Take what matters most to her," said the voice.

And he knew he would. He had to.

Thirteen years ago, Miranda Steele’s abusive husband stole her baby and gave it up for adoption.

Then he kicked Miranda out of his house.

So she remade herself.

Thirteen years later, the feisty, stubborn skeptic came to Atlanta hoping to find her daughter. Instead she met Wade Parker, a hot shot, sophisticated PI and the most eligible forty-four-year-old bachelor in town.

She joined his investigative agency, solved several murder cases, and faced her past.

Or has she?

Nightmares still haunt her, and now that she’s closer than ever to finding her daughter, she wonders if she can handle the truth.

She's about to find out.

One determined woman.
One irresistible man.
One talented girl.
And one psychotic killer.

Can they stop him before he kills again?

Loved this story and the characters involved. Once again Miranda and Parker have a case to solve. Now they're married and settling in and Miranda has at long last found the child she gave up for adoption all those years ago.

This series has been so enjoyable to read. It's been fun watching Miranda and Parker grow from strangers to man and wife with all the little bumps and bruises encountered along the way. Looking forward to delving into the other series of cases they're taking on.

I've been a little disappointed with the series only because Maranda kept running away from Parker. I love their journey of love, drama and excitement. I want more of their story. Ten stars....

All I can say is wow what a great ending !!!!!!

I didn't know about this series and I came across Parker and Steele and it was talking about things that. Happens and I was thinking I sure wish I could read about it. So I looked up her other books she had written and that's when I saw these and let's just say I couldn't put them down!!! I've been laid up with an injury and I needed something to do . I was on the edge of my seat reading the whole series one right after the other!! I hope Linsey reads this because I want her to know I'm very particular about who I read and I put her in my top 5 authors to read along with Mary Higgins clark and that's saying a lot. I hope you keep on writing in the new series because I !Iove Parker and Steele. I love all the characters and the love they have for one another and I hope she quits doubting his love and marriage.

Miranda FINALLY locates her daughter!!

If you’ve read earlier books in the series, you know that Miranda originally arrived in Atlanta to locate her daughter. The daughter who had been conceived by rape then illegally out up for adoption by Miranda’s abusive husband. Parker has joined Miranda’s quest to find her daughter...and he has succeeded...except, Miranda doesn’t get the reception she expected at the first meeting. Miranda’s ex makes a miraculous recovery and escapes from the hospital and Leon has big plans for Miranda and her daughter. The race is on to stop the mad man. This was one of the best books in the series with some uncertainty in Miranda and Parker’s relationship. Highly recommend this book.

Just when you thought it was safe....

This book was pretty terrific !!!
The on going saga of Miranda and her husband \boss the dynamic private detective duo....
In this book Miranda has a time of it !! She finds her daughter , but of Course, nothing goes as she pictured it.Miranda and Wade find out horrible news that not only effects them, but also people they know and care about. And how it all comes together is a shockingly fabulous read !!
Makes me want to continue this series !!!

Are these the best books I've ever read? No, but I have read all 5 this week, and enjoyed them. I'm moving on to the next place in their journey - the Miranda and Parker series. The editing leaves something to be desired, but that can be overlooked when the story is as good as they are. And, I'd like to pick Miranda up and shake her, and she'd knock me into next week! These are fun and a great way to spend a snowy day...

Wow what a finish to the Miranda Rights series

Leon Groh, Miranda’s Ex abusive husband wakes up from a four month coma and escapes the hospital. He has unfinished business to complete. Miranda is shocked Leon woke up and is missing. More dead bodies show up and Miranda and Parker are searching.

Action, determination and a well thought out story is the hallmark of this book,
You will not be disappointed.

I know, I know--I didn't give the first book a great rating, but I got the first book of the next series for free and found I needed to fill in a few blanks. So, I skipped 2-4 and again, didn't miss a single thing. In fact, from the hints dropped about what happened in those books that were dropped here, I think I dodged a bullet by not reading the whole series. Complaints about this book are the same as for the first book. Two stars is pretty generous.

Another Winner!

What a terrific " ending" to this wonderful series! I had a few problems with parts ( credibility) but it would be a spoiler to mention them. Miranda and Parker have an extremely wild adventure with this one as they race from one problem to another. There are also many people who wish to cause problems in their new marriage. Their love for each other overcomes them all---- it was wonderful! I already have the first book of their next series downloaded!

Exciting

Miranda and Parker are married, and settled back into their lives. The finally have the information that reveals where Amy is. But all help breaks loose when Leon wakes up and escapes from the hospital. He evades the police and starts a killing spree. After a barn fire, where they find a charred body Miranda and Parker are sure the ordeal is over. But is it? Why is Miranda having nightmares? And those tingly sensations?

I loved this series! I couldn’t put it down. I read all 5 in less than a month. I didn’t know it continues on and I’m so excited to read more.

There is one line in the book that gives you a clue to how it ends. I guessed how the book was going to end correctly but it didn’t take away from how good the ending was.

Miranda’s character has grown so much from the first book to the fifth. I’ve slowly grown more and more fond of her. Her impulsiveness is definitely frustrating at times.

Second book read

After reading the first book I had so many unanswered questions. First and foremost her daughter. I jumped to book 5 and my questions were answered. Although I enjoyed the story, humor, and independence of the characters, I don't like cliff hangers which I believe is how this author writes.

Great wrap up for Phase 1.

I am looking forward to the new Miranda and Parker series. This journey has been rocky to say the least. She persevered through times that would have overcome a normal person. Linsey Lanier has crafted a character that could teach all of us lessons. I can hardly wait to start the new series.

Finally She has it all!

Great way to end this series. Passing the exam, love, betrayal, heart stabbing emotional pain, people being murdered, trying to keep other people safe, realizing what's most important all rolled into one great book. Thank you for introducing Miranda to us and making her someone I would really liked to know. Great job.

Miranda Parker

I absolutely love this series. I started to read the first book in Parker’s and Miranda’s series and realized there was more first! The Miranda’s Rights mysteries. So...went back and found them, along with the short stories. Now ready to carry forward. Exciting, tense, passionate, gives it all.

A real thriller

Once again, Linsey Lanier did not disappoint. Miranda gets the bad guy, her ex-husband Leon. Through tragedy she finally connects with her long lost daughter and realizes Wade is the only man for her. I am addicted to this series and would recommend it. Thank you Linsey Lanier for another fantastic read.

Excellent

As I've said in other reviews on Miranda Steele I don't like the parts with the explicit sex, I just skip over them because the rest of the story is fast paced, great mystery, Miranda surprise at each turn of a page

Well

once more something happened and Miranda is on the run.. This though she's going to watch Her daughter win an ice skating championship. While I loved this series, I
really felt like the end was rushed and too pat . It didn't ruin the series though.

Thin ice

Maybe Miranda has it finally figured out what it is between herself and Parker. Maybe! Shocked that Step daughter admitted her part in the story and apologized to her father. Still things abound.....

I wasn't sure at first why the title of Thin Ice and after reading I understood the title.

I'm glad she found her child. Now maybe she can go ahead and do more investigation with Parker. Now I'm ready to read more of Mackenzie and Parker's adventures.
