Review: I felt like this was a great addition to the series. The characters are back, they’re amazing and just as funny as the last book. The pacing is still fast, so it’s a breeze to read, and the writing gets better with each book.

However, I still feel like there was still too much focus on physical attractiveness and that made me uncomfortable. The POV also changes without warning and it’s really confusing at times.

Verdict: Aliens!

Zoe is the only person who knows her boyfriend, Rion, is actually a super hot, super intelligent alien. That's more than enough to handle, but when Pandora arrives it seems Zoe and Rion are the only ones who don't fall completely under her spell. What exactly are her motivations for materialising on Earth, and will Rion manage to persuade her to go back before she causes irrevocable damage?
The point of view changes between Zoe and Rion without warning which made it a bit confusing at times. There were a few things that seemed a bit sudden or unexplained, but some of that may have been because I hadn't read the previous books in the series.
An enjoyable light read but I felt the characters were a bit too superficial for me to really get to know them or feel properly invested in their lives. This is a shame as I really liked some of the side characters and would have liked to go a bit deeper.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

I picked up Robin Martin’s Once an Alien, the third book in herThe Alien Chronicles, without having read books 1&2. The good news is that you can kinda sorta catch on and read this one stand-alone. The bad news is that it’s only “kinda sorta” the case. Nevertheless, while it looks like I’ve missed some real fun, I’m not going to penalize for it (as that wouldn’t be fair). And thus book, thanks to Zoe, her “super hot alien” Rion and (most definitely) the wonderfully done Pandora, is a totally fun ride. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go. The book deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is easy to recommend (though I do now sorta wish I’d read books 1&2 before book 3).

Complicated

Rion is not the only alien who wants to materialize. Meet Pandora, another alien whose host has passed away. Pandora wants to have fun. Materializing in human form is giving her the opportunity she seeks. She even manages to take away the "queen bee" title formerly held by Jaz. She also puts Rion and Zoe's relationship in serious trouble. This is the third book in the trilogy. It is a quick and entertaining read.
