I found this to be hilarious and weirdly charming!
Content warnings include: sex on-page that seems unprotected but condoms are involved if not always explicitly stated, sugar baby/sugar daddy dynamics with and without sex, BDSM (D/s, bondage), polyamory, one character frequently uses marijuana which he mentions he uses to medicate anxiety and depression (neither of which are a big topic), rich people doing rich people things; mentions of: past bullying, homophobia, parental death and child being abandoned and neglected by parents.
I had no idea being a professional sugar baby (or just sugar, as the book often says) was a thing, or if it is a real thing - either way, the book definitely makes it seem plausible and set up an interesting concept for a book.
It's not about sex, at least not always, it's mostly about companionship, though ultimately the reasons are specific to each person. There's also not just one, but multiple sugar daddies at the same time.
Both Elliot and Vincent are professional sugars, though they have very different styles. Where Elliot is poised, refined and untouchable, Vincent is brash, flirty and frank. When they both set their eyes on the same rich real estate mogul who they each want to take as their client, they clash, hard enough to draw sparks. Hard enough for the sugar daddy to develop an interest in them both - together.
I loved reading about the relationships in this book. Not so much between the main characters (their romance was sweet but lacked depth for me), but between them and the side ones. Both Elliot and Vincent have wonderful friends who I adored, and I loved how genuine their relationships with their clients are. They are genuinely interested in and care for them.
There are no creeps or abuse as one might expect from a book with such a heavy focus on rich older men paying younger ones from much less priviledged backgrounds for their times. Equally the sugars never look down on their clients for their loneliness, their reasons for engaging a sugar or their being old(er.)
The book was also funny! Several situations made me laugh and I marked quite a lot of passages on my ereader.
There were a few scenes that made me anxious as they could have very easily turned sour, but this was never the case - the book is pretty happy and feel good the entire time, with no nasty surprises!
Additionally, the casual and repeated focus on dogs every now and then was adorable (and I hope Andre the Chihuahua loving bouncer makes a reappearance!)
I also loved the casual inclusion of polyamory and open relationships!
This book obviously is the first in a series, ending with a HFN but leaving enough open questions and side plots to make me anticipate the next book.

This started out a bit rocky for me but I’m so thankful that I stuck with it and can’t wait for more!
Elliot and Vincent are both Sugar Babies. They work the same Sugar Daddy circuit. They both had humble beginnings and don’t ever want that life again. And they both have their eyes set on the same prize…Don Anders “the mansion king of Los Angeles!” and one of his many beautiful mansions. The only problem is that they both have seemed to have attracted his attention and now Don is intrigued by the two Sugar Babies…but only as a duo act! How can these two polar opposites ever manage to get their goal if they can’t sand each other?
I totally got Elliot from the get-go. He’s gorgeous, intelligent, poised, professional and driven. He knows what he wants and how he needs to polish his “brand” to achieve his goals. He’s the total Sugar Baby package. Vincent however seems to be the polar opposite. He barely understands proper etiquette, does the bare minimum in fashion sense, is a major stoner, and is like a bull in a china shop. He’s the exact opposite of what a successful man wants on his arm. Now in his bed or on his knees seems like his best route. But between the two of them they offer just what Don wants, the suave and the sassy. And I loved the fireworks that happened then these two finally let in the opposites attract dynamic.
These two somehow wormed their way into me. I had heard of Sugar Daddies, who hasn’t, but never the term Sugar Baby. But I learned it wasn’t necessary always about sex. The men that lavash these babies with extravagant gifts and money are looking for a variety of different things…gorgeous arm candy for a premiere or party, a kind ear for a lonely man, a companion to just be there and maybe snuggle a little. These Sugar Daddies are as varied and different as the babies they seek.
As I stated, this started out a bit slow and confusing for me trying to figure out the dynamics but once it got going I was hooked. I can’t wait to see what’s up next for these two men and their Sugar Daddies!

Elliot is a professional sugar baby. He has a lot of sugar daddies who provide for his needs, but Elliot has one particular sugar daddy in sight. Don Anders, THE sugar daddy. He’s rich, confident and hot.
Vincent is a sugar baby in progression. He wants a mansion for him and his grandma, and he wants the saint-grail of all the sugar daddies, Don Anders. But Vincent will have to deal with Elliot.
Elliot and Vincent aren’t friends. They’re enemies in the conquest of Don Anders’ attention. But Don has other ideas for them.
Sugar for two is book 1 in the Sugar Mansion series by R. Cayden.
Elliot is a professional sugar baby and has a lot of sugar daddies. He’s educated, smart with good manners and he’s beautiful. Elliot is a professional with rules and boundaries. No sex and no love with his clients are the two most important. But Elliot is out of his comfort zone when Don Anders request his services and puts him in direct competition with Vincent.
Vincent has a big mouth—he’s sassy, loud and smokes weed. He isn’t delicate and well poised like Elliot. He’s flamboyant. He wants a mansion from Don, and he’s ready to do anything to have it, including dealing with the unnerving Elliot.
I liked them together. They are exact polar opposites, but in the meanwhile, they’re the same. They have the same background, growing up in a small town in the middle of nowhere, and decided to become a sugar baby to escape their poor childhood and the traumas attached to it. They’re also very different. While Elliot is a freak control, Vincent is flamboyant. They complement each other more than what they think, and I love it about them.
The book is the first in the series, and it settles the main and secondary characters and gives us the background of the series. It was well written, and the sugar daddy/baby world was well explained. It’s not a role age-play book, they don’t call each other daddy/son, and there’s no daddy kink in their sex scenes. It was hot by the way, and I look for more of it.
I will read the next book because I want to know more about Vincent, Elliot and Don’s arrangement, I want to see more about their dynamics as a couple and ménage and look forward to discovering more about the other characters like Jules and Henry.
It’s a 3.5 stars for the sugars and their daddy.

At the start of this book I did not like the two main characters but I have to admit that they are both very honest. We know what they want.
Vincent is scrappy, mouthy but he does what he sets out to do. Elliot is charming and he knows how to please his clients. Put Don, billionaire sugar daddy. into the mix and life is going to get interesting.
Don wants both men. He is very honest in what he expects too and he is very generous with his gifts which pleases both sugar babies very much.
I enjoyed watching the relationship between all three men but the real pleasure right now is watching the relationship develop between Vincent and Elliot.
The story is well written and the editing is good.
The question I asked myself at the end of the book is ‘Do I want to read more about these three men?’ and the answer is yes. There is so much more to know. I will be reading the next book in the series.

A touching story of discovery that engages you so that you're surprised when you are suddenly at the end.

2.5 I didn't buy into the sugars falling in love...at all. I was I was intrigued by their developing relationship with Don, so I will read the next one.

Ridiculously adorable antics between the two leads, though I found myself more interested in the lifestyle and logistics of being a "sugar baby" than in the romance itself.
