Wow I loved this story it was hilarious poor Delilah she was a bad person when she was alive and now she has to atone for all of it but she is bad really bad at her job so she has been sent to the department of Soul Matery that is where she has to get together the humans and their paranormal mates so that should be easy right right!, well sorry no Delilah you have your work cut out for you. Professor J. Cole who is a Kodiak Bear and Penny the human are her next assignments. This is a roller coaster ride of hilarious epic proportions with some hot steamy scenes as well so what more could you want?. This is a fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Cute start to the series

I haven't read Chloe Vincent before. I liked this story but it wasn't as in depth as I would have liked. The characters are well drawn and recognizable. The pace is breakneck, the tone is uncertain,but hopeful and the storyline is a little character oriented and a little action oriented with some steamy scenes. If you want a cute fast read that doesn't go too deep, then this one is for you. Enjoy!

I read and enjoyed this book as part of the Guardian of Mates Agency Boxset by Chloe Vincent, which is a collection of the following four books and a short story: Secrets & Dark Magic, Starcrossed Shifters, Awakened Alpha, Vegas’ Baby Dragon, and Bad Angel. Each book in this series focuses on its own separate couple who are forever mates that need help finding one another and/or getting together. This help is provided by Guardian Angel Agent Delilah of the Department of Soul Matery whose job it is to get these two people to discover one another and realize that they are destined to be together as forever mates. Each book in this series is a stand alone romance that is humorous, sweet, and unforgettable. This series is highly entertaining with lots of interesting characters and unique situations. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading paranormal romance. You will love it as much as I do. Secrets & Dark Magic is a scintillating forever mate paranormal romance.

Delilah is going to be so much fun in this series!

Delilah was not a nice person before she died. Now she has the opportunity to earn redemption. She has already been demoted twice and now her mission is to help mates find each other and save the world. Her first couple is Cole, a Kodiak bear shifter, and Penny, a human with a psychotic brother, Henry. Cole is a player, college professor, and poison/potion expert. Penny just wants to help save people from getting hurt. Cole and Penny's dynamic is fun and engaging. She is funny, adaptable, accepting of his bear and is perfect for Cole. This is a great book if you like shifters, angels with attitude, a strong romance, magical suspense and a happily ever after.

This is the first book I've read by Chole Vincent and it won't be the last. The storyline was engaging and kept my interest as well as the drama, twists, mistakes and emotional turmoil created tension for the couple. Cole and Penny are both strong characters and that made for a well balanced couple. The attraction between the couple simmered along nice as they engaged in a chemistry that was steamy and hot. I can not wait to read more books from this author.

This was such an entertaining book I was engaged with not only the storyline but by Penny and Coles chemistry. This PNR was a different type of book for me in the shifter world adding Delilah into the mix as a matchmaker. Laugh out loud scenes with drama thrown in made it easy to read.

2 major story lines....

Yup, 2 in 1, a story inside another story, 1 about an "almost guardian angel", & 1 about a human & bear shifter. Basically, the AGA (almost guardian angel) had to get the human & bear shifter to fall in love & save the world, from the female humans brother.

Cole and penny's story is a quick shifter human Romance with a lot of action mixed in. The characters could use more development.
