Kara is the daughter or a mafia member. Damon is owed a debt by her father and is taken as payment. This book dove right into the story within the first two pages. However, there is basically no background on any of the characters other than that they’re attracted to each other. Not to mention that all of the sexual relations between them were very quick and to the point and no spark whatsoever. The story was very choppy with no point. Very disappointed

Wow Kara and Damon story his a hot quick read. Damon took Kara from her father as a payment. Let's just say things at as they seem and this book Kara start to fall for Damon like he wanted. It leaves off on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the second book.
