Family finish
What a nice finish to the Quinn family stories. We meet Colt and heard about Kim briefly in Navy and Holden's story. They were together then had a major misunderstanding that broke them up and broke them. Kim left her acting career and went into hiding from a stalker. Colt became a serial dater, seldom dating a woman more than once. Colt got set straight by Navy and Holden at the end of "Her Too-Perfect Boss", then goes to his boss, Sutton to find Kim, getting signed to be her bodyguard. His has the length of his story to apologize for messing up, convince Kim to trust him again, and keep her safe from her stalker so they can have their HEA.
TBH, Colt came off a little cocky and glib, but that was his personality tied to a large dose of hopeful and focus on his lady and it worked for them.

Her Forbidden Bodyguard: Quinn Family Romance Book 6 is by Cami Checketts. This is a wonderful book which is difficult to put down. The characters are realistic and seem to pop out of the page and talk directly to the reader. The suspense is frightening. Just waiting for the stalker to send another message or show himself is terrifying to Kim Heathrow. To compensate, she has reverted to her OCD and has a daily schedule which she follows. It gives her soul tie to go into it again.
Kim Heathrow had moved to Costa Rico five years ago, after her stalker had shown up. Here she had made a home and had started painting again. She had her schedule and she stuck to it and was productive. She had people to talk to when she went out and things to do. She had also come to Costa Rico to get away from the possibility of seeing Colt Quinn. He had betrayed her and then wouldn’t take her calls when she called to find out what his explanation was. She wasn’t going to get in a situation like that again. Now, with the noise she heard, she had to call Sutton about getting help. Evidently her stalker had found her.
Colt Quinn had never given up on Kim. He had gone to Sutton and begged for a face to face with her. Sutton had relented and hired him to protect her. He had gone to her house to tell her and she thinks he is a burglar. Still she won’t let him tell her what happened that night. When he tries, she changes the subject. Can he protect her and can he finally tell her the truth? Will she ever listen to him? Will this need to talk to her about that night interfere with his job to protect her? Who is stalking her?

This was a really fun quick, cute romantic read. The setting was amazing and I loved how Colt tries and tries to get Kim to listen to his side of the story. This was a clean read.

I normally love second chance romances but I couldn't get into this one. There was a lot of repetition that didn't move the story forward which made me want to say, "yeah, yeah, we already know that", but my biggest hang up was Colt. Kim stated over and over that he wanted him to keep his distance and stop trying to draw her in. And he repeatedly broke his promise to do so. Even if he thinks that she really does want him to hold her or kiss her, that is no excuse. Don't touch me means don't touch me. No means no. And in general I don't like cocky heroes that basically say , "yeah, I know you want me". So in essence, I thought Colt was a jerk. A lot of focus on physical appearance bugs me too.

Loved this lush tropical setting!!! I think I need to go visit Costa Rica now. There is another strong character in this book that needs his own story. Then we can visit Costa Rica again through Cami Checketts' amazing stories. I love the Quinn family. It was fun to see Colt's perspective of what happened with he and Kim and what he has done with the time since then. Kim's trust issues with him are so understandable. I loved peeking into Navy and Holden's life again. Fun to see all the siblings try to help Colt grow up.

Well, I think I have soured on second chance plots. I cannot stand how Kim is acting. She is a nightmare and a head case. Good grief. I just can’t keep reading how Colt is being a doormat. For Pete’s sake, I am at 55% and there is no improvement or change in their relationship from the first chapter. I just cannot go on. It is also completely ridiculous that she won’t let him explain himself. It is also weird how Kim keeps sticking to her schedule. Weird and weirder.

Overall this is a good book. It has sweet characters that are slightly predictable. I do wish it would have had a bit more suspense when it comes to the stalker. Maybe a few more notes or a couple of threats? My biggest complaint would have to be how abrupt of a change of mind Kim had. At the end she went to bed not knowing and she woke up 100% in love. Ready to give it the relationship of real chance. I think that could have been drawn out a little bit more.

It was okay. At this point, I just really wanted to finish this series.
The plot was alright and didn't have as many holes as the previous books. The way Colt came back into her life bugged me a little though - I mean, she's being stalked and secluded. Why wouldn't you just go into her house and expect her not to be scared?
I believe this was the last book. It's overall a decent series.

All the feels and a great finish to the Quinn family series!
I loved this series and this book met all the feels. A stalker, a hideaway, and a romance in a beautiful tropical setting. If you like action, adventure, suspense and romance, you’ll love this book and series! Clean reads have never been so fun!

Much to learn from second time around
Another Quinn family adventure. Kim and Colt met again after being hurt by each other 5 years ago. Even with the strong feelings for each other, forgiveness seems a strong maybe. A stalker does not help the process. Loved the book. Definitely, 5 stars.

Colt has always been the playboy of the Quinn family. In Navy's story, we find out why-he was in love and had his heart broken when she cheated on him. This is Colt's chance for redemption. He is hired to protect the woman he has loved from a stalker. While predictable, it is a cute read. It is a good ending for the Quinn family series.

Quinn Brothers always have it all together. This Quinn brother did a lot of groveling and begging. It worked out in the end, and is still a mighty strong man with a good woman by his side, but I would like to hear more about both of them. This Quinn Brother has kept me hanging on.

HOt. THis bodyguard is sexy. You really fill his love and struggle with keeping away from her. Just a yummy book. Yes, there is a storyline of her childhood stocker and her O.C.D. to cope but it is a hot yummy romance.

Cami really knew how to make us not wanting to put this book down!
I do love to read mysteries, & throwing in romance is another way to keep my attention. Camo did a good job having a past boyfriend show up as her assigned bodyguard. The adventure that happened was good!

Very good collection
Was a good set of books and was glad to see that there were people of color and not just white people as main characters. Would love to see a male character of color as well. Otherwise I loved these books and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I enjoyed this book's storyline. Some of the dialogue in this story made me laugh 😂. I really liked Kim's character. I really liked Colt's character. I really liked the action scene. I really liked the ending.

I loved this story! Kim is so broken and regimented. Colt is so repentant and determined. This was the perfect ending to the Quinn Family Romance Series.
