They were okay.
This is my first time reading stories by these two authors. The stories are primarily mmf. I was hoping that the stories were going to be more the two guys going at it while the girlfriend/wife watched but it was the other way around. Husband had to watch his wife get it on with her boyfriend and the husband was used as a fluffer or sometimes they would make him crossdress. I get that the stories are about cheating on your husband/boyfriend but that doesn't mean that they couldn't have talked about bringing in another person into their relationship and that the husband/boyfriend couldn't have his bisexual fantasies fulfilled. I was hoping to read about two guys getting it on while the wife/girlfriend watched. Unfortunately after reading six of the stories that isn't what I got. I will say that the stories are all different. They aren't the same story just with different character names so at least there is that. I just wished that the stories focused more on the mm and less on the mf since its supposed to be a first time gay stories. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I nearly got my fingers burned holding my eReader on this one. Great set of erotic, sensual, steamy, cuckolding menage stories. That's a mouthful, and so are some of the -- er -- parts in these stories. Raven Merlot is my go-to author when I want a quick, steamy, naughty read. There are no deep plots or overly complex characters, just a lot of smokin' hot good times.

Although this doesn’t quite fit what is probably my top niche fantasy of first time mmf it at least gets major horseshoe and hand grenades points. Was it a bit repetitive? Well sure, but isn’t all porn? I guess with pen and paper your not a slave to a budget like moving pictures, but there’s an expectation in short story erotica that there won’t be a ton of time spent on “story” over sex. So a collection of niche taboo porn stories...of course it’s a bit repetitive.
I could be wrong but I’m rather certain that I’m not, by definition “cuckolds” don’t really engage in any type of sex with the other man. For me, I don’t see how witnessing your wife have sexual relations with another dude could be appealing if your not getting some of that dick yourself, but, eh people are weird. How many times do you see two women with a man in porn or hear about it in real life and the two women don’t play with one another? NEVER did you say!? Exactly. Anyhow. So the addition of “first time gay” is what sold me. Cause “cuckold” alone....no appeal. So anyhow, that said you’d think there would a decent amount of gay sex in these stories. Sadly, there was not. So I powered through the boring straight stuff eagerly anticipated when the male protagonist of the story was going to get his first encounter with another man. And when he finally does, really bored and annoyed getting through additional straight sex that wraps up most of the stories. There should have been way more of the man and wife pleasing the other man TOGETHER! Come on! Do what you enjoy together! Strengthen that bond.
I find first time gay and/or lesbian pretty damn hot. Especially if there’s a bit of “artificial” reluctance by the guy and some power struggle light “forcing” from his woman. I dunno. Maybe I should seek counseling. Fantasies are weird right? How can a guy on one hand find gay encounters stimulating but much much more when there’s an element of “forbidden taboo” involved yet on the other hand be pissed that over all society places a “forbidden taboo” over gay sex preventing many men from coming out of the closet to fully enjoy one another’s company. Sigh.
Anyhow, enjoyable stories. But please, a subtitle like this one really calls for much much more gay action!!
Additional note. I did the audible version and feel the narrator did a nice job. For the life of me I don’t understand why these people don’t hire a make and female voice for the different genders in a story...but I must admit...I do find it hot to have a nice female voice tell me about gay make encounters. It’s much more appealing to me than the male voices used in audible gay erotica. Those I prefer to read on my own as the narrator can often spoil the mental images.

Should have paid greater attention to title – “Cuckold Husband”
Subtitle: Is there such a thing as too much of a good thing?...
Honestly, if you like demoralizing or humiliating one party in a threesome, you may like this book. Basically, the plots are the same: husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend are going through a rough patch in their lovemaking so one or both decide to add a third party, always a man who is built bigger, stronger with a longer … And so it goes. In many cases the husband or boyfriend realizes his attraction to the other male in the threesome. I only read eight of the books in this 16-book bundle b/c it got quite repetitive. I would say it is the kind of book that you could return to from time-to-time rather than read straight through like I did. I may go back and finish when I’m in a better frame of mind. Just too much humiliation from his wife, girlfriend for my liking. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout. I give it 3.5 stars.

This collection is an absolutely a must have. As always well written stories with a great storylines and plots. It contains amazing stories that has a lot of chemistry and passion in them. If you enjoy romances that offer plenty of sizzling heat, dirty naughtiness and a taboo edge you can not go wrong with this very entertaining and enjoyable collection.

What was I thinking??? Most definitely not my cup of tea. Did not care for any of, and the thought of finishing the book had my stomach ready to hurl.
