President Pummel has plans to implement a system to replace currency in its entirety: “Money is nothing but a way to distribute power. The Credit Chip would render money obsolete. Debt forgotten, felonies erased… past mistakes wiped clean. With the Credit Chip, a new beginning is truly possible!” But, what’s the cost?
Although the claims of the Credit Chip causing outbursts of violence are few and far between (the closed minded digging in their heels, no doubt) the stories are shocking nonetheless. They range from murders in once loving families to mass killings in churches and venues throughout America. You can brush it under the rug like most people have but the stories are only growing worse as the days wear on.
The Credit Chip revealing new and exciting freedoms daily, the president’s plan has come to fruition. As of January 1st, 2023, the Credit Chip will be the only form of currency accepted. As the deadline approaches, those who refuse the Chip are in danger of losing everything they have. Many believe it to be the mark of the beast warned about in the book of Revelation. Receive the Chip and be welcomed back into society; refuse and be left to the terrible things waiting in The Holding Zones. Resist at all cost! The cost though may very well be your life…
A New Beginning by Nate Allen is the first book in The Faceless Future series. It is a Christian novel set in 2022 and concerning the End Times. Life is a spiritual battle. Whoever is not for Jesus is against Him. The forces of darkness long to take over the souls of all people. The darkness tries to smother the light. We need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus to keep the light burning within. “Jesus was in her every moment of every day.” There are various spiritual gifts including that of prophecy. God speaks through dreams to reveal His truth. We must be careful about the voices that we listen to. We must quieten the voices of the enemy. “Hoping someday the voices would quiet.” We need to actually choose whose voice to listen to. We need the life affirming voice of God in our ears. The Bible talks of the mark of the beast in Revelation. Some people think this is like bar codes. This theme is explored in the trilogy as the President of the United States tries to phase out currency in favour of tattooed bar codes on wrists. Disaster is looming. There are many Biblical truths to be found within the pages of the novel. I will leave you with a powerful quote: “Jesus… shines brightest in tragedy.” Better Things Ahead by Nate Allen is the second book in The Faceless Future trilogy. You need to read book one first for it to make sense. The battle in the End Times continues. The powers of darkness are still possessing souls but this is countered by a movement of people turning to Jesus. The spiritual battles rages on. There may be internal battles but once a person has turned to Jesus, He fights for us and will not let us go. We need to keep our eyes fixed on Him and trust Him in the dark. The lure of fame and fortune is a powerful one. Once it consumes a person, the soul grows ever darker. We need to be wary of where our passions lie. We all need a life built on firm foundations. If our lives are built on anything but Jesus, it is all sinking sand. People search for all sorts to fill the emptiness within but it is a hole that only Jesus can fill. “You start searching for more when you realise you are made up of nothing that lasts.” The Final Stage by Nate Allen is the final book in The Faceless Future trilogy. You do need to read the previous books in order for the book to make sense. The whole trilogy is set over a year and follows on in chronological order. This is a thrilling End Times trilogy. In this final book we see the separation of the sheep and the goats. We need to be wary of wolves in sheep’s clothing. When the End Times come we will all have to make a choice – are we for God? Or against Him? Where do we want to spend eternity? There are scenes within the story that are reminiscent of Paul and Silas in jail. We are called to proclaim the gospel at all times and to shine the light of Jesus in the darkness. At the end of our lives, we hope to hear “well done good and faithful servant.” I am not familiar with the End Times genre but this trilogy has been both entertaining and full of godly lessons, wisdom and advice. It is also a frightening reminder that we need to live our lives in the hope of Jesus because eternity without Him is not something to be chased. I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.
This trilogy is really one book, not three stand-alone novels. I highly recommend reading all three together.
Two families are in the center of this end-time novel. The mark of the beast is spreading fast, rapture hasn't taken place yet.
From the beginning the main theme of the novel are the inner struggles. Of those who took the mark, of those who reject it and of those thinking about it and denying that it could be evil.
I understand this novel to be a warning. A warning to those who believe they can't be deceived, to those who create an image of God to their liking, to those who believe themselves strong on their own and to those who believe that God will save them from all suffering.
Christians will suffer. Jesus promised as much. They are suffering right now in some places and there have always been Christians suffering for His name.
We need to prepare for times like this. We need sound foundation and a strong relationship with our savior to end the race. Fear, desperation, devastation will rattle our foundation.
Deception is hiding in plain sight, outside of church but also within. Deception is promising hope where there is none. The only hope is found in Jesus.
This was an interesting end times trilogy. Loved the interesting intermixing of natural and supernatural. The story is told from the point of view that Christians aren't raptured before hand. Multiple points of view told a well rounded story.
