Dear Adam. Since childhood, he'd never once let Lynn Frampton down. Now she was seeking his advice on a most delicate matter -- how to make her boss, on whom she has a fierce crush, notice her as a woman. — Adam's answer astonishes her: He'll incite her boss's Jealousy by pretending to be her lover! To prove the ruse can work, he passionately kisses her ... and arouses a pulse-pounding desire she's never suspected she harbors. Suddenly she sees Adam with new eyes -- as the supremely virile man who's quietly stolen her heart. Yet she dare not reveal her feelings and risk the friendship she holds so dear...
“The very warmth and depth of their friendship made it difficult to commit the ultimate intimacy of revealing the truth about their sexual emotions.”
Basically this book is about getting out of the Friendzone. The H and h have been friends for 16 years. She was 9 and he was 18 when they first met. Their parents are mutual friends.
The h doesn’t know the H loves her. She asks him for help in trying to seduce her boss. In doing so, she realizes that it is actually the H she wants and not her boss.
Very good read. And funny too in the end with her parents and the offer they’ve got to sell their inn.
I take one star off because the h wasn’t a virgin anymore. In the past while he was waiting for her to grow up, he had criticized all of her boyfriends, but he couldn’t prevent her going to bed with one of them.
