"Stay away from Jason Wulf," they warned me - except I've never been good at listening. That's why, after months of unspoken attraction, I ended up letting the towering, tattooed loner bend me over the hood of my patrol car last night; driving me to heights of pleasure I'd never experienced before.
But now the floodgates are open, I have questions: Like who is this brooding biker? What's he doing in our little town of Ruth, Colorado? And could he really be interested in me? A single, small-town Deputy who turned the whole town against her? A simple search in the criminal database could give me all the answers I need - but little did I imagine the hell it would unleash on our small town when I did...
They call me Wolf - and I've done two things in my life I'm proud of: I served my country with a distinction as a sniper in the Army Rangers, and then I rode the highways and byways of America as a member of the legendary vigilante biker gang, The Knuckleheads. But that's all the past...
After one last job in Mexico, the Knuckleheads disbanded and I went to ground in the only place I knew - my grandfather's old autoshop in the Rockies. For the last twelve months, I've lived like a hermit here in sleepy little Ruth, Colorado. It's a lonely way to live. No purpose. No pleasure. Nothing but twisting a wrench to make a living, with nobody but my dog Boomer to keep me company. The only highlight of my life? When Deputy Stephanie Hanson makes her nightly stop at my auto shop, as part of her patrol route.
She's as lonely as I am - a beautiful, smart, tough-as-nails girl who sacrificed it all to follow her dream of becoming a law officer. For a year, I thought my attraction to her was one-sided - until one kiss turned into a whole lot more, and we shared a night of passion that reignited everything I'd forgotten life was worth living for.
For a moment, I even thought there might be a place for me in Ruth Township after all. A place with her.
But then the past I thought I'd left behind me came catching up - and suddenly, Stephanie and I are left fighting for our lives. I don't see how she and I are going to make it out of this alive - but I'll tell you one thing: The longer I'm around this gorgeous little bad-ass, the more I realize there's nobody I'd rather have fighting by my side.
Wolf is a full-length, stand-alone 60,000 word Bad-Boy MC Romance filled with incredibly steamy scenes, nail-biting action, and a plot that will have you on the edge of your seat. Enjoy!
This book started off hot!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Then a fast paced, sexy action packed story followed. I enjoyed how even through chaos, Stephanie & Jason got to known each other. Same bad guy from El Leon and I can't wait for him to get his due. Pretty quick read with action, humor & some hot sexy times.
How does she end up with so many 5 star reviews is it just because people don't want to offend her? I did notice a bunch of them were given the book for a "honest" review and hey I won't lie I've been given the opportunity to read someone's work for an honest review and the book was bad really bad and I didn't want to leave a bad review because the author was nice enough to come to me for my opinion so yeah I get it giving stuff away will sometimes buy people over. However a lot of the other 5 stars seemed like legit people that loved this hot mess of a series! So I guess it's like my brother always said "Opinions are like A-holes we all have one!" So now it's my turn for my opinion, this book was a lot cleaner then her previous books I would dare say it was better then the others. If she would only change up her way of writing she MAYBE could write better books MAYBE I'm not holding my breath on that one. If she would stop filling pages in with the same crap over and over constantly repeating herself she may make it better. During the shoot out between the sheriff's and the bad guys before they went all bam bam on the bad guys Stephanie and Jason had their big I love you moment. We then get to read a couple pages worth of dramatic action during the shoot out. When every thing goes quiet and everyone's reloading she does that $hit all over again we have to read Stephanie and Jason say their I love you all over again! When there is no need for all that filler! God help me when it got to the end and Jason wanted her to ride off into the sunset with him and she couldn't do it and we had to read through all that angst only to finally get to the ending and listen to them I'm going, no, I'm staying, no I'm going, AGH!!!! If you don't have enough to make a complete Novel $hit write a Novella no body would hate you for it they might like you more even if it is a shorter story at least we wouldn't have to keep rereading same crap! For those who leave 5 star reviews because you were given the book for an honest opinion- please make sure you do just that I can't stand when someone leaves 5 stars admits they were given the book for an honest opinion and also writes down errors and things they noticed were off in the book but didn't let it reflect in their rating. Reviews are there for a purpose to help those who are looking for a specific thing and if you let something sway your opinion it throws off every thing for everyone else. Just saying!
Jason “Wolf” Wulf is a man who is living in a small town in Colorado trying to keep his head down and not get into trouble. He’s retired from the Rangers and the Knuckleheads and now running his grandfather’s garage in small town Colorado. He lives a simple life with his German Shepherd Boomer and fixes the few cars that need it. He’s lived here for around a year and has attracted little attention. The one person that he has attracted is the lone female police officer, Deputy Stephanie Hanson.
Deputy Stephanie Hanson has wanted to be a police officer her entire life. She has accomplished that dream, but not everyone is happy with her being in the position. After a crazy break-up with her ex-boyfriend, almost fiancé, her popularity in town took a nose dive. She lived her dream in the small town, but it wasn’t exactly as she had hoped it would be.
Wolf’s past has shown up in town and danger is lurking. He has no clue about what is coming his way or why. Deputy Hanson started a land slide with her curiosity, and one little search caused the death of one man and the possibility of four of others. Will help show up in time to help these four out, or will their dreams for their futures come to an end in one day?
This book has political turmoil, suspense, and a sexy bad boy biker. It wasn’t as intense as El Leon, but the scene around the police station was pretty close. The characters were a mixture of intense and sometimes young. I give this story a 4-star review. If as a reader, you like bikers, retired military, and characters with heat, then you should pick up this book and read it. The Knuckleheads are bad boy bikers with honor for their country.

I have to quote this part in the book ... i just gotta... "All God's creatures, great and small. Heavenly Father, you made them all. Now to your home, this one you call. Upon my shoulders, the duty falls. So guide my hand, my aim be true. I'll send your creation back to you." I know you don't know where that comes from unless u have read the book ...what is happening and so forth ... but oh my goodness ... tissues please. just go ... stop after you read this ... go on ... read the book and write me a note ... tell me your thoughts. will read more from SS MMA ... what a read. no seriously ...is it HOT in here? standalone book. read it. love it. next. There are times when you read a book and you just feel like you are "home". This book was one of those because of the people within! I have read other Simone Scarlet's books where the character's story was told and was so I was very excited when I finally got to read (Jason) Wolf's story. And then there was a surprise arrival of characters from other books (not telling you who....) and well I repeat,it just feels like home! I must admit, I am addicted to the Bad Boys Simone Scarlet writes about and Wolf was no exception. Just as there is always an Alpha Bad Boy and Wolf definitely fits the bill, there is always a strong female lead and Stephanie (Deputy) Hansen fit that bill. There is such a thing as love at first site and these characters found theirs together and I found mine with this book.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
This is an interesting story and has some bad a$$ characters. Jason "Wolf" Wulf is just trying to lay low and blend in within the small town of Ruth. He's known the Damascus Sheriff's deputy, Stephanie for about a year, but they've never acted on their mutual attraction until recently. Then one small background check and BAM all h*ll breaks loose in their small town. Will these two come out unscathed? Does this have something to do with Wolf's past? You'll have to read this exciting book to find out. Excellent read and I highly recommend it.
Just a suggestion, you should read Sold to the Cartel and Beauty and the Biker Boss if you'd like the full story of Wolf's past. But it is definitely not a must because this book is a full standalone story in and of itself.
One sizzling hot read..... So this was a free ARC Copy from the author for my voluntary honest review , and I have to say I really loved this book it's a great sizzling hot read.I really love reading for this author because I know its going to be a great sizzling hot read every time.I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Has a great storyline and great characters to read about.Plus it's sizzling hot to boot.Plus I love this series to.Have fun reading.
I hate giving books bad reviews. It’s not easy to write a book. But this book was boring to me. I never connected with the MCs. There were so many times I was going to DNF the book but after a string of DNFs I vowed to power thru- I made it to chapter 19 and then decided I just couldn’t hang in there or care any longer. I skipped to and skimmed the last chapter. This book was a waste of time.
This couple was great together This was a fantastic book to read The story was well written and had a lot of twists and turns with a very emotional plot that kept you wanting more. The characters were interesting and well developed that had you always wanting them to laugh a break..
Wow this is one wild and crazy ride. It has MCs, the Cartel, one heck of a gun fight, OMG amazing storyline with lots of twists and turns, suspense, sexy romance scenes with a sizzling hot sexy Ranger. I loved it. It was action from the first page until the end.
Really good story. Interesting angle. Although most stories follow the same basic trail - Simone Scarlet makes this journey well worth the gas money. You'll FEEL the characters in this book -at least I did - due to the talents of Ms. Scarlet Thank you, for your time, talent and the story!
This book started with a sizzling sex scene. Honestly I thought I missed something but was good... Then it dropped the ball i could focus on the story.. it got better a few chapters in.. Honestly I would of liked a bit more depth. Maybe u need to read the rest of the series to get it...
So much better than these kinds of books usually are...
This was a great read and actually had a decent plot. I thoroughly enjoyed the backstory for Jason/Wolf and Stephanie. Great sexy scenes with a decently thought out plot, nothing here not to like. I very well might check out the rest of the series sometime.
What a book. Wolf is unsettled with his life after the Knuckleheads. He is keeping his head down and loving on a sheriff's deputy. Stephanie has worked hard to get where she is in the Sherrifs department but she doesn't have respect from all. A decision made in her job cost her respect from most of the town.
Starts off with some hot spiciness, then slowly builds up to a Knucklehead rescue and ends with a satisfying climax, this is an ARC from the author and my honest review (would like more Knuckleheads adventures)
Wulf, former Ranger and biker, had kept a low profile for a year. Stephanie was a Sheriffs Deputy who stole his breath. The find a new home in each other. Recommend.
Part of the series and interlacing with The knuckleheads MC this is a continuation of the story but can also be a standalone book but more enjoyable when you know the characters
loved this book. the characters and plot. the biker and the peace keeper.
love how it linked to all the previous books and characters.
only problem was i read this one first and then in reverse order cos i couldnt tell which order to read them in. so i will probably have to re read this one again.
When Jason "Wolf" Wulf left the Knuckleheads and came home to Ruth Township, he only wanted to open his grandfather's auto repair shop and mind his own business. Now here he is, one year later, and nothing has changed, except he can no longer resist the desire to kiss her. Her being Deputy Stephanie Hanson, the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. Stephanie can't really describe what has changed, but she just can't fight her attraction for him any more. Jason came to town a year ago and has kept to himself, but she checks in on him while on patrol each evening. Things finally click between them when she brings him an anniversary cake. Will these sparks be fanned into a flame? Will that flame be the end of them both? Read it and see! Great book! I love these new characters in the Knucklehead world!
Wolf ...... It is almost a requirement that you read the first "Knucklehead" books and an advantage if you read "El Leon" before you start with "Wolf" even if you can read it as independent as the question marks appearing get their explanation gradually. I personally love books that one can read freestanding but that refers to those who have come before and also in others that the author wrote.
Wolf ...... You just have to love the "bad guy" who put the dangerous life behind him and become a loner. He has opened his dead grandfather's car workshop, set aside the motorcycle and even bought a dog.
So ... Stephanie .... in the beginning I was hesitant about her little vivid / uncertain personality but then fell quickly because without her it would have been difficult to get the story out. In Simone's (and others) books, the women are so incredibly forward and strong that you think there should be a little more "normal" women who can change the world and the hero.
As usual, I can only say that I love it and look forward to the next "El Leon" / "Knucklehead" book. It must be a real pageturner.
A former Sniper for Uncle Sam has retired into a sleepy town after serving two tours and has attracted the attention of the female Deputy. They had hit it off immediately and when she came calling with a chocolate cake as an Anniversary gift, having been in town one whole year, he kissed her. The romance and story go from there. Can't wait to read more.
