NOTE: OLD REVIEW!!

Prom Night: All the Way is as good as any hilariously laugh-out-loud book. Maybe even better. It's one of those "light, fluffy books" when we've taken too much of seriousness and the heavy books, and need a good laugh and a cute read.

Carmen's AWESOME. I loved her character, she's hilariously funny, amazingly talented (Luv her Fashion Designs!) and headstrong, not afraid and is willing to move on. I love some of the things she says, she's just so EVILLY Funny (evil in a good way!) when it comes to revenge, and she's just awesome in a general way :).
Carmen strikes a problem at the beginning of the book: The Prom. Who's she going to go with? She just moved to a new school where her only friends are her cousin and her friend. She cannot go to her previous school's prom, because, well, she doesn't go there anymore! Just so conveniently, she lives next to Molly, the most popular girl in the school and sees her and Joey, her boyfriend breakup. Joey then asks her out and SCORE! Carmen's sure she has a date to the Prom. That's a good thing... Right?

*SPOILER ALERT*

WRONG. Everything starts falling downhill from there on. Rumors start spreading around and worst of all, all guys are now asking Carmen out for the wrong reasons. Pictures, E-mails and Blog posts spread rumors and hate around and Carmen then becomes Popular...popularly bad. I really love how Carmen's so strong during this time. She doesn't crack under the pressure, she tries to do right, by moving on and ignoring the jaunts, the teasing and the hurt.
I really thought that Tyler would be the one, but guess what?? (Really big spoiler people. DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU WANT THE BOOK TO BE SPOILED!) He's just as bad as two-faced Joey! He only wanted Carmen for the wrong reason and it's really sad how she finds out. And this then is the final straw.

Carmen's out for Revenge.

Her revenge plots are helped by her partner in crime, Emily (another amazing character!) plan devious (and genius!) plans for revenge to those who hurt her. In a hilariously funny way, for us at least. I couldn't stop laughing at her revenge plans for the Guys and Dolls play and of course, during the Prom.

All Characters were very realistic, and it's sad to say, but I think this could really end up happening in real life, which makes the book even more realistic so. Everything is planned out well, the plot ties up well and people who seem like one thing, turn out to be another. The Cover really caught my attention (I believe it was on sale at Indigo! Bookstores...) and it really intrigued me to read this book.

Overall, Prom Night: All the Way is a hilariously funny revenge story with a realistic side, with emotions raging from hurt to love. Megan Stine has written an amazing story about that one special night in a girl's life, the Prom. Can't wait to read another of her books, Prom Night: Making Out!

Carmen Salgado is in Senior Hell. That's what she calls it. Her parents renovate houses for a living, and this time, her parents were unable to find another house in her hometown to purchase. So, against Carmen's wishes, they move twenty miles away from everything she knows.

Her family moves in next door to Molly Barton. Molly is all-around perfect. She's a cheerleader. She's the senior class president. She gets all A's and B's. Her family is rich. AND she's seriously involved with Joey Perrone. From Carmen's work studio above the garage, she has a clear shot into Molly's bedroom. And there she happens to oversee the couple have a major fight. Joey storms out and runs into Carmen in front of the two houses. There, he invites her out, and thus begins the woes for Carmen for the end of the school year.

All Carmen wants is to find a date for the Prom. She can't attend the prom at her old high school unless she has a date or is a current student. So that means she has to find a date at her current school, Norton. With the help of her best friend from her old school, they go through the possibilities. When Joey asks Carmen out, Carmen starts to ponder the idea of going with him.

But Joey turns out to be a total cad on their date. He takes Carmen to park at the lake and they start to make out. But when Carmen doesn't put out, he leaves her to walk all the way home from the lake alone. To make matters worse, Joey keeps a blog, "Joey's Joint," and lies about his date, saying they've gone all the way. Previously invisible at her school, now she's getting attention -- just the unwanted kind.

When she joins the school musical, she attracts the attention of the lead, Tyler North. Tyler never acknowledges the rumors started by Joey and, after a few missed attempts, they finally get to date. But Tyler may be just as bad as Joey.

When Carmen finally has enough at her school, she decides to take back her reputation in an over-the-top gesture. With some newfound friends at Norton, and an amazing dress, she faces the Prom and those that have said the worst things about her.

Ms. Stine writes a candid look at how words written on someone's blog can destroy another person's reputation. Carmen finally reaches her limit and fights back against those who have wronged her.

This book was about a girl named Carmen Salgado, who just moved into town and becomes the new girl in school. All she ever wanted was a date to the prom. But when she starts dating a school jock named Joey Perrone and refuses to go all the way with him, she becomes known as the school slut. Joey lies about their relationship and posts it up on a blog. In order to gain her reputation back, she joins the school play and tries to get attention from Tyler North. She wants to get revenge on everyone who has humiliated her on prom night. I think that this book was overall okay. To me, this book wasn't a page-turner but it was interesting to see what the character thinks and decides to do. I also like how it was put in first person point of view so that you can really put yourself in the character's shoes. I feel that this book shows a typical high school setting and that it can be relatable. I feel that I was able relate to Carmen in a sense that I would be shy being the new girl in school and how I would want to take revenge on people who have humiliated me.

This book was okay. Annie Chiu recommended me to read this book so I thought, why not give it a shot? This book was pretty interesting from just reading the blurb and things were pretty unexpected. I liked the plot and how events went by with good descriptions and unlike other books, it was not as rushed. At first, for the first few pages, I got really bored but as I continued, it started to get really interesting. This book is basically about a girl who has someone spreading rumors saying that she went all the way but she really didn't. Also, that she is desperate to find a prom date and all these events occurred before this happy ending which I did like, because there is this really nice quote at the end that stood out to me. I think teenage girls would best connect to this because it deals with girls and their senior year and getting ready for prom and the events that occur before.

This book screamed DRAMA all over the place. I think that it could happen to a person in reality. That would be pretty aweful though. This book is about a girl named Carmen who moved into in a new town and a new school. Carmen refused to have sex with this guy named Joey and as her consequence, Joey spread a rumor about them going all the way. If I was in the position of Carmen, I would become so depressed! The guy Joey is such an asshole! I'm not surprised that Carmen wanted to get revenge on the people who laughed at her and made her life miserable. I hope this story never comes to life for anybody.

this book is about how a girl doesn't go all the way with a guy and she gets talked about in school. even though the girl didn't go the whole way with the guy, the guy claims that she did and the whole school thinks shes a slut. She joins play for this guy that she thinks is not like the other guys and then she finds out that he just wanted to be with her because he thought she actually did have sex wit that other guy and wouldn't mind having sex with him .
