I bet you can guess what those symbols stand for!! And yes Glenna I am cussing you out right now lol!! I scared my husband I yelled so loud, then he laughed at me.
OMG 😲 this book was so good. I am tempted to take a 🌟 away because how it left off. Please gimme gimme gimme the conclusion soon.
So much drama, angst, revelations, secrets, hot sex, a bad boy and an awesome heroine. I seriously need more of Killian and Liri.
Btw their supposedly friends aren't friends they really have ticked me off, especially Hayley her own cousin. The b**ch needs her butt kicked.
Ummmm I do recommend this book but just know it freaking ends on a HUGE cliffy. Again loving the storyline but not a happy reader right now with that ending.

I am a huge Glenna Maynard fan, so I was super excited to read this book, and, as always, she did not disappoint! I was drawn into Killian and Liri's world from beginning to end! Their story is sure to bring out all the feels! Ah, so much love and angst! I swear, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, so much so that I devoured the entire book in just one sitting. And the ending? The mother of all cliffhangers! I need the next book ASAP! Glenna Maynard, you are a rock star!!

This book. I wish I had the words to to tell you all the feels this book gave me. Every girl has been Liri. Awkward, shy, out of her element, wears ugly leggings (hello Lularoe), that it was impossible not to connect with her. Killain has a darkness around him that calls to Liri, she wants to help him. Their story isn't pretty, it's full of pot holes and detours, but that's what makes them beautiful.
*This book ends in a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers. I may have threatened physical harm to Glenna when I got to it. #sorrynotsorry*

Liri is finally going to college. Living a secluded life with her mother and stepdad, she has never been one to have friends. While Liri gets reacquainted with her cousin and enrolling in college to be roomies, her life will be upended without a doubt. Killian a know playboy who will sleep with anyone and leave them by morning and to make matters worse he is Best Friends with Liri’s cousin boyfriend. While the first time their eyes meet Killian wasn’t to kind caller her a nerd as she walked in the crosswalk. But little do we know this will be one roller coaster of a story. With more downs than ups but love is in the back and a lot of growing up needs to happen. Blew me away, I’m hungover on this book. It’s so drama intense and has you hooked from the first page. I stayed up until 1am and then couldn’t put it down the next day to finish it up. The characters are so well built and you feel like you are apart of them. Your shouting at the drama and some of the things the character does and then they make up for it and you love them even more than you did! Long book which made me not want to stop but didn’t want to finish it either! Also can’t wait for book 2 because that ending was epic! If you’re looking for a well written, drama filled, angst filled, and love filled book you’ll want to read this!

I usually don’t read a duet until both books are out. I hate to wait. I love Glenna Maynard’s writing. Even when her Hero’s tick me off. This book kept me engaged it was a page turner. Looking forward to the conclusion.

Amazing
I have fallen in love with Killian and Liri. These two have been through so much in their young lives and when they finally decided to give it at shot at being together I was so happy for them. I found myself fighting for them, crying with them and laughing with them. I also saw bits of myself and my husband in their story. Then in one moment my heart shattered into a million pieces with a cliffhanger I never saw to and thought the tears I had to resist the urge to throw my tablet across the room. I pray they get the happily ever after together that they both deserve. July cannot get here fast enough for me to fing out.

These characters... not just Killian and Liri but all of the wonderful characters we meet in this read. Each one brings something special to the table and to Killian and Liri that you going to love them all. Done you want to hug some you want to slap.

Glenna doesn't often leave me dumbstruck and hating her (in a good way) but with this one she has!
In this we meet Killian who is estranged from his family due to things that happened in the past, a bad boy, horndog, racer, with a bad attitude, who no woman can tame but all of them try.
We also meet Liri who loves to wear funky leggings and doesn't care what people think about them, is a bit of a spoiled rich girl, but has a sad past.
What follows is a story that is like a cross of two of my all time favourite ever reads!
I loved how to start with they didn't like each other but due to their friend circle, they have no choice but to be around each other.
So much happens between these two, things are constantly, unintentionally, shoved in Liri's face, she has no choice but to wonder about Killian at times.
Then we get to the final chapters........OMG!
What amazing, intense chapters they are.............
Despite certain obstacles being cleared and bridges being rebuilt.......Well, let's just say, there's one helluva hug twist in the road that will leave you hanging on for dear life, desperate for book two!

Oh my goodness where to start....I loved this book from beginning to end [well maybe not so much the ending). I loved the blossoming relationship between Killian & Liri and even how being with her brings him closer to his own family. I don't like their friends they are just really childish...as the saying goes who needs enemies with friends like those. I am anxiously awaiting the 2nd book I am hearing good things about it.

I love this Trope. Angst, love hate relationship. Killian and Liri couldn’t be more opposite.
This book will have you biting your nails, throwing your kindle and then dropping everything to finish.

The whole cast of characters all gave me headaches. If one is not being dumb, it’s another. The ending had me freaking out though so now I have to know what happens next.

Words cannot really describe how invested I was in this story. I was Killian and Liri's cheerleader through it all, and then that ending happened...
Cheering for both Killian and Liri did not make their mistakes in their relationship right, but it can be felt all the way down to the soul that these two belong together. All the obstacles thrown at them would send any person running the opposite direction, and these two are struggling to overcome them all.
Did not think this book was going to leave me hanging off a cliffhanger, but here we are. I just hope that at the end of it all, these two make it out alive...

This was a really good read and killian set sights on liri a new student at the collage ,she sweet ,innocent and gullible ,he treats her terrible at first flirting and getting off with others girls in front of her but there's only so much liri will take and killian realise he might lose her he start been different around more caring etc as the story goes on it gets more intense, friendship get tested and break ups along the way and family drama and it leaves it with where you end biting your nails wanting to know going to happen next ,this continues in book 2

Oh my God! Oh my God, oh my God, Oh my God! OH. MY ... this book is fantastic. I rarely give 5 stars. This one makes my cut. Romance, love, lies, drama. It’s got it all. I love this story and can’t wait for the next book to see how their story ends.

I had got wait a few days after finishing this book before I could put my thoughts on paper. Killian is the experienced bad boy who has quite the history of 'hit it and quit it'. He's happy with his life until the day he sees the nerdy girl wearing leggings and is instantly intrigued. Liri is a good girl from a rich family that comes to college to room with her cousin. She is thrown into her cousin's circle of friends that includes Killian. It's a good girl and bad boy story that will get your heart racing faster than the cars that they drag race in. Honestly, I am counting the days for book 2 and can't wait for more Killian and Liri!

I was salivating to read this the minute the author posted about it, and it did NOT disappoint in any way, shape, or form! The Story of Killian & Liri is just that, their story, of how their angst-filled, love-hate relationship builds from Killian being the dark and broody asshole to Liri's true love...or is it? Or is it? Because there are so many emotional roller coasters throughout this book, coming from every angle and involving every character, that you have no idea what to believe from anyone by the end of the book. I'm not gonna lie...there were quite a few characters that I wanted to scream at and slap at times. The only downside is that the story ends in a cliffhanger, but like the author says at the end, a rushed ending would have been an injustice. Trust me when I say that this story will leave you wanting and waiting for the conclusion of Killian & Liri's tale.

Boy do I want to scream so bad lol. But it is all for a good reason. This book was a roller coaster of emotions and angst. You'll love them, you'll hate them, but you'll love this awesome story. Couldn't put it down!
