3.5 stars This book was definitely more detailed than the other book. I enjoyed Leaf and his feisty and protector personally. Etienne I felt sorry for because the first mate he had didn't appreciate and cherish him the why a mate should. Teagan, I was torn about I felt bad that his father was a abusive asshole and his mother didn't protect him the way a mother should. I just thought how he went about protecting Leaf wasn't the best option, he just dropped him off and didn't bother to visit or explain himself he just totally abandoned him. He should have tried to gain Leaf's trust and talked to him about the risk he was in because of daddy dearest.
I have enjoyed this series because I do like most of the characters but I do wish the last book Finding Happy had more of a closure, it just kind of ended. I had thought maybe this book I would find out about Happy and how he and Sawyer were doing and maybe some word on the baby to come but nothing. Huh. I just think these books in the series need more of a completed finish, just in my opinion.

This book had so much potential. The characters were interesting and had a strong foundation as individuals. The situation and stakes were high, but it seemed to drag on during boring parts and race by the exciting moments. I also didn’t feel the chemistry between the characters. Especially Leaf and Teagan. Once they got together they seemed to morph into one generic blob.

This book was so much fun to read. The plot was super fast moving and had a lot of really enjoyable action. And the romance was cute. It was all in all a super fun read.

I received an arc of this book and this is my honest opinion

This third book in the Wingspan series is just ok. Probably more like a 2.5 star book. The writing is mediocre, the plot has holes you can drive a truck through, and like previous books there is little character development and no real resolution provided to the storyline.

We don’t really get to know the three MCs that well and the big crisis storyline, the huge horrible crime being committed, is barely dealt with at all. There appear to be no consequences in this world which is a complete anathema to shifter mythology. Similarly, existing vampire mythology is completely ignored. My impression the entire time I was reading was to wonder if this author had ever read or watched anything about vampires.

And it’s really a shame as the three MCs all seem to have interesting stories to tell which we unfortunately never get. A good editor probably could have encouraged the author to cut a bunch of the more problematic stuff and enhance the character development. I think it would have added more to the story. As has been the case in the earlier books, because there is so little background there isn’t a lot of opportunity for the reader to get to know the characters and root for their happy ending.

The same is true of the threats posed in these books, this one most of all. The threats never really get explained. Who is the warlock? What’s up with him? Is he a co-conspirator? What’s up with experimentation? Is there sex trafficking? Why do the mates pose a threat? Had it not been for the prediction there would have been no threat because no one would have cared about the bobcat shifters which sets all this in motion.

And as for the crisis resolution, WTF? It makes no sense whatsoever and nothing gets explained. I’m pretty sure I can’t continue reading this series. It’s too aggravating.

**I voluntarily read an arc and this is my unbiased opinion.**

story doesn’t fit

I’m all for series that blend together where you see the story of a character that appears briefly in one series but their story is told in a completely different series. like Rory‘s book, book number one of this, the Wingspan series.

I’ve read the Saint Lakes series, and books 1 & 2 of this series, but I’m struggling with this book. I’m on chapter 13 and it seems like a very long prologue. The reason I say this is because half the story takes place even before any of the Saint Lakes stories so it takes us way back and almost drags us forward in a convoluted way. At chapter 13 and I’m nowhere near where book 1 of Saint Lakes started so I’m completely lost. Almost feels like this story should’ve actually been part of the Saint Lakes stories not the wingspan stories.

That, or this book should’ve been a book that was an extra. One that was written because Teagan’s story was so involved and required a standalone book for anyone who hasn’t read any of the other books in any common series or for those who have read all the books and want to know Teagan’s story.

I almost felt or feel like the author shot herself in the foot with the mentioning in book 1 of this series of Teagan rejecting his mate because he was damaged and then moving on to date and pursue Cherwyn (Rory’s mate). If this wasn’t mentioned and part of the story was a very long prologue before we jump forward it would almost make more sense and you wouldn’t have in the back of your mind how does this work out when we know fast forward at some point he has this relationship with someone completely different who is not his mate and he doesn’t have the pull, he doesn’t have any of the things we expect, he just rejected his mate and moved on so how does this work where he’s now supposed to have two mates?

This book seems unnecessarily convoluted and takes everything you think you know about mates and turns it on its head. Only my curiosity and wanting to find out how this comes together by the end of this book is the only reason I’m choosing to continue reading because right now I’m just frustrated and it’s just a whole Lotta backstory especially when you’ve read an entire series and half these people have died.

It almost feels like Teagan’s story needs to be an entire series on its own. Kind of like the series “the chosen one” where as the story progresses they’re finding different guardians and doing battle with the bad entity and its minions and it leads you through the development of not only each character but the love and bond between the mates and then everyone else that we see who help them, who separately have different stories in the series or in a spin off series. The time line fits in the chosen one and spin off.

So far Teagan’s story is so far out of left-field and takes on a whole new timeline all by itself

This book is full of action. We have Teagan (a Dragon shifter) a politicians Son. Whose father is less than lawful. When a fortune teller shows them that Teagan and his two (yet unknown) mates will bring down his Father. Teagan leaves to search for his mates and hopefully save them from his father Roth.

Then we have Leaf and Ash, (Bobcat shifters) brothers who are struggling to get by, but if they are together, they know they can face anything. Leaf tends to protect his brother who is less confident and quieter. But as the story unfolds, they are the strength that each other needs.

We follow the characters down a dark journey that includes Leaf and Ash being kidnapped by the local Vampire group, to be used for experiments.

Etienne is one of the Vampire guards at the hideout. He is forced to be part of the project but is planning to try and save the prisoners if he can, and at least make sure they are treated well whilst under his guard.

Etienne soon realizes that Leaf is his fated mate and his need to get leaf and ash to safety become his main objective.

The story is in a beautifully crafted world full of details that keeps your attention and the pages turning. The characters have strong personalities, Leaf is protective and will take on terrible odds if it saves his brother. Etienne also has a protective personality but is calmer than leaf who is a little fireball personality.

When Ash is taken to be used by whoever is conducting the experiments, Etienne along with his co-guard start an escape attempt, but only Leaf escapes.

Whilst searching town to town for Ash, leaf meets Teagan an is confused to find he is also his mate. They have a bumpy start but soon start working together along with Teagan’s uncle Nigel, to find Ash and save the other prisoners.

As you can guess the story is full of tension and emotions, that has you biting your nails at times. It is truly paranormal story which is integral to the plot and the characters in the story. I really felt like I was part of the story, especially in the paneled room and on Leaf’s search for Ash. It was as though I was the bobcat hiding in the woods fearful and worried.

A great and exciting read, that has a happy ending, but also nicely leads you to Ash and Nigel’s story in the next book A Little Unsteady.

Series, just kicked up a few notches. Teagan, dragon is basically a trust fun kid with a conscience. He is emotionally at the point of challenging his Dad, Terrance who is a person of questionable ethics. His Mom, Silvia asked a psychic to give a reading on Terrance's political chances. They psychic displays two images and declares 2 beings will ensure Terrance looses. Teagan, feels a pull to the images and recognizes them as his mates. He runs away hoping to avoid a catastrophe. He calls on his Mom's brother, Nigel. Etienne, vampire, is with Delano who enters into a nefarious agreement with Terrance to capture, store then execute prisoners. Delano's reasons are shortsighted. Delano assigns Etienne to guard the prisoners. Leaf , bobcat takes care of his younger brother, Asher, they both were captured. Can Teagan and Uncle Nigel find solutions to the threats? Can Etienne and Gair, an ally save the captives? Will Leaf, Asher and Fenton, another captive get free? Even though they are all different will Teagan, Leaf and Etienne succeed as a throuple? Story has many crisis potential catastrophes introduced and played out. Nice set of characters. The mysteries and complexities are exciting and engrossing. Series getting more interesting. Nicely done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

ok, this book confused me ... and that is totally independent of the fact that it is the third book in this series, because I don't think I would have been less confused if I had read the other books in this series

here the timing was just totally off, the relationship or -ships were just off and then on, the characters were not very well developed, and the mystery/big problem was "puff - and over"

so first, why was the timing off: the first time we see all three MCs together is in the last quarter of the book. the first half of the book is just each MC alone - which totally shows my second point

I liked Taegan and in the end I really adored him - yes, he made a mistake but maybe Leaf should have just talked to him ... that would have been my preferred way of handle things
I totally could not stand Leaf: he is childish, headstrong and I could not see how the other two fell in love with him
but I adored Etienne: he was a great MC and I would have loved to see more of him

and the big problem was more or less just "puff"

interestingly, I nevertheless liked parts of the book but I am not sure if I will continue this series

an ARC was provided by GRR and I am happy to give my honest opinion

Brilliant The authors best book yet

A great shiftier story with three fantastic characters involved. Teagan captured my attention right off which lead to Etienne and Leaf's being included. This story is one of the authors best as I loved the extra length of the book. Scenes where brilliantly written but must warn some scenes that are violent. I can't wait to read Leaf's brothers story. Hot scenes where included and the ending is a great one. The emotions gets to you throughout the book as scenes play out, I loved the brother's and of course the ending scenes are sad, but it all works out. The ending has a slight cliffhanging to it which makes me wanting more.
Teagan was a dragon shiftier attending his fathers political party, after a fortuneteller, Rolden shows him his two other mates a vampire and a bobcat. Times of danger and Teagan has to leave to locate his mates before danger find them. Etienne was a Vampire, and Leaf is a little bobcat shiftier..

I actually started this series with this book, and I was totally engrossed from the early scene when Teagan our dragon saw his mates in a Warlock's clear magic ball. His dragon roared and needed to find "the bobcat shifter and the other one"! The Warlock tells him "They will be your downfall"! For me this scene sets the stage for how all of their lives will become intertwined. It is a dark world with bad politics and evil intentions. I was not always pleased with Teagan's decisions, but I adored Leaf and Etienne is, well a Vampire! I loved this trio and how their romance developed. It was natural and imperfect. The romance is supported with a good suspense plot. I read an arc and I will warn you; this does cliffhanger with you needing and wanting Leaf's brother Ash's story!

An interesting read. I expected a bit more action, more doing not telling, but it was still interesting. It has pretty much it all - politics, prophecies, abuse, experiments, kidnapping, shifters, action scenes, violence, romance. It felt a bit stilted sometimes, a bit confusing go-stop-go-stop rhythm. One moment, a lot is happening and it kind of makes sense, the next, something gets either jumped over or analyzed to minute details. Fragmented one could say. The relationship was fine, but I didn't feel much of a connection between the mates, which was a bit disappointing, since I am a fan of insta-love and mate bonds. I still enjoyed the story and wanted to know what will happen next and how it will all end.

Grrrrr. Why did Ihave to find a series I like half way through it??

This book was about the timeline and story between Teagans abusive father finding out(via a warlock), that he wasnt going to get his way again and its due solely to Teagans mates who had yet to meet. Teagan sets out to find them, and his father puts things into place, forcing Leaf and Etienne to meet, and for Etienne to help Leaf escape and find Teagan.

I liked that this had an actual storyline, it wasnt just this is your mate and they have sex. I Loved Leafs take no prisioners attitude. Fiesty

Teagan, Leaf and Etienne are drawn together by the troubling actions of others. Their story is not an easy one with enough plot twists and shifts and sizzling chemistry between them to make this installment in the Wingspan series a memorable one. I really liked the foreboding by the fortuneteller to Teagan that sets the action in motion for him to seek out his mates who are in danger from his evil father among others. Good stuff that kept me engaged to the end.

Wishing I'd began with the first book, but I'm a glutton for punishment. Especially when I fall for a series. Dragons are one of my favorites to read about and this was a fabulous book.
Etienne, Teagan and Leaf, must find balance in their relationship. There wasn't a shortage of steam while everything else went on around them.
My only pang was how seemingly abrupt the ending came along. Otherwise, one smoking hot book.

This is the story of Teagan, Leaf and Etienne and it is also the 3rd book in the Wingspan series. I would suggest that you read the books in order. I loved the sizzling chemistry between them and just wanted to keep Etienne for myself. The action and suspence keeps you turning the pages. I found this one thoroughly entertaining. Loved the world the author created. Recommended.

The third book in the Wingspan series has the action heating up a bit. A move is made to stop the trafficking of humans, shifters and vamps. Wrapped throughout this storyline is the mating story of Teagen, dragon, Leaf, bobcat, and Etienne, vamp. The book is in third person but it's chapters focus on the individual mates and how they interact with the supernatural world around them. A good, solid story.

Book 3 of the Wingspan series was much more in-depth than the previous two. I hope we get more information about the experiments that were going on and not just have that part of the story drop. We should since Ash was rescued but there should be more said about it.

I really liked to triad in this one a Dragon, Bobcat and Vampire. to bad this isn't Mpreg.

Teagan , Leaf and Etienne

This was a good story. As book three in the series this was a great addition. These three have a hard time of it. This store is full of interesting moments and a few twists of fate but in the end they got a great ending and I am excited to read the next story.

I loved the three fated mates characters here and the pairing of dragon, vampire and bobcat was interesting. I'm a sucker for any story that has a political backdrop and Teagan's congressman father and his bargain with Etienne's coven leader made for a nicely suspenseful plot. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed this book. Good world building. I loved the characters. Teagan, Etienne, and Leaf had such great chemistry. They are a dragon shifter, a vampire, and a bobcat shifter respectively. Their relationship wasn't perfect, of course, but they complimented and suited each other. The story had action, suspense, and danger. I enjoyed it. 4 stars.

MMM Shifter urban fantasy romance

A well written and engaging mm urban fantasy shifter romance between two shifters and a vampire who come from different backgrounds. There’s lots of hurt/comfort, likeable characters, character conflict and development, and a HEA. There is some secondary character drama set up for the next book.

Three's the charm

Third book in series much darker than pervious books. Domestic violence and human trafficking the plot had a lot of holes in it but the main characters were great together hope we have Asher and Nigel's story next.

Great Read

I really enjoyed this book in the series. Leaf had issues with trust, and he definitely was a tough character. I felt for Etienne, and I loved how strong Teagan was. But all three of them together just worked; fate knew what she was doing.

Really enjoyed this one. I wasn’t too impressed with Teagan and how he went about protecting Leaf. His behaviour didn’t sit right with me.

This story was one long emotional rollercoaster.

This book was pretty ok, although I wished it was a bit more fast-paced. There seemed to be some parts of it that dragged on a bit, then the last 10% or so just wrapped everything up quickly. Could have been more bonding between the mates also.

First book I read of the series, but i don't recommend since this is the third book, you'll get lost on characters. But it does have good characters, a good plot, action and, decent heat.
