DNF - I started this because one of my friends said it was not as bad as it seems and I read the entire series to this point. I was going to give it the benefit of the doubt. I’m sorry but his actions were cruel. He made her believe for nearly 20 years that she was nothing. No men approached her because he scared them off. She missed dances and al the things young girls look forward to. Then when he decided to finally figure out a way to get the danger cleared up he freaks when he sees a man at her house. The grovel was minimal l, which is where I stopped. 20 years of torture and she forgives him in minutes and within 24 hours they are going at it like bunnies.
I’m so sad. I’ve read every book in this series but this one is just NO. He pushed her away for 20 YEARS making her feel bad about herself because he scared any man off. She basically missed out on her young adult life because he wouldn’t man up. I Ike my heroes alpha and that is not alpha.

This was a sweet story. Safe: heroine is a virgin and hero celibate. I love The Jorgensens I can't wait for more books.

nope no no no.. fuck that.. sorry nope.. like really dude you kept this woman from having a life cuz your ass was to scared to claim her?? 20ish years she thought no one liked her? 20 years feeling like she was ugly!! I hated this so bad!! No guy should make a woman feel like this... he doesn't deserve her.. and what pissed me off even more she didn't make him grovel and beg.. let him feel the pain abit..

Ok boys and girls...here's the deal. I freakin' loved this one. I really did. If you know anything about the type of H's I like, Thane falls into that category. This one is definitely going into my re-read pile.

I've been enjoying the Jorgensen series immensely but this one is at the top of that list, and that's saying something cuz they're all so good. This one is a bit different due to the huge time span of h/H not being together but I really enjoyed how it all played out. Still on my search for Sven though. I'm getting pretty excited!

Erika has given up on love, resigned to be on the outside looking in at happy couples all around her. After finding her one, after one magic kiss and his rejection she was sad. When no other man would ask her out, she figured it had to be her. Now she runs a flower shop where other people pick up bouquets to celebrate their love and hides how sad she is. Thane never thought that things would be so out of control. After finding a solution to his problem, he is now ready to show Erika how he really feels. But is it too late, has too much time gone by?
This was an emotional book for me. Erika's pain, her experiences in high school and adult life, her lack of self esteem was like a hand in my chest squeezing my heart. Thane is a big dummy, he is more beta than the other men we have seen in this series but it works for me in this situation. He didn't have all the life experience to figure out his situation. When he finds out how bad he messed up, he goes to Erika's house and it was everything I hoped for. I do hope we get a few more stories from the Jorgensen's, I'm not ready to say goodbye to this quirky family.

Erika and Thane's story has been in the works for 20 years and I'm so glad that in this read, they finally get the chance to be together and FINALLY get the happy ending they both deserved :)
You have everything you want in this story; passion, funny moments, some sad moments, some misunderstandings, obstacles to overcome, steamy and hot as hell scenes, family bonding moments, a safe read with absolutely no cheating nor condoms (hello, these alpha men want to breed their mate all the time, ha, ha) and a great epilogue as well as a tease for the next story and who it might be... Not spoiling it so go ahead and read this incredible story because I can guarantee you, you definitely won't regret doing so ;)

Erika is book five in the Jorgensen series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. The Jorgensen family have a gift of knowing who their soul mate is as soon as they meet them. Erika has known that her brother’s best friend, Thane was her one for years. I loved this story with Erika and Thane. Erika who for many years wanted to be with her brother's best friend Thane, but Thane didn't feel he should be with Erika. Thane didn't want any man around her so Erika's self esteem of who she was wasn't good. It made me happy when Thane finally realized he wanted Erika but you wondered if Erika would give him the time of day. I was pleased when they finally realized they were meant for one another. Thank you I am loving the Jorgensen family. Thank you again ladies.

Erika and Thane have a looooong bumpy road to get their happily ever after. I don’t want to give too much away so I’m going to leave it at that.
While Erika is a stand alone you really should read the series from the beginning. There are lots crossover characters! This as well as the rest of the series is safe!!

Petal!!
Erika is another Amazing Story added to the Jorgensen’s series!! I can not tell you how much I am in love with this series. With each book I fall more and more in love with the Jorgensen clan and extended family. Thane finally laid it all out so that he could finally claim his Petal, and after waiting for so long thinking that she wasn’t worthy of love, Erika finally gets her forever!! Love love love this one!!

I have read the entire series so far, and all I can say is, if you haven’t read the series yet I suggest you should!! Not all stories will be happy throughout, but love is never good and perfect all the way through. It has it negatives and downfalls. But if you have that pure, raw, true love you can overcome anything!

Loved this book. Erika thought she was ugly and not worth of love because her love interest she thought didnt love her, all the while he was trying to protect her. Fast forward 20 years the story heats up. Very quick read full of alpha Male at its finest.

I liked Erika and Thane. I liked their connection once it actually happened. The 20 yrs they were kept apart was a lot and just pushed away so quickly. Erika forgives and forgets in a hot minute. Either way I like the characters and enjoyed the story.

Ugh...consistency means nothing in these stories. From the previous book it was like 16 years then in this one it was 18 then suddenly 20 in the chapter. Forgive the one you love and all but make him work for it at least.

I just can't say how much I am enjoying these stories. I really prefer these quick reads. I love a story I can finish in a few hours, otherwise life happens and i get pulled away. Instalove, alpha male and lots of heat.
