Even as the shot heard round the world started the War for American Independence, a Redcoat massacre of peaceful Algonquins drew Boone into a battle of his own. Determined to bring the renegade British troops to justice, Dan'l joins forces with a warrior bent on righting the wrong done to his people. But the two soon learn that revenge has a price.

My wife is a descendant of Daniel Boone (her grandfather was named Boone Hunter), so I bought one of these as a gag gift for her. After a decade or so, I read it. Dodge Tyler is a pen name so some are better than others. This is an other.

I am a big Daniel Boone fan. While I know these stories are fiction based on his life I still enjoyed them. Recommended
