Great introduction to immigration law written for folks who need to know the nuts and bolts of the INA. It is not a book on how to apply for immigration benefits. The chapter on immigrant rights was a little drawn out and ultimately a string of decisions and statutes, which made that chapter difficult to finish. Other than that, it was very easy to follow and understand for those who are not law students.

Precisely and correctly describes Immigration and Naturalization law, perfect for the law student or even the lawyer who needs a quick overview (won't give you all citations though). Mostly for law students, but I did get an A in my course by studying using it (in addition to doing the normal coursework).

there is less case law in this nutshell, which is the part i find more interesting and revealing about judicial reasoning. the writing wasn't as good either.
