Se a história de Reece em vez de Brent estivesse neste volume, seria cinco estrelas.
Os dois livros anteriores baixaram um bocadinho a fasquia, histórias muito rápidas e sem grande piada (mas houve sempre uma boa que garantiu as três estrelas), neste último volta à qualidade do primeiro.
Gostei das duas primeiras, a última, sobre Brent, uma das minhas personagens favoritas, foi uma desilusão.
Adorei a de Griffin, mudou um pouco a dinâmica de todas as histórias, foi a menina a andar atrás do menino.
Matthew uma personagem quase "invisível", teve relevância em setembro e aqui aparece em grande com Hannah. Tendo em conta que eram personagens secundárias, surpreendeu-me imenso pela positiva.
E voltamos a Brent, umas das personagens principais, com desempenhos frequentes e com relevância em todas as onze histórias, umas mais que outras, mas sempre houve algo, e depois a história dele foi o cliché da babysitter, filha mais nova de patrão e amigo. Não gostei. Forçado. Desenvolvimento muito rápido. Não quero mas depois quero tudo no instante seguinte.

The Man of the Month series is a collection of interconnected romance stories, proving individual stories as a larger story plays out. Each novel features a favourite romance trope, ensuring there is something for everyone. With Fall Fantasy, we’re given books ten through twelve in the series. The tenth book, In Too Deep, provided us with the fake relationship trope. The eleventh book, Light My Fire, provided us with the Beauty and the Beast trope. The twelfth, Walk the Line, finished us off with the single dad trope.
Although each book is an individual story with a start and an end, I would recommend reading these books in order. To understand some of the details of the story in full, you need to understand how things came to be throughout the prior books. You’re certainly told, to ensure you have the basic facts to understand the story, but it is not the same as experiencing all that happened – for a bigger picture, read the series in order.
With each book in this series you go in with certain expectations – you have an idea of how the trope plays out and you know who is to be the man of the month. Despite this, you’re interested in seeing how the little details play out – and for those following the series, you’re interested in seeing the additional elements added to the overall story. Que seja um 3.5 Dos 4 volumes acho que este foi o que menos gostei. As historias estao boas mas precisavam de ser exploradas de outra forma. A historia do Mister Dezembro nao foi bem o que estava a espera e era a que mais aguardava ler. De qualquer forma, e a nivel geral gostei desta leitura.

E esta saga terminou em grande, estas histórias foram as minhas favoritas. cumpriu a função, são uns livros bem dipostos, que servem para nos distrair a mente.

October – In Too Deep - Hannah needs to find a boyfriend/fiancé that will live up to her family’s expectations in order to get her inheritance. When she hooks up with Matthew to lie to her family she gets more than she bargained for when the two click and passion ignites. But will their plan crash and burn when both admit that the feelings are real? Or will the two choose each other over the inheritance? With great characters and a storyline that was enjoyable to read this was a great book. I’m going to be very sad when this series ends.
November - Light My Fire - This is the best one yet - absolutely loved Griffin and could not wait for his story. This was not your typical Beauty and the Beast love story. Scared from a childhood fire accident, Griffin has always hidden behind baggy clothes and never let anyone get close, that is until Beverly, a beautiful actress is cast to be part of his screenplay. With the two working so closely together to get he script where it needs to be sparks fly. The love between the two cannot be denied, but will the scars from his past not allow him to be the man she knows he can be? Or will this be only an infatuation and slowly dim as time moves on? With a heart wrenching storyline and honest, beautiful characters this story should not be missed. This is a couple I would love to read more about!!
December – Walk the Line - The perfect ending to a great series. A year full of hot men finding their soulmates while making sure the Bar on 6th stays running. With this last installment we finally get to read about Brent. The single father who has always put his daughter and his job first has always had feelings for Elena. But because she is his best friend's daughter and the ten year age difference he never acted on them. Does Elena feel the same way? Can the two fall in love even though there are huge obstacles in the way? And what about her idea of heading back to California once she finishes school - can Brent risk getting not only his emotions involved but his daughter's as well. With beautifully written characters and a heartwarming storyline that had feel good moments throughout the book, this was an awesome ending to the year. I only wish there were more months left as I do not want it to end.

An elaborate scheme where opposites attract resulting in the characters healing each other's self esteem and in a happy ending. The story opens with Easton and his bisexual law school friend Hannah opening a law firm together only Hannah is afraid to tell Easton she doesn't have the funds so she enters a fake fiancee pack with Selma's brother Matthew to trick her stepfather into releasing her inheritance.

An attraction at first sight and a modern take on Beauty and the Beast. Poignant, heartwarming and a touch of humor. Actress Beverly falls in love with the talented screenplay writer/web star Griffin but he has a hard time opening up and moving past his scars to build the relationship they both long for.

A fitting conclusion.
Olderman, younger woman, the bosses daughter and the baby sitter are just a few of the themes in this final satisfying installment of The Fix on Sixth saga. Love finally comes to Brent in the form on Tyree's daughter Elena. A steamy romance with a family theme filled with love and compromise is blended with an update on all twelve couples as well as closure regarding the subterfuge behind the attempts on the bar.

Os dois vêem-se metidos num relacionamento falso, mas acabam por sucumbir ao desejo que é bastante real e Hannah está disposta a abdicar da herança se isso significar ter Matthew ao seu lado.
🍹Na segunda história, surge o desenvolvimento de amizade e amor das minhas personagens favoritas do livro: Griffin, que me conquistou com o seu lado bondoso e a sua força e a Beverly, que me conquistou por ser fiel ao que gosta e a quem gosta. Matthew é orfão, mas mesmo assim conseguiu tornar-se um empresário abrindo alguns ginásios de sucesso.
Mas quando Hannah, uma das amigas da sua irmã, pede para ele fingir ser seu noivo só para impressionar os pais, ele vai duvidar se todo o seu sucesso é suficiente para ela.
Griffin é um homem marcado, após um acidente na infância ficou cheio de queimaduras ao longo de todo o seu lado direito.
Ele trabalha com Beverly, uma atriz famosa que é louca por ele, mas que não o consegue convencer que não lhe interessa a sua aparência.
Brent é um dos sócios do The Fix junto com os seus melhores amigos, ele é também um pai solteiro cheio de traumas devido ao abandono da sua ex-mulher.
Então quando ele percebe que as coisas entre ele e Elena, a filha do seu sócio, estão a ficar sérias, ele decide afastar-se mesmo que o seu coração diga para fazer o contrário.
Eu gostei do livro, mas não tanto quanto dos primeiros. Sinto que o que salvou foi a história do Griffin, pois as outras tinham tudo para ser incriveis, mas pareceram-me poucos exploradas.
No entanto, vou ter imensas saudades de algumas personagens desta série.

I feel like most of the characters had the same personality. In the end, it was like reading the same events over and over again. It's a little to predictable as well, as you know that everyone will end up with "the one". The other genres that were put into some chapters (things like crime and investigation) didn't click that well for me. I think some of the couples also fell "so deeply in love" way to fast.
I really enjoyed the firt book of the series. And it's not a bad book - just didn't get my attention like the firts one.

Acabou...e agora???
Adorei esta série, uns mais do que os outros, mas de qualquer maneira foram excelentes histórias.
A história acabou muito bem e acho que esta autora tem livros muito bons.
Adoro como apesar de serem romances separados todos eles se interligam e todos eles tem uma relação com o Bar.

MEINE MEINUNG
Ich will nicht, dass es jetzt vorbei ist.
Ernsthaft, ich habe diese Rezension verdammt lange vor mir hergeschoben, denn ich weiß, sobald ich sie abschicke, ist diese wundervolle Reihe vorbei und ich werde sie nie wieder zum ersten Mal lesen können.
Und auch wenn ich schon die ersten drei Bände von „Year of Passion“ ziemlich genial fand, so ist der vierte und letzte Teil doch mein unangefochtener Liebling! Nicht nur, dass ich die Protagonisten, die hier im Vordergrund stehen, schon während der ersten neun Teile sehr liebgewonnen habe und ich ihre Geschichten kaum noch erwarten konnte, sondern auch, dass J. Kenner meiner Meinung nach in diesem Teil die schönste und angenehmste Atmosphäre erschaffen hat.
Dieser Band beginnt mit der Geschichte von Hannah und Matthew. Zwar ist sie ein wenig 0815 (mich persönlich hat sie sehr an Bianca Iosivonis „Der letzte erste Kuss“ erinnert), aber das macht sie nicht weniger wundervoll, sondern zeigt viel mehr, dass auch Geschichten, die man so eigentlich schon kennt, von ganz besonderen Autoren zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis gemacht werden können – denn genau das hat J. Kenner hier getan! Hannah war in meinen Augen zwar ein bisschen zu naiv, aber das hat Matthew mit seiner wundervollen Art sofort wieder wettgemacht. Was ihn in meinen Augen so sympathisch gemacht hat, ist die Widersprüchlichkeit, die er in sich vereint: Zum einen ist er der Betreiber einer gut laufenden Fitness-Studio-Kette, der haargenau das verkörpert, was er seinen Kunden bietet, zum anderen ist er aber auch ein Mann, der sich einfach nur eine Frau und eine Familie wünscht. Diese Mischung aus Papawunsch und gestähltem Körper hat ihn meiner Meinung nach zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht!
Dann, im November, ging es mit Beverly und Griffin weiter, ebenfalls zwei Figuren, die in den Vorgänger-Bänden schon häufig aufgetaucht sind. Ihre Geschichte ist meiner Meinung nach die intensivste von allen – da sie auf einer immensen Vertrauensbasis aufbaut. Aufgrund von Griffins Vergangenheit und den Narben, die er aufgrund derselben hat, brauchen die beiden recht lange, um sich näher zu kommen, aber sobald sie es dann tun, gleichen sie einem Feuerwerk, dass es vermag, den Leser vollkommen mit sich zu reißen! Viel mehr braucht man zu den beiden auch eigentlich nicht zu sagen – ich finde nämlich wirklich nichts, was ich an ihrer Geschichte bemängeln könnte!
Und schließlich, im Dezember, schreibt J. Kenner endlich die Geschichte, auf die ich mich schon im Januar gefreut habe: Brent und Elena!
Ich liebe Brent. Ich habe ihn von Beginn an geliebt, denn in meinen Augen ist er der perfekte Mann: Ex-Polizist, der nun im privaten Sicherheitsdienst arbeitet, weil er seiner Familie zuliebe kein Risiko mehr eingehen will, alleinerziehender Vater, der alles tut, um seine Tochter glücklich zu machen, und dazu noch ein Mann, der als Freund nicht loyaler und aufopferungsvoller sein könnte. Er ist immer für jeden da, kümmert sich um alles und verzichtet für seine Freunden und vor allem für seine Tochter auf viele Dinge, die für andere Männer normal sind. Und Elena ist einfach die perfekte Frau für ihn! Sie ist jung und quirlig genug, um ihm ein wenig von seinem eigenen Leben zurückzugeben, aber dennoch so verantwortungsbewusst, dass sie an seiner Seite stehen kann ohne, dass sie etwas vermisst.
Also, ja, ich habe diese Geschichte geliebt. Und zwar sehr! Sie war für mich der perfekte Abschluss, denn sie vereint alles in sich, was diese ganze Reihe eigentlich ausmacht:
Leidenschaft, tiefe Gefühle, Humor und Freundschaften, die alles andere zu überschatten vermögen.
Deswegen bin ich jetzt wirklich ein wenig wehmütig, dass es jetzt vorbei ist… ich wünschte, ich könnte noch einmal von vorne anfangen und die wundervolle Entwicklung, die dieser bunt gemischte Haufen durchlebt hat, noch einmal von vorne erleben!
Und ich denke, es ist jetzt schon ganz klar, dass „Year of Passion 4“ von mir 5★ Sternchen bekommt, die verdienter nicht sein könnten!

MEINE MEINUNG
Ich will nicht, dass es jetzt vorbei ist.
Ernsthaft, ich habe diese Rezension verdammt lange vor mir hergeschoben, denn ich weiß, sobald ich sie abschicke, ist diese wundervolle Reihe vorbei und ich werde sie nie wieder zum ersten Mal lesen können.
Und auch wenn ich schon die ersten drei Bände von „Year of Passion“ ziemlich genial fand, so ist der vierte und letzte Teil doch mein unangefochtener Liebling! Nicht nur, dass ich die Protagonisten, die hier im Vordergrund stehen, schon während der ersten neun Teile sehr liebgewonnen habe und ich ihre Geschichten kaum noch erwarten konnte, sondern auch, dass J. Kenner meiner Meinung nach in diesem Teil die schönste und angenehmste Atmosphäre erschaffen hat.
Dieser Band beginnt mit der Geschichte von Hannah und Matthew. Zwar ist sie ein wenig 0815 (mich persönlich hat sie sehr an Bianca Iosivonis „Der letzte erste Kuss“ erinnert), aber das macht sie nicht weniger wundervoll, sondern zeigt viel mehr, dass auch Geschichten, die man so eigentlich schon kennt, von ganz besonderen Autoren zu einem ganz besonderen Erlebnis gemacht werden können – denn genau das hat J. Kenner hier getan! Hannah war in meinen Augen zwar ein bisschen zu naiv, aber das hat Matthew mit seiner wundervollen Art sofort wieder wettgemacht. Os últimos três meses, andava ansiosa para pegar neste menino e assim que tive a oportunidade, lancei-me a ele. Acho que foi o livro em que gostei das três histórias, o único pormenor foi a editora tem feito uma letra um pouco mais pequena o que acaba por cansar um pouco mais a vista, mas de resto, agradeço bastante a oportunidade que a TopSeller nos dá em trazer livros desta autora. Do livro, temos o mês de Outubro (Mês de aniversário desta viciada) e temos a história do personal trainer Matthew e da Hannah que quer receber a sua herança, mas tem alguns contratempos no meio e acaba por se envolver com o Matthew.
Em Novembro temos a história de Griffin, sobrevivente de um incêndio e tem algumas cicatrizes, um pouco envergonhado devido ao que carrega, tudo muda quando Beverly confessa que está atraída por ele, no último Mês temos Brent que decidiu não ter mais nenhum relacionamento, mas tudo muda quando conhece a Elena que é a babysitter e filha do seu amigo, ele tenta resistir-lhe, mas todas nós já sabemos que com as histórias deste bar torna-se um pouco difícil de resistir à tentação. Ótimo livro, mais uma vez esta autora não desiludiu.
