The final part of Tallitha's journey is underway. She must now unravel the last secret of the Morrow Swarm and their dark spell, or face the terrible consequences that await her.
Susan McNally's love of books and haunting tales began in her early childhood spent in the north of England. Her parents were inspiring story tellers, recounting ghost stories and fairy tales which ignited her life-long love of fantasy and mystery genres.
After building a successful career in business Susan was inspired to write her first novel after purchasing an Edward Ardizzone illustration from a children's book. This evocative print rekindled the memory of Susan's perfect day, reading for hours, lost in the wonder of her story books.
Writing her novel, that's what Susan wanted to recreate, a gripping tale and a fantastic epic adventure story that children could not put down. She wanted to transport them to a strange, make-believe world full of weird characters and a girl with supernatural powers who had to unearth a dark family secret. So began the idea for The Morrow Secrets...
Susan lived in North London with her husband. After a long and courageous battle with cancer she died in December 2018

I absolutely loved it , a brilliantly told story , full of adventure , friendship and family , the main characters are so well developed and I loved the creatures especially the evil shroves
“The power of the Swarm was coming to an end – and now the hateful brood were turning on one another; sister against sister, uncle against niece; father against daughter, in a vain attempt to save their own skins.”
4.5 | This is an interesting book, I had fun reading this. It’s all about: true friendship, family that’s full of secrets, mysterious creatures and betrayal combined. After reading this book, I’m craving for more adventures of Talitha and Tyaas (together with the Skinks as well). There were many characters introduced, but all played an important role in the story. It’s just that, I specifically despise the Shroves and their evildoings. It’s a great thing that they’re gone for good (or maybe not). The not-so-good thing about the whole series was that, I had trouble remembering all the places they’ve been through and wished that the map was on all of the 3 books to keep track.
Of all the 3 books of “The Morrow Secrets”, I personally love this last instalment. Maybe because all the good and interesting scenarios are here. If I'm not that busy in the morning (bc of my job), I would’ve finished this in a day or two. So, if you guys up for a fantasy-filled adventure, I highly recommend “The Morrow Secrets” trilogy to you.
This is a fun read. I was moving so kinda distracted but I had a little trouble keeping track of the characters and story. A few of the names were a bit too similar. The landscape could have been a described a bit more and I wish the map had been in all three novels so I could remind myself of the locations. Overall, I liked the series.
My favourite book out of the 3. I loved the build up of the story and how it concluded. For once I actually do not dislike the main female character, I actually find her charming alongside every other female character in this book (even the evil ones). I also loved how empowering this book is and how it teaches female empowerment and the good we can do when we all unite together.
