Makes you think about the effect tea has had on the world, how it has contributed to socializing. Regrettably it turned out to be a thinly concealed advert for mssrgs. Hornaman tea company but that was okay. I could overlook it since it was so long ago (1878, to be precise). The cup of cheer that doesn't inebriate.

The last chapter makes me believe the whole book is an elaborate advertisement rather than an actual history of tea, but it's an entertaining little read nonetheless.
