This is a good introduction to the beautiful poetry of Robinson Jeffers.

This book contains chapters that focus on his shorter poems, his longer narrative poems and separate chapters on his religious philosophy, especially his concept of "inhumanism" which is essential for understanding Jeffers' writing. All chapters were clear and well written except the chapter called "The Atom To Be Split" where the author lost me a bit.

I recommend this book for anyone who is new to Jeffers' poetry, like myself. It will give you a good grounding in what to expect and which poems to look forward to and read.
