book is Trap. He always plays jokes on Geronimo at the wrong time and if I were in Geronimo’s shoes, I would hate to have a cousin like that.

Another Geronimo Stilton adventure, another successful family car ride! 🐭📚🚗
My kids gave this one 4 out of 5 stars and had a great time following Geronimo on yet another wild adventure. This time, one of their favorite parts was the yetis! ❄️🏔️🦶 They were fascinated by the mysterious creatures and loved seeing how the story unfolded around them.
As with the other books in the series, the audiobook narration was a huge hit. 🎙️✨ The different voices for the characters keep my kids engaged and make the story feel more like a performance than just a book being read aloud.
One thing that stood out to me in this story was Geronimo’s desire to keep everyone safe. ❤️🐭 No matter what challenges popped up, he was always thinking about the people around him, and my kids really connected with that aspect of his character.
This book had plenty of adventure, humor, and excitement, making it another enjoyable listen for our family. We’re continuing to work our way through the series, and the kids are still excited every time we start a new Geronimo Stilton adventure!
